Hi,
yesterday I bought this new fantastic theme (Newspaper 9) and I’m still configuring it right now.
One problem I have is the one written in the title: when I visit my site (www.ranierisdesk.com) images will not load correctly. Sometimes the thumbnails are missing but not the ones in the slider, sometime the opposite.
In the old theme I used Smush. I disable it and unistalled. Cleared the cache from cloudflare (I don’t use anyalse plugin to generate the cache) and I installed and used the plugin “Regenerate Thumbnails”. Nothing changed.
Maybe is some plugin I have installed that is uncompatible?

This message is intended for Newspaper buyers. As a client I asked the support about whether there was an option to incorporate more ADS into the articles.
Newspaper only allows 1 ad within the post (only 1) and I would like to know if you would like Newspaper to allow more.
For example, you can a ADS in post after paragraph 1 or 2 or 3 but you can not choose multiple options like 1 ads after paragraph 1 + 1 ads after paragraph 2 …
Would you like to be featured in the next versions of Newspaper?
Send an email to the customer service requesting a request to add feature to have multiple options by putting several content within a content 🙂

Do i have to use a specific tamplate first, such as “page builer + empty page”?

Then a default placeholder will be shown at all times in the modules, regardless of desktop or mobile

These placeholder images will substitute the missing featured image. Disabling the placeholders will have these effects on the mobile top grid module for example.
The module will not be visible, so basically if a post has no featured image and the placeholder is disabled, it will not be shown in the top grid. The other mobile module will look like this

Featured images or videos are essential in the theme, they will represent the post in the theme modules which form grids and blocks

Hi,
we have added an extra custom field to the metadata, “coauteurs”.
While we can get it to display in the meta field, right under the title nexto where author and date are,
we really want to add the co authors to the main author. at the moment we only are able to place the additional authors to the back, so you get “author” “date” “coauthors”.
We would prefer it to be “author” “coauthors” “date”.
What would be the best way to proceed ?
Simply adding the extra code in the middle doesn’t help.

Image boxes have settings in the composer sidebar, accesed when you click anywhere on it

How exactly was that page built initially? Can you try to create a new page and place an image box there, see if it works.
In order to avoid any problems, all the content of a page has to be added in the tagDiv composer only. Editing pages built with WPBakery for example, or with content added with the WordPress editor, could create problems.

Recently we started a web (https://www.optimoda.es/) with Newspaper theme and for the managment of banners we install the AdRotate Pro plugin.
AdRotate Pro has the possibility of discriminating banners according to support (mobile phone or computer)
From the same banner I have two sizes, one for computer and another for mobile phone. For example, for a banner of 1068 x 275 pixels on the computer, for the mobile I have one of 300 x 500 pixels.
The problem occurs when the mobile phone does not show the full size of the banner. Only part of the banner appears. As if the container box did not adapt well.
In said container contains a shortcode referring to the group of banners.
I hope you can help me solve this problem!

Hi,
If you are referring to pages, note that only pages built with the default WordPress editor will work with AMP. Not pages built with the composer.
If you are referring to posts, the sidebar of the post will not display on AMP. Same as the mobile theme. The post content will be displayed. AMP is all about speed, getting to the content you are looking for.
What video are you referring to exactly? if the post is a video post and it has a featured video it will be displayed in AMP

Then regardless of setting a featured video or featured image, the modules where the post appears will display a play icon.
So for example a post with video format and a featured image will show the play icon in modules

The purpose for the play icon is to let website visitors now that the post contains a video, that would be all.

The setting was integrated with the theme panel.
As for the problem you mention, we did not encounter it, or has it been mentioned in the forum as far as I know. Do other settings in the theme panel reset as well?
Once saving in the panel, everything is saved in the database, so maybe this could be related to database problems.

Adding something before or after that code should display it in the posts that use that post template.
Hello, I have my current website on czechmag.cz and I want to redo a design. I would like to keep the web running before making any official changes, so I thought maybe the best choice would be to make a subdomain test.czechmag.cz for example and prepare everything there. This may prevent theme panel colors from applying. All the demos contain customization, more or less. You can modify the demo stylesheet if needed, then make a backup of it.
What colors are you referring to exactly? For example the header menu underline is made transparent in the demo here

This header customization is linked to a specific header style most of the time. As long as header style 1 is used the demo modifications will apply for the header.

Post titles are per template used (with a general font setting if needed)

Inspecting one of your posts, I see the default Open sans font is used for post paragraphs. It should change once you use the setting I mentioned.

Hi,
The child theme is for theme files, you can’t modify plugin files in the child theme. The modifications you want to make will have to be made in the main plugin files.
Once made maybe back up the file from the plugin, replace the new one after a update with this modified file.
Be sure to test if that plugin is compatible with AMP first, it could cause validation problems.

Hi all, I accidentally deactivated the tagdiv AMP plugin but after 2 minutes activated it back. But now I found 404 page instead of AMP pages.

I don’t understand what’s actually happened..
Our site is about interior design and decor DIY (https://wordofdecor.com) and it means that one post can include up to 100 images. So, if all Newspaper thumbnails are switched on I have up to 1900 inodes for one article.
I carefully investigated TagDiv forum about this problem:

Ok, I’ve looked up all blocks that I use and found out that only 7 thumbnails could be excluded. So, we stay with 1200 inodes for one article. Currently I’m able to create 100-250 articles and my hosting inodes limit will be totally out – http://take.ms/Xv7fq
Concerning advice about Cpannel: do you imagine how much time will it take me to delete not used thumbnails from 100 photos? It’s not funny, really – http://take.ms/d0LhBM
Do you plan to do something with this problem?
For example, to create block thumbnails only for featured photo. It’s obvious. What is the barrier to implement such improvement?
