Hi,
As far as I know the latest version of Visual composer is 5.3. The version currently provided in the theme package is 5.2.1. You should not update the plugin (if the option is available) until officially supported and included in the theme package
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
We will test the updated plugin version and only them bundle it with the theme.
Thanks
Hi and sorry.
Can we update to Visual Composer 5.4 if we use theme 8.1?
When theme 8.2 will be released?
Thanks.
So what happens is usually when I open a specific page for the first time, I am greeted with some sort of code.

Is this something to do with visual composer?
Hi,
1. Here you can find more information about the sidebars, and smart sidebars
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/smart-sidebar-2/
Also the tagDiv composer
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
Each block can have a post limit set, you can control the amount of posts it displays
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/
Like in this example
– https://www.screencast.com/t/go01B8jTmc
– https://www.screencast.com/t/JOKPEkFZlI8
Then maybe add a different row and split that as well in any way you like, and so on
– https://www.screencast.com/t/iqewtV4s
2. That will be the order of the page content on mobile. Sidebars will be displayed below the main content, for each row. You could set a smart sidebar in one row, that will always be in view (sticky), not multiple sidebars for different rows.
You can experiment with different settings and layouts until you create the result you want.
Please let us know if you have more questions, or you require further help.
Thanks
Hi,
Please check the theme system status and make modifications to the server and WordPress parameters mentioned in this guide, if necesarry
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
You could ask your hosting provider to make them for you, they might have a recommended method in this matter. These general parameters can influence the functionality of the theme and plugins.
Please let us know if there still is a problem with the composer after making the changes.
Thanks
Hi,
There are two ways of setting a sidebar for a page built with the composer. One way is to simply split the row on the page like this
– https://www.screencast.com/t/zuriAKnU
And enter elements in the resulting sidebar section. The other method is to use a Widget sidebar, in which you can select from your available sidebars
– https://www.screencast.com/t/EvO9AGMq
More information about sidebars here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/smart-sidebar-2/
Removing the sidebar will require to open the page with the composer, and make your desired modifications to it.
Please let us know if you require further help, or you have more questions.
Thanks
Hello jchcity,
You should have access to all of the Blocks from TD Composer, as you can see in our tutorial. Make sure that you are using the latest theme version on your side and then, check your system status parameters to be increased according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ Probably, your PHP memory has exhausted and that’s why you cannot have access to all theme’s settings. Try to do this, clear all the caches and check the results.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello, I have a problem with this:
Errors happened during tdcIframeData.init() -> bindViewsModelsWrappers()!
I read all the questions and answers regarding this issue, I installed WP Super Cache to clear all the caches, but TD Composer doesn’t work. Can you help with this, please?
Thank you!
Heyy Simion,
Thanks for the ideas after a few hours of logfile checking i was figure out what has happened.
The problem was that when i uninstalled the Black version demo ( in my understanding after uninstall, it is going back to the original state so it also uninstalls both the tagDiv Social Counter and Composer plugins, and also deletes its directories.) But for a strange reason in the WP admin the tagDiv Social Counter remained installed, only its files and directories were deleted during the uninstall process. When i installed another demo only the Composer had to be installed again, the tagDiv Social Counter looked fine. And when I’ve tried to activate it, of course it was not able to find the necessary files, that is why it crashed.
Now I’ve deleted it in wp admin, and re-installed and it is working fine.

