Hi,
By default all the elements from the composer are responsive, meaning they adapt to display correctly on all these viewports -> https://prnt.sc/QnpXl1VFmOC_
If maybe you set fixed widths for rows or columns or other elements, for example -> https://prnt.sc/ULfoy2IdrjSl then those widths are inherited by default by all the other viewports. So while it may look good on desktop, it will probably not look good on smaller devices. That’s why it can be adjusted per viewport, you can for example set a different smaller width on tablet -> https://prnt.sc/WmDFYsPu8nmK It depends.
If I could see the page I can could inspect it with the browser inspector and see why it displays like that. Could you provide a link? Or if maybe the website is private, you can send a link by email at contact@tagdiv.com also maybe provide admin login so I can check the page directly in the composer.
Thank you!
Hi i have create a page and published on my mac (all previous website was created used a windows platform, this is the only difference i have now).
I published the following article https://www.israele360.com/ben-gvir-al-centro-delle-polemiche/ and not seeing the tagadv as well as the modules of single page post. If you go to any other article, for example https://www.israele360.com/hezbollah-tra-israele-e-libano-cosa-sta-succedendo/ everything looks fine. I see the tag adv composer, as well as the structure of the single page.
How can i fix this ?
thx
Hello tagDiv Support,
I am experiencing a responsive layout issue with the Newspaper Theme / tagDiv Composer on mobile devices.
Problem description:
On the second/narrower mobile viewport, the entire layout suddenly behaves as if the desktop width is still active. Rows, columns and content containers expand to desktop width instead of adapting to the smaller mobile viewport.
Important details:
* The issue only appears on the narrower mobile viewport.
* Desktop and larger mobile/tablet viewports work correctly.
* The problem affects the entire viewport width, not just a single element.
* I already checked common responsive settings and cleared caches.
* The problem persists even after removing several header elements.
* The affected pages are built with tagDiv Composer and Cloud Templates.
* I suspect either:
* corrupted viewport-specific Composer settings,
* a responsive inheritance problem,
* Stretch Row / fixed-width settings not resetting correctly,
* or a known issue related to the lower mobile viewport.
Additional observations:
* I found references in your changelog mentioning fixes related to:
* responsive checkbox behavior on lower viewports,
* sticky columns on mobile,
* viewport-specific layout issues.
Questions:
1. Are there known issues in recent Newspaper versions related to the second mobile viewport?
2. Is there a known bug where desktop width settings persist on smaller mobile breakpoints?
3. Could this be related to:
* Stretch Row,
* Sticky Columns,
* Cloud Header templates,
* Mobile Theme plugin,
* or Composer viewport inheritance?
4. Is there a recommended way to fully reset viewport-specific Composer settings for rows/columns?
Environment:
* WordPress
* Newspaper Theme
* tagDiv Composer
* Cloud Templates enabled
* Classic Editor
* Responsive mode (not AMP)
Thank you.

