Hi,
Please try this custom css in Theme Panel > Custom Css: http://screencast.com/t/ObwuJQQv
.td_mega_menu_sub_cats{
float: right !important;
}
.block-mega-child-cats{
text-align: left !important;
}
Hope this helps!
Sean you were absolutely right. It was the thumb setting in the block settings. Thanks so much! I knew I was missing something simple. Great support on this forum, I must say.
and fwiw, this theme rocks…very fast, has everything I need right out of the box without having to add extra plugins.
Not sure if this will fix anything but it’s worth a shot. Have you got the 80×60 thumbsize enabled in Block Settings > Thumbs on modules & blocks? That size seems to be used by the gallery and is turned off by default. You’d have to regenerate thumbnails again after turning it on.
Hello,
I pray the Tagdiv Team is well. Your premium themes and support are amazing. I would like to add a “More Articles” block/area just below the Category posts on my Category pages if possible. I should be able to determine the number of posts and and choose the categories (or choose all categories) to populate this area. I would be using the same block (M5) as my Category Pages Article Display view, but if I could choose the block, that would be great too. I hope you can help me implement this.
Have an awesome day!
Philip
Hey,
For the Categories widget try out
.td_block_popular_categories ul a{
color:#222222;
}
For the Even More News try
.td_block_wrap .td_block_inner .entry-title.td-module-title a{
color:#222222;
}
Hope that does the trick!
If it won’t break the structure too much, how could I move the tags to just under the category blocks on posts?
And I’d like to rename it from “tags” to “filed under” or something similar. How would I do that?
http://screencast.com/t/A1oPy3pPYVK
How can I change tag font size/colors? Is that in the theme panel, or do I need to add custom CSS?
I’d like to change the size of the info that’s here:
http://screencast.com/t/6CiZdHPe
Size wise/padding wise I’d like it to match the view count/comments on that same line.
How do I do that?
Hi!
I tried to add custom css to theme panel. I added css that was supposed to make the sidebar disappear and the images grow bigger. I moved my website to a new VPS Cloud server and it suddenly stopped working. It used to work on my shared server, but now nothing happens when i open the site on mobile. Any suggestions why nothing happens and how to fix this ??
Thanks for all the answers!
I added this:
@media(max-width:479px){
.home .td_block_big_grid{
display: none;
}
.home .td-grid-wrap {
padding: 0px !important;
}
@media (max-width: 767px) {
.container .span12 .row-fluid .span4 {
display: none;
}
}
@media (max-width: 767px) {
.td_mod8 .meta-info,
.td_mod8 .td-post-text-content {
display: none;
}
.td_mod8 .item-details {
margin-left: 0 !important;
margin-bottom: 10px;
}
.td_mod8 .thumb-wrap img {
position: relative !important;
width: 100% !important;
max-width: none !important;
max-height: none !important;
margin-bottom: 10px;
}
}
@media(max-width:479px){
.home .td_block_big_grid{
display: none;
}
.home .td-grid-wrap {
padding: 0px !important;
}
@media (max-width: 767px) {
.container .span12 .row-fluid .span4 {
display: none;
}
}
@media (max-width: 767px) {
.td_mod8 .meta-info,
.td_mod8 .td-post-text-content {
display: none;
}
.td_mod8 .item-details {
margin-left: 0 !important;
margin-bottom: 10px;
}
.td_mod8 .thumb-wrap img {
position: relative !important;
width: 100% !important;
max-width: none !important;

I’m not liking the filters on the photos in the block on the top row of my site. How can I go about removing it?
I will probably also need to know how to change the text color for that block alone since I assume the filter was put there to make the test readable.
Here’s mine, although this has some stuff for mod_pagespeed at top, and I also unset tag, and am trying to block pingbacks. 🙂

I didn’t think “note” was a class used, and you’re defining it but then not using it in your example ?
In any case here is what I’m using for a paragraph tag in Newsmag:
blockquote p { font-size:20px !important; line-height:26px !important; text-align: left !important; padding-left:20px;}
Bootstrap CSS not used in theme, unfortunately (wish it was!), for buttons, etc.
