for me it doesn’t say “mobile menu”, but “modal menu”, so I don’t have the same options as you…
Could you make a video of the complete operation starting from your WordPress dashboard because I can’t reproduce the same thing as you…
I have a tagdiv site set up – 2anews.co
I’m having a hard time with the single templates. When I used the standard theme template, it embeds the video if I select Post Format = Video.
Once I change it over to the custom cloud template that I’d like to use, it just shows a static thumbnail as the hero image. even after i select post format = video when creating a post

Got cloud templates setup and working for posts and header, but when I try to set a homepage it gives back the error:
tpl card set global tpl error: missing template id or invalid nonce
Tried updating the theme, re-installing both theme and plugin, but nothing seems to fix it.

I use Wordfence..so I set it to Learning and even deactivated the plugin temporarily, purged and still it didn’t work.
I also double checked Cloudflare – Rocket Loader is set to off.
🙁 Hitting Edit content opens opens the window, but the editor does not load. It was working I think till before I updated. This is the first time after the update am trying and it isn’t working, so not sure what happened there.

Please check the console and see which errors you encounter. Normally, if you click on that button, the WP Editor will open and you can add some text/code/shortcode there. Close the WP Editor from X, save the changes from Composer and view the page to see the changes.
It’s possible to be from the firewall or security module which blocks the admin-ajax.php request, which usually displays a 403 or 404 error.
If you don’t use a security plugin, please ask your host about this, maybe you have a security module that blocks this.
If you use a plugin like Wordfence please set it in learning mode.
Also, if you are using Cloudflare, please make sure that is set as in our guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/, you need to disable the Rocket Loader.

Maybe question is stupid. For dekstop I use cloud template.
On homepage I would like to have at the top of the home page block with some category and then loop block.
Problem is that when I click on pagination that first block is on every loop pagination page.
I know I could you use for homepage “Pagebuilder + lastest articles + pagination” but in that case I loose flexebility to format loop.

Please check the console when you try to save the changes made in Theme Panel maybe is possible to be from the firewall or security module which blocks the admin-ajax.php request, which usually displays a 403 or 404 error.

It should be a simple one click installation that has everything done like the demo site. I don’t understand why it doesn’t do all the steps, and I have to go to cloud and recreate mega menu.

Hi jdearing, unfortunately the answerer is somehow similar.
We didn’t tested the theme with the Amazon CloudFront, but we have clients that use it and with the right configurations the CloudFront is working ok with our theme.
From what I remember there was need to exclude some files and actions, like icons, admin-ajax.php

If you created the mobile pages with tagDiv Composer, then when you install the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).

So, the mobile responsive is what you see then that you select the viewport on phone => https://www.screencast.com/t/matV17hH, so some settings may apply for each viewport(where is the border blue), and others are not(where the border is black).

Mobile responsive version of the theme and the mobile page editor can be edited with tagDiv Composer, the mobile theme plugin not.
For example, you can have the mobile theme plugin activated and use the mobile page/mobile responsive version for the homepage/pages, but for the categories pages/404 page you can’t use the mobile page/mobile responsive version if you have the mobile theme plugin activated.
So, if you want to design the pages with tagDiv Composer, you can use the mobile page or mobile responsive version.

Indeed, there is some issue with Disqus, if you use a cloud template, for standard template works.
Also, you can try to use a column text/ text with title/raw HTML element to the page/post and then drop the Disqus Universal Code in the text section -> https://i.imgur.com/vVOaKfU.pn and there should be no more problems.

I’m using Gossip Cloud Template for Desktop version and created a mobile page version from the same style. The problem is that when I visit through my mobile phone, most of the times, the Gossip Style doesn’t load, and I only get a default style for single page. I’m running a FB campaign and just had the bad news when I clicked on my own link 🙁

What are the image paths for the social icons and other image in the Newspaper theme? I apparently need to keep Cloudfront from caching those images for them to display…
So I’ve encountered this same issue with the Newspaper theme when using Cloudfront.. Surely your answer still isn’t that you only support one CDN host..

3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and designs for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout.
