Please check below this is what google speed test tells about the loading of website. Please give a solution to the issue. I have minimal elements on the site but still this is the result. And by the way i am using W3total cache plugin as my host doesn’t recommend Super Cache plugin which you recommend and i have total 6 plugins installed including “WPBakery Visual Composer”.

Our site is just set live on this theme. We like the look, but are trying to work through some of the kinks. One issue we are having is that when I log in it prompts us to activate Visual Composer. I have followed the various discussions and instructions on the forums, but nothing seems to work. It still wants me to pay for a license. It sends me to a page with the text below. How can we resolve this?

NO LICENSES FOUND

It seems that you do not have any valid license for Visual Composer. What does it mean? It may be so that you got Visual Composer by purchasing WordPress theme which does not grant you with direct license for Visual Composer. Why do I need direct license? Direct product license unlocks several benefits:

Access official customer support
(otherwise managed by your theme author)
Update Visual Composer directly
Use Visual Composer with any theme
(not just the one you got it with)
Manage your licenses at Client Portal

If you have just purchased a direct license for Visual Composer and do not see your license in available license list take into account that sometimes it can take up to 30 minutes while Envato provides us with new licenses. If there is still no license available, please logout of support.wpbakery.com and log in again via the CodeCanyon account and re-try the activation. If there are still problems, contact us via our CodeCanyon profile and share your item purchase code along with the WordPress login details, so that we can investigate the issue further.

My Visual Composer stopped working, how do I fix this. I even purchased a Visual Composer License but I don’t think thats the problem. I emailed support for WPbakery this was the conversation.

“The issue is because you are using an older version of visual composer and should update it to the latest version which is 4.12.1. You need to deactivate and delete the older version of the plugin from theme and then install the standalone version which is purchased by you. However, I would also suggest you to re-confirm the same with the theme author before proceeding, because if he has done any changes to the core plugin files, then they will be lost during this process which in-turn can affect the content and layout at your end.”

Perhaps it could help suppress the “Hola! License / update your copy of VC!” alerts for those of us who want to trust tagDiv’s update schedule for VC, but also don’t want those messages.

If not, this is a request to be made to WPBakery… but last I checked, you need an actual licence to file support tickets :p

My theme keep telling me I have to update WPBakery Visual Composer 4.12 to 4.12.1.
What do you reccomend to do?

I like your theme, thanks for making a nice, customizable website. But I can’t seem to be able to make the header & footer display properly. I would like to have the green color extend all the way to the left and right, but as you can see from these images it stops:

Secondly, there seems to be some duplication of the twitter option at the bottom of each post. How can I remove the twitter button on the right of the below image?

Hi there

I’m using the newspaper theme for the site mjr.jour.umt.edu. This website was built by others and I’m merely taking it over and I have pretty basic WP experience.

I’ve updated the Newspaper theme, WordPress, and all of my plugins, however, the visual composer does not work properly. When viewing a page with content on it or attempting to create a new page, the actual interactive window where you insert elements does not load. Here is a screenshot of the interface of a page loaded with content.

My visual composer plugin is at version 4.7.4. Do I need to update this further to get it working again? I was following the protocol here, but I’m not sure where to get the visual composer update folder.

Any suggestions as to how to get visual composer working? Thanks!

Hello, anything I do, that menu stays like that. sometimes it works just fine, but sometimes I have to F5 the page to get rod of the menu… Is the default settings, no settings imported via demos. Plugins installed: Askimet, Photo Box, Shield, Shortcodes Ultimate, tagDiv Speed Booster,
WPBakery Visual Composer (which sreams for update for a long time btw), and Yoast SEO.

I followed the instructions for updating visual composer. Now my home page is not loading but the rest of the categories and individual posts are displaying fine.

I first deactivated and deleted the WPBakery visual composer then uploaded the new version from the plugins folder (zip file JS composer).

Any advice on how to fix this?

Hi I’ve got an issue with the newspaper theme, I purchased a couple of days ago hosted it with godaddy and have been working on it for the last two days solid all within the WP dashboard only for this afternoon to start getting the white screen of death on certain pages then the same on the backend editor. Contacted Godaddy who ran some test for over an hour for them to come back with error messages relating to the theme and wpbakery plugin. Again this is strange to me as I have downloaded no plugins and only been making posts for this to happen two days in. I have asked godaddy to send me more information regarding this but they are adamant it is the theme. As such can I please ask you for a refund as I am on a very tight deadline and need to move on with another theme. I apologise as I’ve never asked for a refund before but given the deadline I’m on I can’t wait for resolutions. My Visual composer said that “There is a new version of WPBakery Visual Composer available. View version 4.12.1 details. Automatic update is unavailable for this plugin. I’m having trouble updating add-ons not updated

I hope you’re having a great day. I haven’t requested support in quite a while, so I hope you can help me figure out what is happening with my site.

I’ve updated my theme but my thumbnails and background images are not showing up. What is the best way to find out what specifically is causing this conflict. I know that a plugin I am using is causing the conflict, but how can I use Firefly or Developer Tools (Google) to identify the exact issue?

I am using the same plugin on another site: Awesometalks.org and I am not having the same issue

Today I’ve update my theme to 7.4, How about WPBakery Visual Composer? There is an update available but can’t install it because it’s not licensed?
