I found a bug in new theme. If visit my page thehickers.ro will see near Karst block that my social counter isn’t visible (all counter is White and without icons, try to select that area). In same time I have Weather widget without to add it to my page.

Please try to revert your theme to the default state because I have checked your website and I saw that you have some additioanl customization for this typew of block. We don’t want to use the author field from wordpress but would like to use a custom field for this
So the question is: is there a way to rewrite code for this ‘more form this author’ block in such a way that it would get article from the author based on the custom field ‘Author’ (which is a tag).

I have inspected your site and saw that it does not use thumbnails at all but the full images re-scaled to fit the container. Hello there. On the header banner position which contains the leaderboard ad, when adblock is on, it hides the advert but keeps the div as it is with a huge blank space (but on the sidebar ad, it hides the entire div). My site looks weird and out of place with this.
I need to hide the entire “td-header-rec-wrap” div when adblock is active, how do i achieve this?

Please notice that your regular page displays your posts with Block 18, as you can see here -> http://screencast.com/t/3LSxCvpTnpA and the Block 18 uses two type of module -> module 10 and module MX8. So, if you want to have the similar design for your category page, you will have to set your Article Display View to be Module 10, for your category page, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/ytPa9lfsQ and then your category page will display the same layout. Today I made an update from version 6 to version 7 Newspaper, before update, block 15 shows well (see http://72.52.135.40/~reporte1/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/screenshot-1.png) three columns, after update, block 15 does not show three columns, only two (see http://72.52.135.40/~reporte1/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/screenshot-2.png).
How can I fix this?

I need to make my category pages into mini-homepages, or ‘hubs’.
To do that, I need to customize each category page like I do the homepage. Use visual composer, place blocks in certain places and load them with articles in different subcategories from that main category, that type of thing. Each category page would be set up a bit differently, depending on the available sub-categories.
Is there a way I can do that?
Delete your current social plugin. Then upload and install the td-social-counter from your newspaper zip.

I see now that the same thing is true for Block 1 module in visual composer. In the category filter of Block 1 I cannot find the categories which would have other wise been in the end, since it is in alphabetical order.
I have tested this through createing two test categories.
One I calles TEST
and the other ATEST
The TEST does not appear, but the ATEST appears on the top of the list!

OK. I found part of the solution but my claim still stands… Now, if I put block 14 on a 1 column layout it is fine. However, the block grid seems to be getting messed up if I use a 2-column layout. Currently, I am using 1/4 + 3/4 layout. It does not seem to matter how I divide it up. The block only looks correct on 100% layout and that will not work nor does it seem right. Something is definitely wrong with the default code. Try it out…

Hey, I’ve added shopify products to my store, and it seems the footer is blocking 2 of my products off.
Also i can’t click the products so it seems it is blocking pop ups too
I’ve had a chat with their team and we’ve tried everything possible & it’s definitely come down to the theme

Thank you for your answer, but still not exactly happy, I started some experimenting.
What I did was this:
- Put a block on an empty page (it’s ‘td_block_14’, but that doesn’t really matter, and just the block shortcode, no vc rows or vc_columns). It’s set to display 4 categories only.
- Called that page from the ‘mega menu’ options in the Menu Manager.
- Adjusted the php-files of the block and of course the asssociated module ‘td_module_mx1’
- Adjusted styling on the ‘inner content’, and especially the ‘ajax dropdown’.
- Added a very small jQuery script to make the ‘ajax dropdown’ immediately visible and have it set to the default category ‘All’.
Done!
The Mega Menu now exactly looks and functions like your mega menu, only with Custom Post Types!

I know this is kind of a hack and not ideal. I also know I should not use existing blocks and modules, but add new ones via your API. That’s also for tomorrow.
However, when I – with limited coding skills – can do this in a day, I’m sure your developers can do this in a few hours.
This was my original question: why is there support for CPT’s in all blocks, but not in the Mega Menu?
It just doesn’t make sense.
So, please make this happen.

It seems that the server blocks the access to admin-ajax,php file. In some cases the server security module blocks the access to admin-ajax.php file. When this it’s requested many times itâs treated as threat so itâs banned. Contact your host provider and let him know about this as he may be able to provide more detail in this regard. You can report false positives to your server administrator to remove it from the banned list.
