Hello !

You will have to edit the functions.php in child theme and change from 1001 to 11 and it should work: https://image.prntscr.com/image/LJgOPaseQeWx88hn-pSKGQ.png

Thank you !

We already done that ut child theme still not working with cloud library… Custom post templates are not working…

@Beni

I don’t think so. On our installation the composer works as expected. I can even edit a single template, if I select the template via the composer. But when I click on “Edit template” on the admin bar of a post, that should be displayed based on that same single template, I get the message

Please select tagDiv Builder Template from the theme panel or set a default template. The current page/post uses a template that is not editable.

So with version 9.7.3 somehow the connection/integration with a child theme and the composer and it’s templates is somehow broken. The post is displayed in the standard layout and not with the single template it is connected with in the post settings.

There doesn’t seem to be any short code folder in the theme. I would like to edit the “td_block_mega_menu.php” but I can’t seem to locate it.

EDIT:

Okay, a little edit of mine.

#Report 1

I think there might be a connection with the General Modal Image option. I activated this and still the gallery doesn’t work with the Gutenberg editor. Previously this worked without problems (9.7.2). The image is not loaded and the image box only displays an error message. Both in the Child Theme and in the Main Theme this does not work. EDIT: I said that the Classic Block Gallery wouldn’t work, but it does, I checked it again. The Tagdiv Gallery, as well as the WordPress Gallery work in the Classic Block of the Gutenberg Editor.

#Report 2

The default post template defined by the user in the options is not recognized correctly in the child theme. I have set my posts so that they get their default post template from the panel settings. In the main theme this works fine, but as I said, in the child theme it doesn’t.

#Report 3

The Gutenberg Title Box has only one row by default, unless the title gets longer then this also jumps to the next row and expands down. This is probably an error in the CSS. (Can be checked when starting a new post!)

Hi,

this is really unfortunate. I’ve helped myself with Flex Block 5, which almost gets the job done. Is there any way to include post view count and other elements into the post meta section? Or is the option for customization completely gone (I really don’t hope so)?
Thanks

Hi,

Since Newspaper v9.7 a lots of files was moved in td-composer, you need to look for this files in wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/includes/shortcodes/td_block_mega_menu.php and wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_menu.php

Hope this will help you!
Thank you!

But it was working really nice for months before the latest update! Our custom plugin (block and module)

Now we get this error in td_api_block::add
Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined method td_config::get_map_filter_array()

Is there any other simple way to call this method inside td_api_block::add or is it more complicated?

Thanks!

Issue 3. Translation isn’t working, i have translated “All” into “Todos” but it’s not showing @frontend. it’s still showing “All”

I always think it’s a bit stupid that everything is shifted to the user right away, even though one has already written that everything was great before and since update these errors exist, so it can’t really be due to a plugin error. I don’t want to sound ungrateful now, but there seem to be other customers who have reported the same problem. So is it possible to do more research about this and not unpack the “You’re to blame, we’re not” club right away? So far the updates have been quite problem-free, except for a few little things here and there, but lately the problems increase when I install an update. Maybe it’s me, but I just can’t find a problem. As a developer you can even be glad that people report bugs as actively as possible.

As I wrote before, the gallery (WordPress gallery (normal), tested in the Gutenberg editor with the Classic block and the normal Gutenberg gallery, tagdiv gallery works fine) works neither in the main theme (so not child) nor in the child, so I don’t know another solution, the media file is linked. The default Post Template in the settings can be set, but is also displayed correctly in the main theme (not Child), but as soon as you switch to the Child theme, the default template is always displayed. The sidebar is displayed properly, but before that the update reset or removed my widgets, so I had to redefine them. The rest of the page actually works fine, except for the problems, there is none left, until the auto-optimization may load the page a bit strange when script merge is activated. I disabled this option for the time being. And yes already tested whether it is also related to the other problems, unfortunately no change, sorry.

I’d like to switch back to 9.7.2, because I’m a little tired of testing, wasting my time and not finding a solution. Stupid that I don’t have the version anymore, I make really meticulous backups now before I decide to install a newspaper update.

Thanks for your efforts and I hope the matter clears up as soon as possible.

Hi,

If I understand correctly you want to show the Custom Post Types in blocks, you need to edit the block and look in filter tab to set the post type -> https://www.screencast.com/t/NBO8GS0t
Block settings guide -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/
Custom Post Type Support -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/custom-post-type-support/
If you are using other plugins for events, those cannot be filter/show with theme blocks.

Thank you!

Hi,

This guide -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/developer-info/ is made for advance users/developers to be able to crate a compatible plugin with our theme ( for example to create new blocks ), you need to do it yourself through the code and if you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take, in this case, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry!

Thank you for your understanding!

Hi,

You can do that in the theme panel block settings, there is an option for it now
http://prntscr.com/nur4oo
So if the post has no featured image set, the image you set there will be used.

Thanks

Tried lots of various things to solve this, deactivating plugins etc but nothing seems to work in solving the problem. System status in the theme is all green see image https://ibb.co/09ZXFMY but I still see this whenever I try to use the text block module https://ibb.co/5WPx7Qq

any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Hello Vlad,

Thanks for the reply, those filters do not show the custom post categories, they only show the standard post.
I have Events custom pots and it has its own categories. let’s say for example I want to show only the Music category from the custom post events in the block, how can I do that?

Thanks,

Actually I’m following this guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/developer-info/ , but I want to be able to add a filter tab to my custom block (in td_api_block::add) like I did with the previous version of Newspaper! (with td_config::get_map_filter_array() which doesn’t work anymore).

I’ve tested this in a widget, and it works as intended. Something in the Header Ad area, both in the backened and using TD editor, is blocking the PHP from connecting properly to the plugin.

Can you make this post invisible so that I can send you the code. No, I’m using the latest plugins Simion.

Interestingly, for the main language it works but for the secondary they are either both visible or secondary broken

Blocks works without problem

Hi,

I tried using the widget per language settings, seems to work fine. I use the latest theme and WPML version (http://prntscr.com/nudhsj)

Maybe the problem is with the content you enter in the widgets. Try as a test to remove the current widgets and enter a simple block for example, set to appear by language. Check if that works, if it does the problem might be with the code used.

Thanks

Hello !

Using the tagDiv Composer you are able to filter the blocks content. Simply go here: https://www.screencast.com/t/jyyZwp9fP and set the filters you want.

Unfortunately we can offer support only for this plugins: https://www.screencast.com/t/PaXgnivgK6

Thank you !

Hi,

That should work if you edit the module files in the composer plugin files. The api plugin was discontinued unfortunately. It was replaced with the creative plugin
https://forum.tagdiv.com/developer-info/
The guide contains just a simple example at the moment, but not one for an actual block.

Due to the files being moved in the composer after the 9.7 update, currently there would no way of modifying the modules, either than directly. Through the plugin it would be possible to add a new block based on flex block 1 for example, it may take some work to do it however. If I could provide an exact guide as to what needs to be done, I would happily. Maybe we will update the documentation with more examples when time permits.
For the time being you could make your modifications to the module, and back up the file. Then replace the new file after a theme update with the backup. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks

Hello !

You can filter what you want to be added in blocks by editign them with the tagDiv Composer. You could use a post id filter to make it even more custom: https://www.screencast.com/t/7jlttvbD

Thank you !
