Hi,
I use a plugin name “restrict content pro” in 2 sites and everything works fine.
But with your theme it break the single post design.
I use cloud templates for single post and i think thats the reason for dont work.
If i use default wordpress single post template it works.

We used Quote Block Right a lot on our site.
The look was a font in little for example 10p as it looks in admin.
But till the update to the new TagDiv composer, the text are huge and center instead of left align ! 🙁

Thank you @pesareiran & Anamaria. The Standard pack sorted my issues. I am concerned when you say “we encourage you not to activate and install this plugin”. Are you saying my site will be slow and heavy?? But if I don’t use the plugin then my site isn’t working. What do you suggest?

Please check what elements you are using, as they may be from tagDiv Standard Pack, for example, header/footer style from Theme Panel => https://i.imgur.com/cQUf58B.png -> https://i.imgur.com/6tk9Sh0.png or Block 1-25, Big grid, brig grid full, and if the plugin is deactivated the blocks will become shortcodes and the style will change.
So, please make sure you have the tagDiv Standard pack updated and activated, the tagDiv Standard pack “is a legacy plugin, that comes with functionality for previous versions of the Newspaper theme, older than version 10. Unfortunately, AMP is faster and works better only with Mobile Theme, because it is not compatible with cloud templates.
From my point of view, if you don’t use the Mobile Theme plugin, then there is no reason or benefit from AMP.

If you have the mobile theme and AMP plugins activate, then your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited, this keeps the things simple).

I need to place a optin short code in each sub category post
but for each subcategory the optin code (short code) is different
due to the different sub categories and email subscribers opting in to different email lists..

I’ve created my website using the Gossip Pro theme.
It works fine when I’m viewing on my desktop.
When I look at it on mobile, it’s a mess.
I have three issues.
Could you please address each one.
1. Mobile version of home page is not loading.
I’ve created a mobile version of the home page on my desktop.
When I view this page on my mobile phone, a different page entirely appears.
It shows my posts but nothing else.
The logo says “Newspaper discover the art of…’, the footer is wrong, colors are off, etc.
I have the mobile theme and AMP plugins both installed and activated.
How do I get the home page to load on mobile?
2. Header and footers not working.
When I try to edit the header and footer of the mobile page on the desktop I get a message saying ‘this type of header is not editable with Tag Div composer. Please use a cloud template.’ Same with the footer. When I try to install a template, there are none available for Gossip.
How do I use the header and footer from the original home page?
3. Big Grid Flex 5
I’m using Big Grid Flex 5 on my homepage.
On the mobile home page (viewed on desktop) the three smaller images line up horizontally, creating a scroll bar to drag across.
Is it possible to configure Big Grid Flex 5 so that the smaller images line up vertically, or do I need to use another element?
Your help would be appreciated, this is very urgent.

Hi. Thanks for your previous response.
The video tutorial you shared only mentions about single post type cloud template.
Issue I am facing is that there is no availability of a cloud template type for displaying a ‘Post Series’ page.
And since there is no cloud template for it, even when I try to view a particular Post Series, it gives a 404 error instead of displaying the posts in that series.

I can not access your screenshots.
For example, add a flex block in a post go to the filter tab of the element’s settings and from the dropdown category filter you can choose between: Single – More from author, Single – Related by category, Single – Related from tags.
So, for example Related from tags is displaying articles/posts which have the same tags as the article you are currently viewing. Also, you can set Related and sort it as Random for example.
Please note that you should place that flex block in a post template to have effect.
If you do not mean this, then please provide more information about your issue and your website link.

Usually, this problem is due to the cache plugin you are using, because even if you have disabled it, it can run for a while in the backend, for example, object cache, because it creates a folder and delivers the same version for some time (it may differ from one plugin to another).
It is also advisable to check the server to see if you have installed a cache plugin there and to delete the cache (purge) also, delete the cache from the browser and check if this problem is still present.
Also, please let me know what settings you made and did not apply.
Again, if the issue was resolved after a while it is because the time when the cache delivered the old version has expired, and after it has been updated, it has cached the new version of the website.

upgraded about 6 hours ago from 11.2 to 11.3.
serious problems:
1. can’t customize footer to what it was with my own brand; now tagdiv brand
2. my header had a red background with white text title and tagline
3. top menu does not appear

I have spent 6 hours trouble shooting; PLEASE HELP!

P.S. I have a local backup of site running using MAMP PRO and Duplicator. The Duplicator backup is over a 9 days old. Too much has happened since then, so I can’t restore. But, I can compare and see much missing in 11.3 version: like no footers whatsoever in Newspaper Theme panel. In 11.2 I have choices like Footer settings; Instagram settings; footer info content; foot background; and Sub footer settings.

While editing row & column css, especially in margin & padding then click on another element error appears this
The margin & padding also returned to an empty value.
I tried editing my footer since it has copyright and then my site name and I saw that copyright symbol has a code for it like this:

Hi, thanks for the reply. I don’t think I did anything wrong, as I always update things when I receive a message to do that. As an editor I would challenge you that the tech should be better than this. There shouldn’t be so much pressure put on the user. Does an airline expect a passenger to fly a jet?
I seem to have ‘a version’ of my site back now, but what the newspaper update did was to make me lose all my previous settings and look and feel.

It’s becoming quite an ordeal every time we need to update your template it causes us to lose an entire day – in this case more – in productivity, which I don’t see anyone at your company stepping forward to address or offer us some kind of compensation for the endless trouble.
We’re hard working decent people and we love supporting those who make our lives better and easier. At the moment your brand falls way short of that I’m afraid. In the end we will simply just give up and go somewhere else never to return.
