TD Multi-Purpose 2.1.2 (I by choice had to use 1.0 before this)
Theme Status – All Green
I see no shortcodes now, I am glad this is fixed. However all my font-awesome and other icons on home page are lost.

Something must be wrong, when you delete an element first a confirmation window should appear and as soon as you accept it will be removed

Entire rows can be removed by dragging them to the right corner.
I would suggest that you first check the theme system status panel

If necessary ask your hosting provider to increase the allocated resources, according to the guide. Then check if the composer works properly.
If there is still a problem, please deactivate all plugins except theme plugins, check if this has any effect. Also test with a different browser to see if the same things happens.

I saw that but the problem is I didn’t added that. I just added ” all4gamingro ” the insta ID in the td composer. the # is added whatever I do
I’m missing a very simple thing. How to create links, for example from buttons to another page of the same page. How to link a blok say two scrolls down? is there a way to add identity to those blocks to use in links?

So by installing and activating the latest multi-purpose plugin from the latest theme version, your homepage displays shortcodes.
That would not be possible, the multi-purpose shortcodes will be displayed as elements if the tagDiv composer and multi-purpose plugin are active.

These work properly and we made multiple tests with them. Maybe in your case there is a plugin conflict. Deactivate all plugins except theme plugins, then check again.

Ensure that your homepage has been made with TD Composer and not with Visual Composer because can appears some errors in this case. Notice that we do not recommend to use both page builder at the same time because might appears some conflicts.

Both previous updates contained mostly fixes, there were no major modifications or additions that would cause update problems. It would be best to use the latest version, there were some useful fixes like the Chrome composer flicker issue and Facebook social counter fix.
Please try to update by FTP, that is the most reliable method in this matter. Follow the steps presented in the guide and everything should go fine.
On themeforest only the latest theme version is provided at all times, so unless you make backups of the theme packages there would be no download link in the themeforest theme page for older versions.
I’ve got my layout done. I have (on my homepage) the content on the left (it’s blank right now) and my sidebar on the right. I’d like to add 3 static elements on the content side (Photo/Video/Photo)…none of them have anything to do with a post…it’s just branding “stuff”. I’ve looked in TD Composer but I can’t seem to find the right layout….suggestions?

Too bad, the above site is the only reason I purchased the theme and plugin. What a waste!
Looking at the fact that the plugin works perfectly on category pages and when the site is set to show latest post on front page, it’s safe to say it’s because the theme is using your composer to show contents on front page.
You mean you really can’t offer any help or guide? The plugin is working with your theme but doesn’t work when a page is used as homepage.
Again the only problem is that when a custom page is set as homepage, the post that appear on the site homepage which are supposed to take someone to external links were the contents were aggregated from doesn’t work on homepage but it works well on category pages.
It doesn’t really look like a big problem. I really do need help with this please.
Again what the plugin does is to aggregate contents from specified sites. The contents come in as standard WordPress post. The only difference is that the plugin has an option to set that people should be taken to the source website to read the post when they click on it. So the permalink points to the source website instead of the post page on WP.

Thank you, that tipped worked. Somehow I did something today I get the same problem again. But this time it won’t fix it (even with the guide I can’t solve the problem).
When you go to my website : ‘www.testpagina.brainer.nl’ and want to edit the homepage with td-composer. You’ll only get to see the code.
It’s weird because I only get to see the code when I try to edit. This means I can’t edit my homepage anymore.

Why do you want to use Elementor plugin when the theme has its own page builder? Notice that plugin has not been tested with our theme and also, we cannot say for sure if it will work or not as expected with the theme and theme’s elements, sorry! We recommend using the TD Composer or Visual Composer as page builder which works as expected with our theme.

Also, I have inspected your website and I saw that you are using some untested plugins which can interact with the theme core files and causes a lot of unknown issues like this.

That would happen if the tagDiv composer plugin is also active. Basically if you use WPBakery page builder for pages and posts, the tagDiv composer must be deactivated. Then there will be no problem.

Once imported, configure it to display the posts you want. Enter the slider ID in the tagDiv composer

That would mean that you are using an older version of the theme. That flicker is caused by Chrome and it happens as you edit a page with the tagDiv composer. This is fixed in the latest theme version. Please see the changelog here

The website you provided does not use the Newspaper theme fully from what I can see at the moment. On posts the theme applies partly, the homepage seems to be built with a different builder.
There are also issues with the usability of the website and loading. The menu cannot be used properly, the post pages are broken

@EmmyThx Please deactivate the tagDiv composer plugin. If both WPBakery page builder as well as the tagDiv composer are active, there will be issues.
The single image element will be affected by both of them and the resulting image will not display properly.
Should you decide to use WPBakery as the page builder and posts builder for your website, deactivate the tagDiv composer and there should be no problem.
