Just enter it in Theme panel->Custom Css section. If you would like it to apply for all then blocks, remove the block class from the beginning of the code.

Sorry but the sort order is not created in css.

Also, notice that API implementation is not covered by our support and this tutorial is addressed to the advanced users and if you ar not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom work, sorry!

It could be a plugin that is causing the issue. Try as a test if possible, to deactivate all your plugins except the ones included in the theme package, clear any caching installed and check if the problem is solved. Switch to the main theme if you are using a child theme. Check any customization you might have made to the theme files, or added in theme panel.
The theme makes many requests to admin-ajax file, the security module from your server may treat it as a threat. In some cases this file is banned by the server and the theme cannot access it anymore. Try to contact your host provider and ask if that file is banned or if there is any firewall on the server which may block the request.
While saving in the theme panel, press F12 to see if there are any errors in the browser inspector console.
