Hi.
I want to use a flex block in my post, for this I want to use a tagdive composer, but apparently it can only be used when creating pages.
Perhaps I’m wrong, but in the documentation I did not find a description of using the tagdiv composer when building a post. Is this true?
Dear Bettina,
Thank you for the tips about flex blocks. They work. Now, one more problem please. How can I remove the TagDiv adds? Thank you so much.
Best regards,
Ade
Hello Ade!
The site can’t be reached!
If you have 2 flex blocks with the same settings and they are displaying the same posts, then you can use an offset and a limit for the flex blocks. For example: 1 block with the limit posts: 2 and the second one with the limit posts: 2 and offset: 2, if you would like the 3rd one then you set limit posts: 2 and offset 4, etc. They have many settings and you can use a filter.

Yes, we add ads in our demos for presentation and a mockup for future websites. But, you can delete them easily.
Thank you!
I have been using the Ad Inserter Pro (recommended by google for ads) to try and put ads and other text into all my 5000 posts automatically and for some reason it fails by all the methods I have tried. the ads appear in the tag div preview but not on the site: thesteepletimes.com
Here you can see the preview: https://www.dropbox.com/s/6szmy1dm99pat6e/Screenshot%202021-10-22%20at%2008.50.55.png?dl=0
and here is the published site with no ad:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/m4n9fenzel48kvo/Screenshot%202021-10-22%20at%2008.52.34.png?dl=0
can’t figure this out?
Hello,
I have allready contacted sucuri support, who checked the problem from their side. They turned of bypass protection which caused blocking your IPs from admin panel, but this not causing problem with rendering videos.
Could you please check it again form your side where should be the problem why videos are not correct rendered?
thank you in advance
Hello,
Please check the console when you try to save the changes made in Theme Panel maybe is possible to be from the firewall or security module which blocks the admin-ajax.php request, which usually displays a 403 or 404 error.
If you don’t use a security plugin, please ask your host about this, maybe you have a security module that blocks this.
If you use a plugin like Wordfence please set it in learning mode.
Also, if you are using Cloudflare, please make sure that is set as in our guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/, you need to disable the Rocket Loader.
Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
Let me know the results!
Thank you!
Why is it that everytime you reposition the blocks on the main part of the page, the bottom footer stories get changed? How do I prevent that? And how do I have the stories always show in the footer? Its so annoying!
I noticed the “All Category” filter option for post blocks on widgetized sections is missing after updating to 5.1. I use the All Category option to showcase recent/latest posts on the blog irrespective of the category.
Please help as my site is currently missing the Latest Posts on single post pages and other sections of the site sidebar
Hi,
I mean about those two ads blocks as below:

I’m using ads setup from theme settings in AMP ads fields. I didin’t set manually the amp-auto-ads option.
Hello,
Unfortunately, there is no option for that to make the same height all modules, those are adjusted after post title and excerpt dimension (length of words or letters) and these are the only options that can be used to adjust the flex height, now if you are using the excerpt on letters -> https://www.screencast.com/t/McjF7faoO -> https://www.screencast.com/t/Il7hnKlsy then the flex blocks height will be most of the time the same, it is set on words, then can appear difference because some words are longer then others.
Also, you can set for each post an expert and then that excerpt will be displayed on the blocks => https://i.imgur.com/4d6c7sH.jpg
Also, you can set the space for excerpt => https://i.imgur.com/h4D2RaY.png

Hello,
@Julia Colmsee,
Usually, that problem it is related to the CORS policy that are blocking the access, that should fix the problem, also I see that you have another problem https://www.screencast.com/t/6EpdZBQMela this problem can be solved using those guides:

The Posts Loops settings are divided into 4 tabs: General, Layout, Style, and CSS. The Posts loop is a special block and doesn’t have filtering options.
Also, one of the options for pagination of the Posts Loop has the option for normal numbered and the flex blocks do not have this option.
The Posts Loop is automatically filtering the posts depending on the cloud template you set (for example on the category page there will be posted posts from that category).
You can use the Flex Block or the Big Grid Flex Block to apply the filters and sorting. You can find more information in these articles https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/big-grid-flex-settings/

Hello Lindsey,
Please check this topic with the same issue https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/error-blocking-tagdiv-composer/ let me know the results!
Thank you!
I refer to this page only (which is using the template I’m testing): https://www.staging2.massimobasso.com/i-leoni-del-serengeti-e-la-migrazione-degli-gnu/
I’m trying to speed up the page, the main reason I’m switching from another theme, but results are not the best. .. But one thing at this time.
The issue ON MOBILE (no problem with DESKTOP) is LCP which is identified as it follows.
div.vc_column > div.wpb_wrapper > div.td_block_wrap > div.tdb-featured-image-bg
<div class=”tdb-featured-image-bg”>
Is it possible to exclude this image from lazy loading and preload or prioritize the loading of this image?
I’m using Wp-Rocket and Shortpixel adaptive images with my own CDN for JS and CSS.
Any other trick to speed up the entire page?
Thank you
Massimo

You want a post loop in category page to display two categories from what I understand? You can’t, post loop has no filter. But you can make Flex Block 2 (I think) look exactly like Loop and give that the filter. Categories have numbers and you enter them in “Multiple taxonomies filter” like 2, 4, 6. Hope that helps.
To copy the look right click the loop, copy style and paste style on the flex block
Hi,
Thanks for getting back to me.

Hello!
In this case, you can set up for the 2nd flex block an offset: 5, so won’t be displayed the most recent 5 articles.
Thank you!
Hello,
I answered yesterday on email about this problem, seems the Sucuri Security plugin blocks access to the Facebook video https://i.imgur.com/0BRji6f.png and to update the post.
Please check the answered by email and make sure you have set the settings for this plugin correctly.
Thank you!
I am facing two weird errors after updating to the 11.3.1 version,
-
First, the images are taking the full-frame, no matter what size I am putting on the editor page,
</u>
-
Second, the center alignment isn’t working, suppose if I am setting the button block to the center, it is showing at the left side of the frame only while previewing.
Please, let me know the solution.

Hi, thank you for the quick answer!
Below you see two blocks, both contain posts from the same category. Block 1 contains the most recent 5, block 2 contains all the posts. What I would like to do is to avoid the overlap of posts, therefore in block 2 i would like to see all the posts EXCEPT the most recent 5.
I have three sections to my header:
Top header
Middle section (designed to be visual)
Main menu
The middle section seems to be uneditable. After adding a logo, it seems I can add no more.
It’s the wide red block, if anyone knows why, or if this just simply is not possible with the Themeforest NewsMag Theme that would be helpful.
Hello Thomas!
Yes, you can if you will use a cloud post template. The options there could be to split a row into 2 columns, add a flex block with limit 1 in the left column and for the right column:
1. If you need a list, then you can add it with the element “Text with title” for example, but you need to add them manually.
2. If you need a list with the posts automatically updated, then you can achieve this with a flex block, but without the points into the list.
Please check this video, so you can see how I achieve the query from the second image: https://www.screencast.com/t/T86qAuQV5
Opt-in builder is a new feature. In the next updates, we will try to implement also these functionalities.
You can use a flex block with a filter ( choose the category you want ) and a sort order : Popular (all time).
Thank you!
Hello,
1. You can disable the mobile theme plugin only for pages and posts, not for cloud templates.
2. if you referring to this => https://i.imgur.com/q9mCiSH.png, then you can disable the date from Theme Panel -> Block Settings -> Meta info on Modules/Blocks => https://i.imgur.com/9wnr4Tn.png this setting applies to all blocks on the mobile theme.
Thank you!
