Thanks!
Point 1: I’m not using Wp Super Cache. My caching plugin is W3 Total Cache.
Point 2: I did the yoast SEO setting before the above query.
Point 3: Possibly the third one will be the reason. I didn’t created the

Blog1 page

mentioned in my query. Earlier I was using a theme from Orange themes and later Genesis. May be the page created by the former theme.
Anyway “Blog1 page” is my post page. It’s out of the box perfect.

Thanks for creating such a wonderful theme!

Hi,

It actually was chache plugin (WP Super Cache)…

However, the only way to make my site works correctly is deactivate the plugin at the moment…

I checked the guide page (https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/) but still cannot figure out how to set it…

Because, the guide page is written based on previous version of the plugin so the setting page of the CURRENT plugin is different.

For example, there is no “Cache hits to this website for quick access” or “Use PHP to serve cache files.” to check or uncheck for the new version.

Can you tell me how to set the configuration for the latest version of the plugin?

Hi,

That might be a caching issue. Try clearing the cache and check again. Also check if the cache is configured according to this guide
https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/

Thanks

Hi,

Please check and see if the caching plugin and CDN are configured as mentioned in these guides
https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
Then test again, and check if everything works properly.

Thanks

Hi Simon, I was expecting a bit more thorough approach to be honest.
As I mentioned in the initial post – the only change that was one – was upgrade to wordpres to 4.8.

Te problem is actually fixed without restoring anything, please see below the solution. Hope it will help you troubleshoot similar issues with future users complaining about the same thing.

The answer from our hosting support – the problem is evident from the answer.

As per my initial reply I switched the PHP version to 5.6 again and cleared the cache for the website, which immediately had effect as the login page at https://allontario.ca/wp-admin/ started working again without any errors. To test and verify this I created a temporary user for your installation and then managed to successfully log into the dashboard. While there I went to our SG Optimizer plugin -> PHP Config and ran the PHP 7.0 compatibility check, which reported having one plugin out of date and not compatible with PHP 7.0:
Code:
The following plugins/themes are not compatible with PHP 7.0.

I’m not using wp super cache or seo by yoast. This is also a clean install. I’m running it on a MAMP server. Could this cause issues?

Thanks and yes, I’ve been going through my own personal caching hell during the switch to this theme.

‘and nah, don’t care for WP SuperCache. Have switched to WP Rocket.

Anyhow, thanks for your time.

Hi,

If the ad codes are correct the theme will display them accordingly. Please note that there could be a delay according to Google, before the Adsense ads will display
https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/76228?hl=en
That may be the case, you could wait for a while and check the results. Try clearing any installed cache as well. Also make sure that the ads are not disabled in the theme panel. The settings should be like this in order to display the ad

Hello,

I am trying to speed up the delivery of my website. I have super cache installed and have applied the custom code to make it work with the mobile version of the theme. However when I enable cloud flare it starts sending cache’d mobile versions of the website to the desktop and vice-versa.

Can you please advise the configuration to get cloudflare working with the mobile version.

Many thanks,

Catalin

Hello sv,

I have inspected your website and I saw that you are using some untested plugins which can break the theme layout, like these -> https://www.screencast.com/t/CKQLH3R9k Notice that the first step in debugging on WordPress is to disable all of these and leave just only the plugins that come bundled with the theme core files and rule out any conflicting plugins. If the problem will persist after this, you should try with a fresh install from scratch, clear all the caches and check the results.

Thanks for the message!

From what I’m reading it looks like I might just have to wait 24 hours for google to recrawl the site and clear their AMP cache.

I was playing around with two AMP plugins AMP by Automatic and
AMP for WP

I seem to have destroyed the mobile version of the theme by installing them, it’s stuck on AMP and won’t revert by uninstalling them. Deleted all caches and saved permalinks.

Is there anyway of reverting the changes without resorting to a backup? Thanks.

Here’s what the mobile theme is stuck likeAMP site

Hi,

That was a design choice for that particular demo. The author name, date and comment count are not displayed on modules in the Say What demo.
If you would like to make them display, you could remove this code from the demo stylesheet
https://www.screencast.com/t/uuQykuLe
Then the post meta will be displayed normally on modules, if enabled in the theme panel
https://www.screencast.com/t/mDs7I7pt7p

Maybe try clearing the cache after making the modification just in case, if you have caching installed.

Thanks

Hello,

This could be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

Thank you!

Hello awoodhams,

Try to add the !important tag next to the value of this property and in that way you add more priority to your code and it will work as expected. Clear all the caches and check the results.

.vc_tta-title-text{
font-size:14px!important;
color:red!important;
}

Thanks for your understanding!

ello,

We know of 3 possible causes for this issue.
1) The wp super cache setting to cache page. Please only use these settings in wp super cache: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
If you use any other cache plugin, make sure you do not cache pages for known users or for logged in users depending on the plugin setting.

2) Do not use this setting in seo by yoast: https://www.screencast.com/t/n8Cc35EofLh

3) Editing a page that was previously built with another page builder.

Hello mikyasferhat,

After this, please ensure that your system status parameters are increased according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ Clear all the caches and check the results.

Hello msimktg,

Do you have cleared all of your caches after this? Also, I suggest you make a new clean install from scratch via FTP way and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme core files and use only the tested plugins if you want to achieve good theme results. Please keep in mind that theme mega menu works and expected and if it used according to our documentation, you cannot get any errors with it, sorry!

Hope this helps and let us know how it goes after you will follow my above advice.

Hello,

The only tested and recommended plugins to use with our theme are these ones:

Tested Plugins:

WP Super Cache- caching plugin
Contact form 7- used to make contact forms
bbPress- forum plugin
BuddyPress- social network plugin
Font Awesome 4 Menus- icon pack, supported in the theme menus
Jetpack- plugin with lots of features *it may slow down your site
WooCommerce- eCommerce solution
WordPress (Yoast) SEO- SEO plugin
Wp User Avatar- Change users avatars

Anything beyond this list is not tested and I cannot say for sure if it will work or not.

Thanks.

@mdeleon

That is not a similar issue. You are facing a totally different issue. Please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

Hi,

That should not happen, and it means something is not functioning as it should. The mobile version should only be displayed on mobile, that is the way it was designed. This issue happens only when conflicts happen between plugins or with some caching plugins.
Making the mobile version display on desktop is not possible on demand. It would require major changes in the theme even if it were.
It would be best if you would try and use the theme properly, for the best results. Try using this caching plugin instead
https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/

Thanks
