HI

Thanks @Chris for your help!

@JimReser
the wp-config.php is a core file from WordPress and the theme don’t make any changes in it. Try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches, purge the cdn files if you’re suing then test the site again.

Thanks!

Hello

I suppose that you are referring to the appearance of a flash when you enter on your website…firstly is loaded a style and then will appear another style, right? This behaviour appears when you have additional customization through custom CSS code. Please notice that the CSS are working in cascade and the first time will take the code from style.css that is set it by default and then the theme will take the custom code that you have changed from Theme panel and practically this flash is generated by this cause. As a workaround, you have to check your style.css and try to add directly in this file your desired custom code. So, if your problem is still there, please try to revert the theme to the default settings, without any customizations and let us know how it goes. Also, you can try to make a new fresh install from scratch with the latest version of the theme and check the results. Also, please make sure every time you cleared caches. Noticed that the only files where you will have to edit is style.css.

Thanks for the message!

Hi

The name of custom post type is td_book and you use in block settings td_books that’s why there is no post displayed there. Try to use td_book, clear all caches then test the site again.

Let us know how it goes.
Thanks!

Hello aliqayyum,

Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out any conflicting plugins. Clear all your caches, remove server caches (if you do not have any access to do it, request this task to the service provider).

For your second request, please notice that the speed of your website depends on how well your site is optimized. Please notice that this is not a simple task and if you do not have any experience in this regard you will do not bring good results for the theme. Also, notice that we have a speed optimization tutorial but this is addressed only to advanced users. So, if you follow the steps which are presented in this tutorial here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ you can increase the page speed loading and if you are not aware of the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because the speed optimization services is not covered by our support policy, as you can read here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/support-policy-2/ Check our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ regarding on dedicated server to fit to our requirements.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for your understanding!

This is the list of the plugins i use on that site:

AdBlock Detector
Limit Login Attempts
Optimus
Quick Adsense
Resize Image After Upload
W3 Total Cache

I have server with 2x Intel Xeon E5 2620 v3, 128 GB DDR4 RAM, 3×500 GB SSD HARDWARE RAID 5. It’s a cPanel server with Cloudlinux and Memcached installed. This server should be able to handle at least 5000 users online at the same time… I also had this problem on 2 other server that i tried last 5 days, so this is not the server related problem.

Most of the time i have more than 1000 user online and it’s working without any problems, average server load is 1.5. But sometimes i have problems when i have only 200 user online, server load goes to high and my website goes offline.

What could be causing this problem?

Hi, thanks for that, did not see it šŸ™‚

We’ve enabled the custom sizes for mobile, however, some ads work correctly:

result:

Other don’t work:

Result:

We’ve basically set all mobile sizes to 320×50, cleared caches, but still no luck. Also tried it on a real phone (not the Chrome simulator) and the same there.

Cheers!

Sorry. I’m not available for consulting at this time, and don’t promote my own services via this forum.

If you’re very good at SEO, then you likely don’t need me.

See Google’s info about changing site layout and how this can impact initial SERPS.

Also, read the YOAST tutorials in regard to your original question regarding “focus keywords” which has nothing whatsoever to do with the theme.

Main factors are
a) good content
b) optimizations for Google; page speed, https, AMP compatibility; meta data and markup
c) basic site optimizations for caching, minification, compression, ttl, opcache/memcache, http/2, mod_pagespeed, et al

Theme is not the mission critical aspect of any of that.

Good luck!

Sorry. Css worked (must been a cache).

Best wishes

HI

There seems to be a css issue, on the homepage you have a container added by some plugin. This container goes over content, that’s why the posts can’t be clicked.
Try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches then test the site again.
Thanks!

I have cut off all plugins and dropped the cache. Also check on the local server. The information sent by e-mail.

Hello,
Please follow this topic as there is a conflict between wp super cache and the latest version of WP and your problem sounds exactly like this one: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-theme-problems-3/

Thank you!

Hello,
This type of errors is usually caused by a javascript error. This in most cases is a plugin conflict. Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. Then test again.
If this does not fix it, then please also check for any js optimization or custom code added in the child theme that can cause problems with our theme. Try to get the theme as close to the original as possible regarding customization (through code. theme panel settings do not count except for the custom code boxes)
Thank you!

Hi

@goforward
ajax post view counter update page views when is enabled and a cache plugin is used. You can deactivate it from theme panel > post settings but the theme won’t count post’s views if you’re using cache: http://screencast.com/t/NdEKOddFp

Thanks!

Hi

I am not sure why the link is not working anymore but it could be an issue with your the custom css used. Try to update the theme at V 3.2 which is available on themeforest, remove the custom css, clear all caches then test the site again.

Thanks!
