Some of the articles have 2 categories, one is Hot News the other categories is various topic. Having Hot News category is to make the posts appear on the featured area.
For example I publish an article about Financial, then I select Financial as category, but at the same time I want this article to appear on featured area therefore I also select Hot News, what I want to appear is Financial category in recent post in Flex Block 1.
But the problem is the Flex Block 1 that I use to show the recent post displaying the HOT NEWS category, what I want to display is the post category.
Please see the image.

As you can see the category that appears is not the one I want.
Thank you very much

Dear Team
Since the update to WordPress 6.0 the layout of article page is changed. With blocks of white space.
Example:
https://www.idiots.beer/de-moersleutel-band-of-brothers/
https://www.idiots.beer/beer-idiots-at-toer-de-geuze-2022-this-weekend/
Is this a know issue ?
Running Newsmag version: 5.2
Hello @serambca,
Please let me know what version theme you have, also, if you have the block single related post in the Single Post Template, please remove it and use the flex block, and set the filter to Single -> Related by category https://www.screencast.com/t/SEmxo13Fo2X
Thank you!

I appreciate any help! Thanks!
Hello,
I have a problem with the display of the menu when I am in development mode. It does not show the elements that hang from each tab and only those that do not have submenus work.
Also, floating elements like the menu and blocks (both sticky) don’t show up with the TagDiv visual composer when they always have. I have not changed anything, it was from your last update.
Here is a demo https://www.loom.com/share/536d4665656a4cffb8fd991754e4d5e3
Both things, I repeat in the development version and not the frontend where they do work if I am not connected to WordPress, they are detrimental when working.
I hope your help, please don’t say the same old thing (we’ll talk to our developers), as this is not correct if you can’t tell me what’s wrong, I need you to go and fix it.
No links are working with any Image we set up.
As you can see to the right, two images were uploaded. Both have image links attached. I save and the image link disappears.
https://imgur.com/a/d9TMf8n — Image Link Saved And Link Disappears
It works just fine if I add it as a WordPress Guttenburg Block Image with link FYI.

Hello!
Please edit the homepage with the TagDiv Composer and check how it is looking in different viewports. Also, check the settings of that flex block in the tab Layout and make sure the image has the same size. Check if there is an extra space or an empty column or padding(yellow color underneath the image).
If the settings are the same in tablet viewport also, then please make sure it is not a plugin conflict or a cache issue. Try it in an incognito window.
Thank you!
Hello,
I recommend you to use Flex Block 1, and this block has more options to customize it -> https://www.screencast.com/t/3qgDOEr9
Thank you!
Hello!
Make a test and deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache and try again. Please check the console in the TagDiv Composer, and make sure you do not have a 403 error. It’s possible to be from the firewall or security module which blocks the admin-ajax.php request, which usually displays a 403 or 404 error.
If you don’t use a security plugin, please ask your host about this, maybe you have a security module that blocks this.
If you use a plugin like Wordfence please set it in learning mode.
Also, if you are using Cloudflare, please make sure that is set as in our guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/, you need to disable the Rocket Loader.
Let me know the results!
Thank you!
Hello,
I just discovered code already in the theme that accomplishes exactly what I am looking for, but it has been commented out by your team.
wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/shortcodes/common
/**
* on composer iframe and on templates that do not have posts we show the no posts message
* @see td_page_generator::no_posts() - this function generates the __td('No posts to display').
* the text can be overwritten by the template using the global @see td_global::$custom_no_posts_message
*/
//if ( tdc_state::is_live_editor_ajax() || tdc_state::is_live_editor_iframe() ) {
//$buffy .= td_page_generator::no_posts();
//} else {
//$offset = intval($this->get_att('offset'));
//if ( $offset === 0 ) {
//$buffy .= td_page_generator::no_posts();
//}
//}
Lines 1717 – 1724.
When uncommented, this block shows the “No posts” message as expected.
Is this intentionally commented out or was it a mistake?
I would like a way to preserve my update of uncommenting it so that I don’t have to re-do it during the next theme update.
Please let me know if this is possible.
Thank you,
Patrick

Final question — I am trying to use a child theme to avoid losing the custom work every time I update WordPress/the Newspaper theme.
I have tried the following file structures and none of them seem to work:
- wp-content/themes/Newspaper-child/modules
- wp-content/themes/Newspaper-child/includes/modules
- wp-content/themes/Newspaper-child/td-cloud-library/modules
How do I modify wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/modules/tdb_module_loop.php, tdb_module_loop_2.php, and
wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_block.php in the child theme?
Hello,
I am very new to the WP editor and the Newspaper them for my POSTS and I am having a hard time matching the WP blocks to the font blocks in the WP theme. So my first question is: Is there a crosswalk between the WP blocks and the Newspaper Theme blocks? And my second, more immediate question is: where/how do I set the font for the WP “preformatted text” block?
Hi all TagDiv team
Is it possible to change the Author name with category name in the Recent Post (Block 21) Home Page and replace its position above post title?
See image below please.

Thank you very much
Nagib Blog
So the second “Recent Posts” block will continue the sequel of the previous posts in the first “Recent Posts” Block?
Hello,
If you want you can filter the block to display the posts by modified date, or you can simply set the post id in the block, and the post will be always on the top -> https://i.imgur.com/jAKpQ9S.png https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/
Thank you!

Hello,
The files for posts loops are wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/modules/tdb_module_loop.php and tdb_module_loop_2.php
Also, some settings are in wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_block.php
Thank you!
Hello,
You can achieve that using the offset option on the blocks -> https://www.screencast.com/t/Tsiu65TSaRS -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/offset-feature/
Thank you!
Hi all TagDiv Team
I have a client asking me whether possible to have a recent posts that continue even separated with any element or widget on Homepage.
For example, in the homepage I put recent posts block from latest posts 1 to 5th posts then separated with widget, then add another recent posts block showing the 6th to 10th latest post, then separated again with widget.
How to do it?
Thank you

So I have my landing page, and it has a Flex Block 1, displaying some content of a specific category.
I made the mobile version of the landing page, but now the blocks are independent. How can I connect the content of
2 different blocks so it displays the same?
I don’t want to change the filter both on the desktop and on the mobile view. I want my client to just change his desktop view and the mobile blocks to sync with those changes.
Unfortunately it doesn’t work. I tried it but it didn’t work and that’s why I wrote the question.
In fact, I’m trying to remove these big blue letters of blockquote (which can also be seen in your picture) and work according to the default settings of WordPress, because it’s easier to write posts with blockquotes in the admin.
