after reading a lot I found out it has to do with the cache… I deleted everything inside wordpress and nothing happened, so I kept reading and found out that there’s LiteSpeed Web Cache installed in the whole server, I asked the hosting company to help me out and they did, this is what was causing it:
“this issue was caused by the blocking of the rule by our Modsec apache module. We need to use this for security reasons. The module is configured to protect web applications from various attacks. ModSecurity supports a flexible rule engine to perform both simple and complex operations. I have fixed this issue for you. Please check it from your side and let me know if this occurs again.
Also, here you can find the article about the Modsec module:
https://www.namecheap.com/support/knowledgebase/article.aspx/9542/22/what-is-modsecurity-and-why-do-we-need-it/.”
I am using Hostinger.
See screen shot https://prnt.sc/213h96i
I don’t why you guys are recommending WP Super Cache. I am using W3. https://prnt.sc/213h9qj
Hi sergioseroz,
Please try the steps from those guide:
-> How to Make the Site Faster
-> Cache plugin – install and configure
-> Cloudflare (CDN)
-> Autoptimize Plugin – install and configuration
I hope this will help you!
Hi mjkc, that situation can be improve if you disable the tagDiv Standard Pack, do you use elements or template from that plugin? If not please disable it, clear al cache and check again, the results will be better. Also there are other extra plugins that you are using and that may interfere.
Let us know the results!
Hi,
Thank you for contacting us!
The problem seems to be related to some resources that can not be loaded, so, this seems to be from a plugin, cache, optimize plugin, please make a test clear all cache and try again using only the tagDiv plugins.
Let me know the results!

Hello TagDiv team,
some strange problems suddenly occured in the Composer:
First of all is that I can’t delete empty rows any longer. Right click doesn’t work, the “delete” drop zone is missing, no possibilty to delete them. I can delete elements with the small popover trashcan but no empty rows.
Second: A lot of thins in the “element editor” are not working as expected. E.g. see this screenshot for where the color picker should be. Instead of the color picker there is just one text field with no functionality: https://cof1.eu/index.php/s/NFdHFjkBTJ7nwrc
Also a lot of options do not work like sometimes aligning an element or some checkboxes like “show author”. They just do nothing.
There are more weird stuff.
What I did (more than one time): I disabled all plugins, emptied cache, browser cache, and so on.
The problem occurs in Safari and Firefox, newest versions on OSX.
Wordpress 5.8.2, Newspaper 11.3.2, everything is up to date.

Thank you!
Hello,
One of my colleagues replied by email, the cause of this problem is Advanced Access Manager if you disable it and clear all cache the authors will be displayed.
So, please check the email and Spam section.
Thank you!

Hi,
I just checked the problem and like Bettina said, for me is also working -> https://i.imgur.com/7K3G5iI.png -> https://i.imgur.com/43mvV05.png maybe the problem is related to some extension that you have in browser or maybe some cache.
Please make a test using a different browser or better if is possible a different device.
In case that the problem is still there, please record a video using the steps provided above.
Let us know the results!
Hi Gundud,
On our demos we used more steps, but, all of them are in our guides:
For example we do not use external resources.
Use a cache plugin -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Optimize the website: this can be done using an extra plugin https://forum.tagdiv.com/autoptimize-install-configuration/ or using our guide with CSS Analyzer -> https://tagdiv.com/whats-new-in-the-newspaper-theme-10-4-update/
Use a Cloudflare (CDN) ->https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
I hope this will help you!
Hello @dimitrix7!
Please execute these steps:
1. disable TagDiv Composer
2. uninstall(delete) TagDiv Composer
3. clear cache (if cache plugin exists)
4. install TagDiv Composer
5. activate TagDiv Composer
6. clear cache (if cache plugin exists)
Sometimes, the issue can be from a plugin conflict, that’s why, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache (also from your browser) and try again.
If this problem is not solved after that, then we need to take a look and see what happened there.
Please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide the following:
– admin url and credentials
– cPanel url and credentials
– a link to this topic in order to identify you
Our team will take a look!
Thank you!

Hi,
I have a technical situatian and i cannot understand why this happens.
First of all, i have been using this theme for some time now, and i know how the theme works.
I am trying to change the background image for a row (i want to mention that it is from a demo) and it does not work.
When i try to change the image, nothing happens – https://prnt.sc/20y5due
Also, if i delete the image and upload another one, this will appear – https://prnt.sc/20y5ebh
Can i please explain why this is happening.
I want to mention that is a recently installed theme.
Also, i’ve set all of the Newspaper system status accordingly and i also have installed wp super cache.
Waiting for a reply soon,
Best regards.

Hi,
Normally admin-ajax.php can be blocked by the modSecurity from host, it can also be from firewall or other security modules/plugins.
If the situation persist, we can cache it, for this please make a full backup and contact us at contact@tagdiv.com provide wp-admin and cPanel, also provide as many details as you can about the problem.
Thank you!
Hello @itgrcapitallink!
It could be a cache issue. Please make a test, deactivate the cache plugin, clear the cache from your browser and see the results.
Hope that helps you!