I have updated theme from 4.6.1 but i am unable to update visual composer. What i am making wrong?
Hello,
we have used different themes previously and all of them have option to add a text section (where you insert the shortcode) or dedicated code section in the builder/composer. With this theme, we can’t get this to work.
We have a page designed with tag/div and now would like to add a gallery shortcode from the Master Gallery plugin as that one looks and functions as we’d like. We’d like to move it around in the composer and see how it interacts with other content and sections and so on.
Thought that maybe title and text section would help me with this, but currently this doesen’t work either as it stays with loading icon, when I try to edit the content are of this section.
How can we add custom elements with shortcodes into the page edited by tag div?
One other point I’m stuck on: how to access/use the full range of elements — Big Grids, blocks etc — in tagdiv composer? I’ve been editing a page and can access/use the blocks but nothing else…
This is what I see in the ‘add element’ sidebar: https://www.evernote.com/l/AAsW0mgdajZCmqN3r_oDCOrcrYqIHPUn7Y0
Not the full range of elements that appear in your video, in which the user scrolls down a long list of elements: https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=51&v=N2wGizMz4X0 as here: https://www.evernote.com/l/AAsIpXu2wZ9PxLmzpWL7Sve_lKDc213H-VE
thanks
Hi,
If you would like to reduce the space between those blocks
– https://www.screencast.com/t/jxjjMcuM0MU
You could set a negative top margin for the block below, or a negative bottom margin for the top block, with the composer
– https://www.screencast.com/t/VRyhnmOgMO
Or try some Custom CSS, like this for example
– https://www.screencast.com/t/eJU6ZHzfZ
.home .td_block_21 {
margin-top: -48px;
}
Thanks
Hi!
I’m having a little trouble on decreasing dhe block space here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B0kbj5CETpoNOUE4QTY4Zk16SGM in this page http://www.shije.life, in Visual Composer I set padding marging to 0px and still the blocks appear distant to each other, I would like to decrease further more the space between them (vertically)! Please help me on this, how can I control this parameter…
Thank you!

Hello juanca8888,
Please refer to the next useful topic here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/error-with-td-composer/
Thanks.
Hi all, im getting this error when i try to use the TAG Composer:
Errors happened during tdcIframeData.init() -> bindViewsModelsWrappers()!
Thanks!
Hi,
The ajax filter used on blocks can filter by categories, authors, tags or popularity
– https://www.screencast.com/t/tTVktITpG
The Visual composer tabs are not related to this filter. The sections you create can only have a custom name and icon. I though you wanted to make the tabs similar to the ajax filter design, that is what the above code does.
Thanks
Hi,
That message is displayed when the Big Grid is placed on anything else then a full row layout
– https://www.screencast.com/t/iRXVpdXG
Big grids have to be placed only on full rows
– https://www.screencast.com/t/W6H6ALgzsh
Edit the page with the composer and place the grid on a full row, the message will not be displayed anymore and the grid will appear on the page.
Thanks
Hmmm.. In that case, is there any other ways to use theme or visual composer options to use something similar from the left side? Things what you see left side, when I looked through I was able to see that only things I can use there is categories. But maybe I missed something somewhere and there is actually possible to use popular posts and other things too?
Hello lavr0003,
I have inspected your website and I saw that your content has been added with Visual Composer. Also, notice that the mobile theme does not recognize any page builder shortcodes and that’s why you cannot see this content for mobile devices, sorry! If you want to customize your mobile pages with some of the content, notice that you have to do this from Mobile editor which is placed at the bottom of the page editor, under the normal page editor. For more information about this plugin, please check the following documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Hope this helps!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
For the moment there is no similar option in TagDiv composer, but please note that this page builder is only at the beginning of development. Many more options and features will be implemented for it over future updates. There are many plans in this regard. I could not say when exactly such a feature will be available however.
Thanks
I want to delete some blocks at the end of my homepage however for some reason I do not get the option to delete blocks on the lower half of my homepage in the TD composer. I’m using the Gadgets Demo template. The blocks I cannot edit/delete are titled “HOTS NEWS” “APPLICATIONS” and “LATEST ARTICLES”.
Hello, I already installed the magazine theme/template, and tagDiv composer is active. Yet the result I get is as shown in the screenshot.
Hi,
Those look like shortcodes of some kind, in that page structure. If you would like the same layout like the magazine demo, you simply have to install it
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/
Make sure the tagDiv composer plugin is active, although it should be automatically activated when the theme is installed
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
Then install the demo you want. Let us know if there are further issue installing the demo.
When it comes to page speed, this is a widely debated subject. There are many topics, tutorials and guides here on the forum. Some of them here

I like the new TagDiv Composer; it is indeed more intuitive than VC.
The one thing that was easy to do in VC was add custom shortcodes. Is there a way to do likewise in TC?
