When we post on Twitter with a URL of one of our Posts, Twitter does not seem to show a Twitter Card for all posts. For example:

Via Twitter Validator (https://cards-dev.twitter.com/validator) we see the following issue with the unsuccessful posts:

We found this error from the logs:

The plugin td-standard-pack fails to open stream, which could be the reason the meta tags are not being retrieved properly.
We are currently on Newspaper theme version 11.2, however updating the theme causes the site to crash… is there any way to update the theme without crashing the site?

I have added custom field at the end of my blog post to add references. How can set it as drop down list like when I click on references then all the references show in drop down list

I was able to figure it out by starting over from a brand new cloud template and also by utilizing the page caches.
However, changes don’t get updated unless you go into each post, and “update” it. Is this a bug?
For example, lets say I modify the single post template. It won’t show for any of the posts until i go into each single post, update it (with no changes) and refresh/clear objects.
This doesn’t seem like the right functionality because if you change something on the single post template, it would be unreasonable to go into each post manually and to do a phantom update by changing nothing and hitting ‘update’.
Does that make sense?

Hi Bettina, I’m setting up the CPT & Taxonomy page. The problem is with the choice of taxonomies available on the pulldown menus. See https://imgur.com/a/edyNvVt.
The point is that the taxonomies which are in the pulldown menus are only the custom taxonomies listed in the Custome Taxonomies section at the bottom of the page. There’s no obvious way of choosing the standard WP taxonomies.
Ideally we want the listings to be posts of a custom post types (advanced ads), but using the normal WP categories and tags. The aim is to avoid running two taxonomies and managing the correspondences between them.

Hello, I have the same problem even without woocommerce plugin.
Who ever creates an account on my website (by default as a subscriber), a page “https://example.com/author/authorname/” is created automatically.
If there’s a way I can disable the creation of author page only for subscribers I would be grateful.

I already have a blog website with Newspaper theme.
The website is about real estate & reviews.
I want to create a category of properties, to show properties we have for sell in our agency, so I’ve installed tagDiv Real Estate PRO Demo Plugin.
I wanted to load from the tagDiv Cloud Library the new CPT of Real Estate listing but the only CPTS I can see is the BLANK one and Doctor Pro.
It’s not uploaded yet? Do I need to setup from 0 this kind of listings?

We have 3 options for mobile versions that you can use:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. Edit the page with TagDiv Composer. Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.
2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages
3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and design for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. If you need to use the mobile version 1 or 2, then you need to disable the Mobile Theme plugin.

You need to create normal pages for each directory page, a signup page, a submission form, etc.
Create the page by accessing Dashboard -> Pages -> Create New Page -> Edit with the TagDiv Composer. On that page you can add our shortcodes presented in our documentation.
Our shortcodes have some dropdowns from where you can select your CPTs from your directory or you can display some custom fields made with the ACF plugin.
Submission form: You can add it in the section “My account,” which users will have access to, or anywhere you like. Also, you don’t need to create pages, and you can add the shortcodes you want on the homepage, for example. The posts or CPTs can be displayed with the help of this element: https://forum.tagdiv.com/use-posts-lists-shortcode/
The opt-in builder should be implemented on your website to create plans for your users, lockers for your articles, etc. Documentation is available here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/lockers/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/subscriptions/
In those elements presented above, you need to add your already created plans from the Opt-in builder plugin.
Unfortunately, you can’t set a character limit on descriptions for listings.
Every new demo with CPTs has a plugin with the style of flex blocks, so you need to have it installed in order to have the custom style of flex blocks with CPTs and custom fields included.

please help me solve an issue: I have Newspaper theme on the website https://parenting20.ro/ and I use Mobile theme for mobile. Google Ads are running ok, but I cannot place any custom ads on the mobile theme. There is no option for an image ad. I tried to ad a code like this in the General Ads section of Mobile Theme section:
But it isnt working. Neither in Article Ads section. Please help me understand what I do wrong and how to solve the problem so the custom ad could appear on the mobile version of the theme?

You can not use it with the TagDiv Composer because it is an old module that displays a post or article. For example, if you set a post page here: https://prnt.sc/Quv94d0vZJ1k It will display the module 15. Module 15 is not a block like a flex block!

I installed the theme to my website & imported default demo without content since I already had content. When I load my homepage and click “Edit with Tagdiv composer” the program goes to the screen & shows the loading icon and produces a blank screen with no website preview to edit.
I looked at all the guides and it doesn’t work for me the way it does in the videos. The screen keeps loading as blank.
Hi, just installed the Blank CTP Cloud Template. All fine. Now, in the theme panel->CPT & Taxonomy, all the fields are prefilled (Submissions, Posts, Form Responses, Ads etc). Where did the pre-filled values come from and more importantly how do I change them? Thanks.

Everytime a client buys a course he gets registered in wordpress with the “Customer” role.
If I search in Google for a customer name, for example, “Claudia Sofia A M Cruz, there is always an author page result:

inspite of the wordpress user profile not having “Author” role. We have deleted the blocks from this template, but google still indexes the page. In Europe this is a violation of GDPR law…
How can we prevent this page from being created at all? There is no place in Theme Panel to disable author template.

If you used the tagDiv Analyzer tool, then please use FTP, cPanel, or File manager and remove the generated files from this path wp-content/td_cache (sample delete all files from inside the td_cache). Normally the cache should apply only when the analyzer displays a green bullet.
On Cloudflare settings, a developer just tested the mentioned settings from this guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/ and using those settings there were no problems, we hope that he will also test Cloudflare APO in the following days.
About the litepseed and Guest Mode, as we have already discussed, it is an untested plugin and has many options that can interfere with the theme, if you want to use it is your choice, only that we cannot help with the options that must be set, mostly css and javascript options it interferes with the theme.
As for the “warnings” it is happening on Newspaper v12.1? if yes, can you please actually let us know what is that warning? In the screenshot, we see only the files but not the working message.

If the ads are still cut a little bit, I recommend setting the ad dimension smaller for example if it is 480px please set it to 360 and see if it is fully displayed, also setting the left and right margins to auto should center the ad.

updating the site https://www.praxis-schuchbernard.com via the WordPress Dashboard doesn’t work. I am using 11.4.3 and wanted to update to 12.1 – whenever I click “Install update” I see the window “Update Theme & Plugin” where I get asked if I want to continue. I click “update” – and come to the WordPress-update-site where nothing happens.
I also tried it with the Newspaper Time Machine – same thing.
I know I can update via FTP, but I really want to do it via WordPress directly as it is far easier for me…
