Hi.
I have several developments on this subject.
First, I have to say that problem 2 is already “fixed”. Why do I say “solved” with quotes? Well, because I noticed that the categories also appear in posts in that category. I read that, by default, the background images of the categories appeared in the posts of those categories and this effect could not be disabled (I really wanted the background images to only appear the pages of the categories, not the posts). As a result, I deleted the background images from the categories.
In short: problem number two no longer exists.
With respect to problem number 1 (remember: this problem happened only in iPhones, and was that the main navigation bar, in iPhones, “goes up” and appears to black bar that aesthetically looks very bad).
Well, number one problem still exists. I have not been able to solve the problem. Right now I have all the disabled plugins (except the “tagDiv composer” and “tagDiv Social Counter” plugins) and the problem persists. Even deactivating the “tagDiv composer” and “tagDiv social Counter” plugins, the problem continues.
More info: I have removed all the cache (I even disabled the “WP Super Cache” plugin) and I do not have a “child theme” (or, at least, I have not configured any “child theme”).
I attach these screenshots where you can see the problem (these screenshots are new, they are not the same ones I put in the first post). As you can see, when I navigate with iPhone, the main navigation bar is “up” and that black bar appears.

Therefore, I have created an account with administrator permissions in “wp-admin” I have sent the corresponding credentials to the email contact@tagdiv.com with the necessary information.
(Of course, until you review everything necessary to determine the problem and its possible solution, I will not activate any plugin).
Thank you so much for your attention!
(Please excuse my English, not my mother tongue).