You could save out the custom CSS and JS from Bootstrap using the customizer and then fold those into the theme by adding calls to the JS and putting the CSS at bottom of your style.css.
I added some CSS code to custom css.
It is showing original theme’s blockquote style.
blockquote.Note{
padding: 5px 20px;
margin: 0 0 10px;
border-left: 5px solid #D3EAFA;
}
blockquote.Note p {
font-size:95%;
color: #333333;
font-weight: 300;
line-height: 1.6;
}
sample :
<p><i class=”icon-bookmark-empty”></i> Note</p>
<p>Contents</p>
and how can I use bootstrap css?
Hi,
I’ve just updated to the latest version of the theme but the situation is still the same on my test site.
I can’t see a featured image on the homepage in any of the blocks and I have no video in post. I have tried to add the URL with the HTTPS and without it with 3 different vimeo videos but still nothing.
I have also tried to embed a youtube video and that is the same, blank! Nothing.
I have deactivated all of the plugins and cleared all of the caches and tried again but no joy, I have viewed the site on my iphone, ipad and laptop and the results are the same.
I’ve no idea what the 109 thing is or why it would be trying to do something other than it is supposed to do in wordpress, I wouldn’t want to or know how to mess with that stuff?
I use site wide SSL on all my sites, not sure if this could cause problems?
I’ll update my main site to the new version of the theme and see what happens with that
I just tried the same vimeo video embed on another of my sites on a different server and it doesn’t work on there either. On my test site it doesn’t bring up the image on the home page in any of the content blocks or in post
I didn’t find the schema.org/article tags in td_block.php, they’re in /newspaper/includes/modules/td_module_X.php and it’s being placed there by get_item_scope(). To delete the itemprop=”name” on the h3 tags within td_module_X.php, edit the get_title() function in td_module.php and delete the itemprop=”name” from the h3 tag. That’s what I did and it worked for my blog, I just deleted the information from the td_module_X’s that I was using in the sidebar and for similar articles. In my case td_module_4 and td_module_6, so it’s probably different for you. You only want one schema.org/article per page for those rich pins. Hope this helps.
Hi,
Blocks are designed to work with posts, so you can filter by category: http://screencast.com/t/AnI5FUrAr as pages do not have categories it should not appear on that block. You don’t have to specify no page anywhere.
Please provide more details as I’m not sure what you mean and link so we can take a look .
Also please follow our documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-documentation/
Thanks!
Hi,
The module number do not correspond to block number. The blocks are made from modules, some block are made from 2 modules from example…please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/blocks/
I’m glad that your figured out! Please follow our documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-documentation/ and let me know if you have another issues related to the theme.
Thanks!
Hi,
Unfortunately there is no option to do this only for mobile. Now I understand you use a block with load more pagination for news. All you can do is to set less articles to display when user push load more button: http://screencast.com/t/N26ahtyVDTCG this it will apply also on desktop screen) so on mobile screen after 5 posts will appear load more button and after the user will see sidebar.
Hope this helps!
Hi: thank you and the pictures showing.
I figured out my first questions, I think you have a reason for that, to narrow the space is in style ccs line 46, however, you set that page margin space for showing the path before the category view.
Thank you for block ten information
Hmm found td_block.php but now I can’t seem to locate the itemprop attributes. If anyone has any advice, it would be much appreciated!
Hey Vexx and Certifiedangusbeef,
I’m having a similar problem, except instead of the sidebar my rich pins are pulling the title from the first post in my similar articles. I can’t seem to the folder td_block.php. Do either of you mind sharing what code you removed? Perhaps it’s hiding in one of my folders.
So as it turns out there is a minor bug in that the block numbers do not match those listed in the module directory /wp-content/themes/Newsmag/includes/modules. For instance, block 14 corresponds to td_module_mx1.php and block 9 corresponds to td_module_8.php. This discrepancy explains why I was having experiencing the issues as described in my initial post.
Greetings,
I followed the instructions on http://screencast.com/t/REm4OHzaNFKN in order to remove the comment count, author and date from all the blocks I used on the homepage of http://bit.ly/1wJQy7F , however, it does not work. Kindly advise what to do. Thank you.
