Seems you have the Mobile theme plugin activated, and it is disabled for the homepage. When you install and activate the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
Better deactivate the plugin and see the results

I installed the Newspaper theme. Here’s the website.
For the home page, I went to Pages > Home, clicked edit and Tag div and I edited the home page the way I needed it to be. I want to the same thing for Article
Problem: I cannot find any template for an article view that can be edited, anywhere. Here’s an example article view
I want to remove some elements from the right side and customize a bit, turn of the reply and comments.
I already turned it off in the WordPress settings, I searched the entire system, I cannot find a single place where I can edit that page. All options were turned off from both Settings and Newspaper settings

If you notice that the site redirects to other sites, it may be because of injected malware. We recommend you follow the steps below:
– Change admin passwords and delete admin accounts you are not familiar with;
– Delete any weird/unknown plugins;
– Delete the weird/unknown themes;
– Clean unfamiliar Theme Panel injected code (example – https://i.imgur.com/4q70kCv.png);

– Update the theme to the latest version, Newsmag v5.2.3

I saw that you have the mobile theme +amp, so those are two options: use the amp only on the posts, without pages, or disable the amp only on that page; for this, you need to disable the mobile theme plugin, go to that page and use the amp option to disable it from the page after that enable the mobile theme plugin after doing this the mobile theme and amp versions will be disabled on that page.

In general how to manage PHP updates in future? Do you advise customer when needed or possible?

Okay, so without pictures – I’ve found the problem but can’t understand why. We use Custom Post Types for a lot. In order to get the custom post types to display by default in Categories, and such – I believe this code is needed.. However, this code also breaks that ability for the theme to grab the custom post types and place them into the categories and home page by default..