Hello mekidult,
You should purge all your CDN files, clear all the caches and check after the results. Also, you can provide your website URL so I can take a closer look at it if your modal image will not work as expected.
Thanks.
Hi,
I have tested the single image element on our td composer but the link works as expected: https://www.screencast.com/t/CglxVyRa
If the one on your end does not work properly, please try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it.
Then test again.
Also please do not use both the tagdiv composer and the visual composer plugins at the same time. Choose one and disable the other.
Thanks
Hello,
You search, the mobile menu and ajax filters do not work. This is a js conflict and it has the console errors to go with it: https://www.screencast.com/t/t6yXfaGQQ
Please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
Thank you!
Hello,
If a page was built with the visual composer plugin, you should not edit it in the new page builder.
It should have accessed the tagdiv composer anyway so it might be a conflict with the current plugins you have active.
Please disable all plugins except the tagdiv composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use a cdn server.
Then check again.
Please use this guide for proper use of the tagdiv composer:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/visual-composer-tagdiv-composer-transition/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
Thank you!
Hello WakeUpCallProject,
Sorry for this inconvenient but please notice that we cannot recreate this error and also, I have checked your website for many times and I did not saw any problem with your site, sorry! Try using only the plugins which are tested with our theme because otherwise, if you will use any other untested plugins, the theme’s functionality could be damaged. Try to remove all of these and try using the theme to the default state, clear all the caches and check the results. Notice this wrong behaviour will not happen on our site, sorry!
Thanks for the message!
Hello,
Your post is not working on desktop as well for us: https://www.screencast.com/t/PwV8j0MQD
Please try to disable all plugins, clear cache and re-save permalinks.
Might give this a shot as well: http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-fix-the-internal-server-error-in-wordpress/
Thanks.
Why not just fix the theme in an update so it doesn’t happen?
Clearly the issue is over 12mths old and needs to be addressed.
The error doesn’t happen every time you load the site, only every now and then.
I have purged the CDN. However the issue has occurred for over a week and my cache clears at least once daily.
So what is exactly causing the issue?
Had exactly that problem regardless of browser I used. Clearing cache solved that.
Useful to share:
a) version of WordPress
b) theme version
c) php version
d) memory allocated to WP in wp-config.php and in hosting panel
e) using CDN ? Reset/turn ‘tuning’ settings off like minification?
f) using cache plugin? Cleared/disabled?
g) using an optimization plugin? disabled?
h) did you turn on debug feature in WordPress?
i) what errors from your hosting panel error log?
More information helps folks help you ! 🙂
Couple suggestions
a) make sure running php 5.6 and up with opcache on
b) limit number of queries per page; meaning don’t “turn everything on…” — you might want to only have a max of two ‘modules’ on sidebar, turn off the related posts widget and use simpler plugin, do NOT use the mega menu with images/posts, don’t use ‘7 days most popular’ option, don’t use the fly out related ‘you might like…’
Every one of those blocks is a dbase set of queries, so if you have 50 queries per page, cutting that down to 20 speeds everything up.
Also, if you’re getting ‘pounded’ with local search, you might consider installing the Google search option for site search instead to not use your own dbase for content searches — some spiders/bots can whack your processes by searching your entire site links for content vs looking at sitemap only.
You can also optimize your wp-config.php file by putting in direct explicit URLs for your site, and plugins folder, content folder, so that system doesn’t need to ‘look those up’ for every path.
It all adds up!
Hello,
I have inspected your website and I did not saw any strange symbols on your page, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/d5pETn8n0z Everything seems to work as expected. Try to clear all the caches, purge CDN files and check the results.
Thanks for the message!
Hello d_alinus2004,
Regarding on page speed, please notice that thing depends on how well your site is optimized. Notice that is not a simple task and if you do not have any experience in this regard you will do not bring good results for the theme. Also, notice that we have a speed optimization tutorial but this is addressed only to advanced users. So, if you follow the steps which are presented in this tutorial here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ you can increase the page speed loading and if you are not aware of the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because the speed optimization services are not covered by our support policy, as you can read here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/support-policy-2/ Check our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ regarding on dedicated server to fit to our requirements. For an example, you should check our demo preview because this website is optimized.
There are multiple guides and tutorials here on the forum regarding speed optimization, that you can search for and read:
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello mekidult,
Please check to be active the General Modal Image from Theme panel, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/25BUe0MN5k0 Clear all the caches, purge all CEN files and check the results.
Thanks.
Hi Danela,
Unfortunately, I do not exactly know what kind of language you are using on your website and notice that strange symbols can appear from your language. Try to enable all the support language from Theme panel, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/KX0XsqxUL clear all the caches and check the results. Also, if you are using the CDN system, purge all CDN files and check the results.
Thanks for the message!
Hi Ery,
I have tested on my site again and the FB Video seems to be the right fit as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/KYyXzHWlIp Try to update your theme, clear all the caches and check the results.
Hope this helps!
Thanks for your message!
Hello Tiger,
This value of your PHP memory should have to be okay! First of all, check the theme install if it was made via FTP way because this is the surest method in this regard. Also, if you are using such untested plugins, you should disable all of them because these might interact with the theme core files and causes a lot of unknown issues. Try using the theme at default state, clear all of your caches and check the results.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
The latest theme version is tested and it should work properly. Most probably a plugin that conflicts with the theme and you have this issue. Do you have an error in browser console?
Please deactivate all your plugins except tagdiv composer(or Visual Composer if you use it), disable any css/js minification, clear all the caches and see how it goes.
If the issue persist please send an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin and ftp access so we can take a closer look. Also paste a link to this topic so we can identify you.
Thanks!
It’s a side-effect of how the sitemap is generated by Yoast SEO (and I presume other sitemap plugins). They exit as soon as they send the sitemap to the browser which stops WordPress actions and filters from running. They don’t always set the current URL as a feed either.
For reasons long forgotten, but probably related to working around plugins that change the is_feed() settings WP-Super-Cache caches the status of the current page. It then uses that information to see if it should skip caching the page. That caching is fired on the “template_redirect” action, but since the sitemap plugin has exited that action won’t fire. Then later, the plugin checks if is_feed() is true (it should use the cached information, that’s an oversight) but since the sitemap plugin doesn’t set that either, it’s not.
As a result of is_feed() returning false, the plugin caches the sitemap as an anonymous html page which uses the text/html content type, not text/xml.
As a temporary fix, you can add the following to the Add here strings (not a filename) that force a page not to be cached in ADVANCED setting section.
sitemap(_index)?\.xml(\.gz)?
([a-z0-9_\-]+)?sitemap\.xsl
[a-z0-9_\-]+-sitemap([0-9]+)?\.xml(\.gz)?
I have been trying all day to save things in various sections such as the Theme Panel Ads Section. I have placed several different code types in the Footer Top Ad. It goes around in circles says its saved, no changes on the site. I purge cache, no changes on the site, I log out back in and there is nothing saved. Everything I put just disappears?
To bad i am getting a robotic reply, I do not have PLUGINS. I have a freshly installed theme from you guys. I do not have SEO Yoast, I do not have WP Super cache running.
And it is my homepage I am getting it with, I do not even have other pages added or what so ever. Soon I want to adjust the homepage to my stuff, it keeps giving that error. I
And how can I edit a page with another pagebuilder if your theme is the only one I have on it????
I have read through the forum and all you guys do is give the same robotic reply to this error, I thought I would get actual help here….. and worst part is, I have to wait again till next morning, cause support is offline again…. Get some evening dudes, cause yes people are in dif timezones, and not everybody has the time to wait 24 hours every single time they leave a question
Chris I honestly have no idea what you mean with those settings, I am a total noob when it comes to wordpress.
Something i cannot stand, it is support that does not even bother to read.
Please give me an answer I can actually do something with? Cause I am stuck on my theme now, do I have to do a clean install again or what is the next step.
Catalin,
I have checked WP Super Cache settings and it is all fine. We have had this theme for a couple months now and never had trouble editing homepage. It was after we made some edits (inserted RAW HTML tags). There was nothing else that was changed in regards to plugins before it stopped working. Can you please take a deeper look?
Thanks

Hi,
The manual activation is present on Newsmag as well as Newspaper
– https://www.screencast.com/t/www7y3WwJ
If this option is not present for you, try deactivating all plugins except theme plugins, clear any installed cache and check again.
Or maybe the theme did not install properly. You could try a fresh theme install by FTP
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-install-via-ftp/
Please let us know what the results are.
Thanks