Hi,
I see you are using Newspaper, not Newsmag.
I will explain how it works with Newspaper.
So first you must create a mega-menu, by selecting a parent category on a menu item. So not by creating sub-menus like on your screenshot.
For example I am selecting a parent category, which has a few sub-categories -> https://prnt.sc/IjT_D3ZXRCOQ
The resulting mega-menu displays like this by default -> https://prnt.sc/PEYM7KxzX5lv with the sub-categories on the left.
But with this option I can make the sub-categories display inline, below the posts -> https://prnt.sc/K4ISv2XoHxb7
That’s it basically. So it’s not based on sub-menus like in your example, it’s based on using a parent category which has sub-categories.
Please give it a try. Let me know if you have more questions.
Thank you!
That notification mentions the date/time when it will be possible to move the key to a different website. So for example if you don’t want to use the theme anymore on your current website, and you have a new website, the key can be moved there. This can be done either when the time delay expires, or if it’s urgent we can move the key manually.
The reason why we added a time delay before a key can be moved, is because we had quite a few cases of license abuse. So unfortunately we were forced to add it.
If there’s something I can help with let me know.
Thank you!
My site is indakno.com. In the mobile menu, the page Submit Story does not populate. Also the pages at the bottom dont show up like the rest of the mobile site. I am set to mobile only. Not mobile+AMP.
Hi,
Instead of using a header menu in the mobile header, you could use the intended mobile menu directly https://prnt.sc/mGVbj30dW1bE
Or, since I see you created a page to display that menu, you could use a popup and set the page in it https://prnt.sc/iyxc5FM6gfDa
For example if you check this demo on mobile, the mobile menu is a popup which opens a page https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_urban_observer_pro/
More about the popup element here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/modal-popup/
Either of these would be a good solution for a mobile menu. Please give the a try. Let me know if you have questions.
Thank you!
Hi,
So the main part of the problem is solved, the feed from your website contains the images now. I would have suggested the same solution, either with a code or with a plugin.
But I’m not sure about the caption of the image. First you should ask them if they are willing to display it, or if they can display it.
If they are, then it could be included in the feed. But either with a code or with a plugin. This plugin for example https://wordpress.org/plugins/rss-chimp/ specifies that it includes the image and also the title and description of the image https://prnt.sc/MyQOvM3RxNbC If it does that, then you could replace your current solution with this one.
Thank you!

Hello,
I am experiencing an issue on my website. The product images appear blurry in the product gallery for all products. However, when I hover over or click on an image, it displays correctly in full quality.
It seems that all images are initially rendered in a blurry state within the gallery view.
Here is an example product page:
or this one: https://leather-templates.com/product/free-leather-belt-pattern-v01-pdf-step-by-step-diy-video/
image with issue:

Could you please offer your help to solve this?
Is there are any settings I should check in order to ensure that the gallery images load in full clarity?

