I don’t know what exactly you used to build the homepage, those aren’t theme elements. They seem to serve resized/reduced images instead of thumbnails

There’s no problem with the latest version of Newspaper theme, sorry! Everything has been fully tested and should return good results. Ensure that you have correctly updated the theme via FTP way, remove all of your untested plugins, clear all the caches, purge CDN files and check the results. If the problem is still there, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) so we can further investigate it closer your setup page. I have made some tests on my website and the Big Grid 4 works as expected on iPad version, sorry! Clear all the caches, purge CDN files and check the results. Also, remove all of the untested plugins which can break the theme functionality.

The theme lazyload has been modified in version 9.2, could have been a caching issue. We recommend to clear all caches after updating from an older version to a newer version.
