The image son flex blocks are also set as background image. No as an optimized version for images and elements that can be display in a module is the module builder -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/modules-builder-newspaper-theme/https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-builder-flex-loop-builder/
Now if the plugins can not convert the image in webp (or the can but the blocks can not get the webp format), the only remaining option is the lazy load that can improve the options – https://i.imgur.com/UnUEc5j.png

I’m using PHP version 8.1.23 and WordPress 6.3.1

Picture at https://i.imgur.com/shnmka7.jpg above green line shows front page before update. Below green line shows it after update.

Issues:

1. Menu missing six entries
2. Trending now missing
3. The whole block of three article below Trending now missing
4. Background colour changed from #fff1e0 to ##920b3c

To clear problems I’ve reverted to Newspaper 12.5.1 (which works perfectly.)

Any thoughts?

I verified in my categories and the article is tagged whith this category. How can I fix this problem?

Hi Anamaria,

We don’t want to use the ad box. It doesn’t fit our needs.
We have a custom build ads manager that bypass adsblocker running on the server and we’re pulling banners using js and shortcodes. This is why we need to use Raw HTML.
Ads displays very well on pages and posts but not on the home page.

Is it possible some theme features or modules blocks or prevent Raw HTML from loading?

Thank you

https://www.construire.fr/maisons/maison-focus-74-city/

You will see that after “visite virtuelle”, it only shows the URL of the player https://mon.plan3d.immo/3dhd/vv/5759934/babeau_seguin_focus_79 but not the player

I tried to do it also with iframe but all this is blocked by tagdivcomposer

Hey Calin,
thanks for getting back! I use one of these plugins. I just saw except from the tdb-featured-image-bg also the images in the sidebar (Flex Block) are not loaded as webP. I use Performance Lab and EWWW Image Optimizer. The normal images in the posts are loaded as webP. Is there something i have to activate in the theme panel in order to deliver webP?
All the best,
Daniel

Hello,

I think you added the block in the header section, not in the content. Please check it -> https://i.imgur.com/0grq1B8.png -> https://i.imgur.com/tSXvPzH.png

Hello,

No, you can change only with custom code css
.td_block_image_box .td-custom-title
{
top:80%!important;
}

The code needs to be set in the Theme panel -> Custom code -> Custom CSS => https://www.screencast.com/t/fxetQe24ZHf

I want to add animated text using”
Animated Text Block” plugin. But in page builder this option is not visible after adding plugin. if not possible please let me know which is the best way to show animated text

Hello Imran!

I suggest you to upload a logo which is under 100kb and the image will load faster.
Disable the lazy load animation from here: https://www.screencast.com/t/O5pfqQdb
Optimize your website and eliminate multiples blocks from your page.
Try to use less plugins.

Thank you!

Hi in the new 12.6 update where is Theme Panel for minifying and aggregating block’s inline CSS option located exactly?

Also, Specific JS files are now loaded only when needed are going to happen automatically or do we need to turn an option on?

Hi,

I need to add a custom HTML if a single post is in a specific category. Let’s say that category is “Business”

I need to put this html below the TITLE of the single post.

The custom HTML simple it’s just a <DIV>

SAMPLE:
<div>Sponsored</div>

How can I achieve this?

Requirement:
1. If a single post is belongs to “Business” category – add an the HTML below the Single Post Title.

NOTE: I already tried creating a custom function using the_title WP filter however – the problem is that it affects the menu items on my FOOTER area. My Footer Area is a cloud template and has a navigation menu block.

Can anyone help me how to achieve this?

thanks

Hi,

The exclusive label is displayed on the blocks if your posts are locked -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/lockers/
If you are referring to display the plan that you have assigned on that post, you can use a custom field or custom label https://imgur.com/qhDjo0A, but this option is only for blocks.

Thank you!

Hello,

The page loading speed can depend on many factors, and each website is unique from this point of view. Let me explain some of these factors and maybe they give you some starting points for optimizing your website. A good choice for the page speed, could be the mobile layout which contains fewer elements because it can improve a bit your page speed.
There are many optimization guides provided by our users here in the forum, some made by us; you could check some of them

Also, pagespeed is not covered by support -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-support/

If you use Wp Rocket, you can try to exclude the following files
/jquery-?[0-9.](.*)(.min|.slim|.slim.min)?.js
/jquery-migrate(.min)?.js
/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/js/tagdiv_theme.min.js
tdBlocksArray

Hello @atleemcfellin !

Yes, you can display only 1 category in blocks. This setting: https://prnt.sc/yD5FvmrSPuBl will filter and display posts from all categories.

What I did, was this:
use console view in Chrome, and note down the specific most annoyingly smalle items (e.g., breadcrumbs, basic body text, tags/categories), and then put custom CSS in the WordPress appearance > Customizer.

e.g.,

.entry-crumbs {margin-bottom:18px;font-size:14px;color:#555555;}
.homeh1{font-size:20px;font-weight:700;text-align:center; border-bottom:1px #AAA solid; padding-bottom:24px;}
.td-post-content p a{text-decoration:underline!important;}
.entry-crumbs a:active{margin-bottom:18px;font-size:14px;color:#CC0000;}
.entry-crumbs a{margin-bottom:18px;font-size:14px;color:#CC0000;text-transform:uppercase;}
.td-tags{font-size:13px;}
.td-post-small-box{height:20px;line-height:24px;margin-bottom:5px;}
.td_module_mx2 .item-details {margin: 0 20px 20px 20px;display: block;min-height:60px;}
.meta-info{font-size:14px;color:#444;line-height:21px;margin-top:21px;margin-bottom:21px;}
.td-category{font-size:13px;}
.entry-category{height:20px;line-height:24px;margin-bottom:5px;}

Good afternoon,

I need to find a way to show all Categories using a Flex blocks or flex grid. Currently I’m using Flex Block 1.

I know the documentation states only one Category can be displayed at a time, but any help editing the code so it can display more (typically 2 or 3 in my case) would be extremely helpful.

Thank you in advance,

Shawn Tierney

Thanks Bettina for the the suggestion.

Seem like the article mainly refers to the lost password related issue, but there aren’t any references to being blocked by the Google reCaptcha thing. I can’t log in to my wordpress which makes it this much tricky… I’m going to try to bring the previous version of the website and see if that helps, but if you have any more suggestions please let me know.

Best

Hi Again,

I’m now seeing two different pages in the theme’s documentation that say only one category can be displayed. Is this correct? None of the links you sent me address this specific issue. Thank you again for your help on this.

Hello @atleemcfellin !

You can edit the homepage with the TagDiv Composer; click on those elements and check the settings on the left side of the editor.
Check the flex block settings from here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/
More documentation about the cloud templates is here:

I hope that helps you!

Hello!

Take a look here in this video for example where I build 6 columns: https://www.screencast.com/t/mZ2c5XamTFN2
In the flex block 1, there are some settings: https://prnt.sc/5Vr1zzKv4UYk
Also, you can install a section from the Cloud Library with an already done layout: https://prnt.sc/D3lGREu3iFwh -> https://prnt.sc/VTH4RpmnuGsw

Thank you!