Hi,
That’s the header template from our Amsonia demo https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_amsonia_pro/amsonia-header-template/?
I imported just the header https://prnt.sc/5JAf2N9YbZYa and it looks like this https://prnt.sc/2W712fCrNMx4
The header requires the opt-in plugin to be active https://prnt.sc/1AUZY0w1_E74 in order to display the login element in the menu https://prnt.sc/1agvRvzrlAjm
And it also requires setting a page for the menu popup, for example https://prnt.sc/A056qQljOam_
But other than this the header should display exactly like in the live demo. How does it look when you import it? If you can provide a link to where you are using this header and there are problems, I will check it. Or if you prefer you can send us email with the link at contact@tagdiv.com
Thank you!
Hi,
The main problem I see in the screenshots is missing plugins. That code which is seen on the website means that not all of the required theme plugins are active. Please activate these two plugins -> https://prnt.sc/TIVt4rbHY3Fz So the cloud library and the standard pack. The composer is a base plugin, and these two are extensions of it. After activating them the website should display correctly.
Concerning not being able to edit posts with the composer, this was always the case. The composer is not for building the actual post content, it’s for building the post template, which is what displays the post. These for example are the post templates and they are all built with the composer -> https://cloud.tagdiv.com/#/load/Single So you write the posts normally, within wordpress -> add new post. Then the post template displays it. And you can customize the post template with the composer from here for example -> https://prnt.sc/ODsOaezSimRe
Please let me know if I can help more.
Thank you!
Hello,
I am having a similar problem with TagDiv Composer.
I am using Firefox 15.0.3, or Avast Secure Browser 147.3.34541.118, WordPress 6.9.4, and PHP 8.2.31.
I have the same problem with Newspaper 12.7.3 or 12.7.6
In my list of pages, when I hover over a page title on All Pages, I have the option to “Edit with TagDiv Composer.” In the list of All posts, when I hover over the post name, I only have “Edit,” not “Edit with TagDiv Composer.”
To see examples of the problems, Newspaper Status, please use this link https://www.tomfakler.com/Clients/AnitasFeastcom/i-kjV2fnD
Your assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Hello tagDiv Support,
We are currently migrating a large regional news platform to Cloud Templates and are running into a query/filtering limitation that we are unsure how to solve correctly within Newspaper / tagDiv Composer.
Our setup is somewhat unusual, so I will explain it carefully.
Current Site Structure
We operate a Dutch regional news platform with approximately 57 regional categories.
Examples:
Regio Gouda
Regio Rotterdam
Regio Drechtsteden
etc.
Articles are intentionally assigned to multiple categories simultaneously.
Example article structure:
Regio Gouda
Zuid-Holland Province Category
Sometimes Binnenland (National)
Sometimes another regional umbrella category
This multi-category structure is required editorially and for SEO/distribution purposes.
What We Are Trying To Achieve
We want to replace static regional landing pages with dynamic category archive pages using Cloud Templates.
Example:
Instead of:
https://regioonline.nl/regio-gouda/
We want to use:
https://regioonline.nl/category/regio-gouda/
with a Cloud Template assigned to the category.
The goal is:
show posts from the current region
ALSO show related province-level content
BUT still prioritize/display correct regional content
WITHOUT manually configuring 57 static pages
The Problem
Inside Flex Blocks / Big Grid Flex blocks, the queries behave differently between:
Static pages using manual “Multiple Terms Filter”
Dynamic category archive pages using Cloud Templates
Example:
On the static page:
the block correctly shows a Zuid-Holland province article
But on the Cloud Template category archive:
the same block instead shows another regional article
Even though both posts contain overlapping categories.
Important Technical Detail
We discovered that:
category_ids behaves differently from normal category archives
category__in and internal TagDiv query handling appear to override or merge unexpectedly
multi-category posts are handled differently inside Cloud Templates versus static pages
While inspecting the theme code, we also noticed references to _current_cat handling internally in td_block.php, but we could not find official documentation about whether this value is actually supported for Flex/Grid block filtering in Cloud Templates.
We also tested custom filters through:
td_shortcode_to_args
td_data_source_blocks_query_args
inside the child theme.
However, this caused unstable or inconsistent behavior, especially with:
Big Grid Flex blocks
Flex blocks
mixed category/province logic
We reverted these changes because we do not want to maintain custom query modifications that could break after theme updates.
Our Main Question
Is there an officially supported way in Newspaper / tagDiv Composer to achieve the following:
For a category Cloud Template:
dynamically use the CURRENT category
include additional province categories
optionally exclude national categories
while preserving predictable ordering and matching behavior in Flex/Grid blocks
WITHOUT custom core edits.
Example desired logic for “Regio Gouda”:
Include:
current category (Regio Gouda)
province category (Zuid-Holland)
national regional pool category
Exclude:
Binnenland
And this should work dynamically for all regional categories.
Additional Question
Does Newspaper internally prioritize:
category_ids
category__in
queried object
tax_query
current archive context
in a specific order inside Flex Blocks / Big Grid Flex blocks?
Because it appears that archive context may override manually configured multiple term filters.
Final Question
Would you recommend:
using Cloud Templates for this setup
OR
keeping static regional landing pages
given this multi-category architecture?
We would really appreciate technical guidance or best practices from your side before rebuilding all regional pages again.
Thank you very much.

There are also other methods that can be used. For example, you could create a single post template and apply it only to a specific category, so that all articles within that category use the same template. In this case, the content locker would be added directly to the template instead of being configured individually on each article.
However, in my opinion, the first option with the partial locker would be better, faster, and easier to use.
Hi,
“If I choose a smaller featured image size in the mobile template (for example, 696px or 1068px), will the theme still generate the full srcset, including the larger versions (1200px+, 1600px, 1920px), as long as the originally uploaded image is large enough?”
– as long as the thumbnail generation is enabled in the Theme Panel, it will be created automatically https://prnt.sc/I-hMNqYa2rj-
“Does selecting a smaller display size in the mobile template limit the largest image included in the srcset, or will the theme always include the full-size variants if they exist?”
– to ensure the image is at least 1200px wide, please use the 1920×0 size option. This will load the full-size image if it is under 1920px in width, or generate a 1920px thumbnail if the original image is larger, and use that version for the source.
Hi,
This can be done using the copy-paste method. For example, if you want to copy a header, edit it, hover over the three dots, and click Edit: https://i.imgur.com/FUHR4iN.png
If you only need the Cloud Templates and want to import everything related to them, the best solution is to use the WordPress Import/Export tool and export only the Cloud Templates.
Thank you!
Hi,
Yes, you can edit the mobile header. For this, please use tagDiv Composer and edit the homepage.
Once opened, select any element on the page and switch to the mobile viewport. From there, you can customize the header elements such as the logo, menu, and search icon colors. You can also modify the row that contains these elements for example, setting the background color to white and adjusting the menu and search icons to black – https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-manager/

