I was using a Genesis child theme on one of my wordpress sites. In all the posts I had inserted one image at the beginning of each post using wordpress “Add Media” option. I had also selected the same image using “Featured Image” option. The Genesis child theme showed the image once only at the beginning of the posts.
A few days back I switched to Newspaper theme on this site. Same image started appearing twice at the beginning of every post. One way to resolve this was to delete the image added through the “Add Media” option. As this was a time consuming process, so I selected the template # 5 under the Pose Settings. This solved the problems and the images are now appearing once only on desk top & as well as mobile. So far no issue. Every thing Ok.
Now I want to use mobile theme for mobile devices. But the same image appears twice at the beginning of each post in the mobile devices.
Can you please suggest any other way to resolve this issue.

If you don’t have mobile theme or amp then your Website runs on the responsive type of the theme. That view counter is the one from desktop version. Please make sure to clear your cache.

Unfortunately for the moment only the mobile theme plugin can be use as a template for amp, maybe clouds templates will be implement in the coming updates.

Hi Guys, We are very happy with the theme. And our problem now is: A few days ago the visitor counter stopped counting visits from mobile users. We dont have mobile theme or AMP activated.

I solved the mobile navigation problem :-). But it would be great if the cloud templates for AMP sites are on the roadmap? 😀

OK, the mobile pages are then transmitted a bit slower. Now there are other problems, for example there is no navigation anymore. In the Theme Panel, under Mobile Theme, I selected the navigation in the header area and before that the navigation was also shown.

The only template for amp is the one from mobile theme plugin, cloud templates can not be use per amp templates, you can use to use the mobile theme plugin only for amp using this option -> https://i.imgur.com/bXjeltB.png

If you are using mobile theme with amp, you can use a code for amp auto ads, this need to be set where Vlad indicate in that screenshot, (the amp auto ads need to be set only once and this will adapt after your post content, for example in a long post content will be display more amp auto ads, this kind of ads cannot be control by the user).

I hope you are all well.
All the pages I have on the website, except for the home page result in 404 Error.
Also, I would like to add some new pages to the website, but it gives me the following issues.
1- When I want to add content to it via tagDiv editor it is not adding the content.
2- The published page, even if a blank one, it gives the following error:
“Sorry, this page doesn’t exist. Please check the URL or go back a page.

i want to set a category-slug just for one category.
All other categories should be hidden.
For example:
– i have 3 categories: /news/, /animals/, /sport/
– posts with category /news/, sould be shown like these: domain.de/news/post-title/
– posts with another category (e.g. /animals/ oder /sport/, should be shown like these: domain.de/post-title/.
Is there any way to do these?
Also, I do not know how to edit a post, not the all of them. For example I wont to set a themplate just for an article, how?

Before removing Newspaper theme, I’ve tried a completed reinstall of WordPress and used a new instance for the same. I’ve followed https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ as well before installing the theme. So this completely bare-bone installation with no extra plugins attached also experienced the same issue.
What I concluded from the behaviour is, too much load is pushed back to WordPress host when a slight change is made. So for example when I try to edit the header, for each keystroke a lot of things are happening behind.
An suggestion from my side is to have a button to disable this live reload and only the UI should be rendered when save button is pressed. Don’t know whether this option is already there or is this the exact reason behind.
Regarding the support, I’ve noticed the time frame already before starting this thread. What I noticed is replies where given to another posts which came past this post. So, there might moderators need some time to get back for particluar issues that’s acceptable if a reply is posted like “We’ll get back to you soon” in the thread meanwhile.
Anyhow I’m moving from this theme due to CPU bottleneck I experienced but it’s a wonderful theme. Thanks, appreciate your time. 🙂

The background image can be blurry when the image is smaller and need to be stretch or when you have set a smaller thumb for that image, make sure that you set the full size for the image that you have set as background, for example-> https://i.imgur.com/UVlTXgy.jpg

If this is still not working go in Newspaper> System status and replace the url from: -> https://i.imgur.com/WlRnszw.png