Hello,
I am experiencing the “Layout sync error” (The editor expects 6 zones but the page is rendering 0) when trying to use tagDiv Composer on my homepage.
My hosting provider has already increased the server limits to meet your requirements, but the issue persists. Here is my current System Status:
PHP Version: 8.2
WP Memory Limit: 512M
PHP Max Input Vars: 5000 (Set in Plesk)
Max Execution Time: 300
Upload Max Filesize: 64M
Troubleshooting already done:
ModSecurity has been disabled.
AMP plugin is deactivated.
I tried creating a new page with “Page Builder Root” template, but the error remains.
Permalinks have been resaved.
Browser cache and theme CSS cache have been cleared.
Could you please help me identify what is blocking the editor from synchronizing the zones?
Thank you in advance.
Hi, thank you for the clarification.
Yes — I’m referring to the Single Post Mobile Template created in tagDiv Composer, not the old Mobile Theme plugin.
If I choose a smaller featured image size in the mobile template (for example 696px or 1068px), will the theme still generate the full srcset, including the larger versions (1200px+, 1600px, 1920px), as long as the originally uploaded image is large enough?
This is important because Google Discover requires the mobile HTML to expose an image of at least 1200px in the srcset, not only in the desktop template.
So my question is:
Does selecting a smaller display size in the mobile template limit the largest image included in the srcset, or will the theme always include the full-size variants if they exist?
Thanks again for your help.
I would like to know that how is it possible to edit the following heading and banner in mobile view. I tried in the cloud template option, but there it has no option for editing the mobile header and footer. Please refer the pics for your reference. My website is http://www.editnews.in
And how can I make the mobile menu floating. Please help on the same

Hi,
I’m glad to hear you managed to set it up.
1. We do have documentation explaining how to configure it and how the functionality works. However, I would also like to highlight a few important points first. AMP is no longer essential and does not deliver the same benefits it did 4–5 years ago, as adoption and usage have significantly declined. In addition, the tagDiv Mobile Theme plugin is generally recommended only for blog-focused websites, since the customization and styling capabilities are quite limited. If your goal is to maintain the same layout and content experience on both desktop and mobile, there is no need for an additional plugin, as the theme already includes a fully responsive mobile version by default.

https://prnt.sc/-9iPv9hOZPNm
2. Yes, it is possible to create separate subscription plans with access to different types of content, depending on the settings applied to each article. For example, you can create a free plan that unlocks selected articles simply by requiring the user’s email address, as well as premium plans that provide access to paid content after a successful payment.
Thank you!
Perfect, I was able to do it and I like how it looks. Thank you!
Can you help me with two more things?
1- Mobile Theme
– I’ve tried several times to configure Tagdiv Mobile Theme and Official AMP for WordPress, but I haven’t been able to get it working. I activate them, but I don’t know how to configure them.
2- Lockers
– Is there a way for free posts with the Email Locker and membership posts with the Subscription Locker to show a summary of the content without blocking the full content?
Or, is there a way to restrict free content, so that visitors can only see a certain number of free posts after reaching a certain number of free posts viewed through the Lockers?
Screenshot of my locker:

Thanks!
The weather widget shows temperatures right now for the 5-day weather forecast. It would be better if general weather icons were displayed in place of the temperatures.
For example, for the the current temperature, there’s an icon displayed to the left of it. An icon like that should be displayed for the 5-day weather forecast.
Most weather widgets you see on the internet do that.
