I even didn’t install it, looks like it was installed automaticaly after i updated theme from 6 to 8.
And after i deleted it via ftp it appeared there again. I tried many times, but it doesn’t help, TD Composer and TD Social Counter are downloading automatically on my website.
And i couldn’t even delete it from admin panel.
The only thing which helps is chmod 600 for the folders with these plugins, but it seems it’s not how it should work.
Could you tell me how can i totally delete them, because of TD Composer my website stop working.
I can select the height, but the width is full screen, even if I select for example 100×100 it shows full widht. I have to use TadDivComposer (blue second button on the top of editing pages) to change the height, because using visual composer al always there is no way to change it, simply it doesn’t work.

At the moment there is no option for saving templates, unfortunately. Something like this may be added in future theme updates, but I could not say for sure when exactly this will happen. Please note that the tagDiv composer will receive more options and features in these updates.

I use Newspaper 8 and VC composer. Now i have just white screen instead of my website.

I deleted td composer from plugin directory and everything worked fine, but somehow it appeared there again and again the same error.

We have a lot of pages build up with the same layout, just different content.
Is it not possible to save a layout as a template with TD Composer – just like with Visual Composer?
Or do we have to create them from scratch each time?

I ran into issues creating the Smart Sidebar.
Newspaper 8 Tutorials – tagDiv Composer 3 minutes Page Configuration
At 1.59 of this video, you taught to create smart sidebar by clicking rows to change it so that we can have a smart sidebar. Everything was fine till selection, i was not able to select the part where i want to insert the smart size bar, instead, it selected the whole page. Resulting in that the slider grides on top be shrunk as well.
The selection once i hit the row, it will auto select the full page, no idea why and i am not able to add the smart sidebar.
Full Page Selection- I cannot just select one slide or gride as it will alway become a full Page selection
When that happens, my top gride will disappear and warn me i cannot do it.
Please help.
Question 2 – I am not able to edit on Home Page by default, Tagdiv composer only appear on every other page i create but never the first page.
Any reason or did i do something wrong?

@thesussexrag, notice that with TD Composer you cannot edit a category page, sorry but I do not know where exactly did you see this, sorry! Notice that our page builder was fully tested and seems to work as expected if it was right installed according to our documentation. Provide more screenshots with your problem so I can identify it if you have something like this.
@shaker, ensure that you are using the latest theme version which comes bundled with the theme packet and also, checks your WP version to be the latest one. If your website is anchored in Visual Composer, you will have to further use the Visual Composer plugin, sorry! Notice that our page builder is a required plugin and the transitions between these two pages builders can be done only on the manually way, sorry! If you have more such pages and posts which were made with Visual Composer then you should stay on this page builder because you will not found all the elements which Visual Composer has and in this case, we cannot help you, sorry! From now on, the TD Composer plugin will be improved with some features which have to be exclusively for this builder.
What I want to mention here is that our page builder has not been designed to be used for post pages and will not be implemented this option in the future, sorry!

I have updated to Newspaper8 from 7 and now all pictures in every page (not in posts) are full width screen and I select a different size in the visual composer as I have done always but it’s not working.
I have tried to delete the pics and add new ones but same issue happened.
Any idea?

Missing something obvious here, I’m sure – I’ve downloaded the sample td-api-plugin files and placed that folder in the plugins folder. I can’t find, though, anywhere to activate block77 so that I can use it in TD composer.
What have I missed?
I have updated to Newspaper 8 and am in the process of editing all the pages on my site with the TD Composer. A little extra unexpected work but no big deal. The problem I have is with all my posts, they are all ruined. I have extra content like podcast episode players, t-shirt images and slideshows, revolution slider elements, image gallerys, extra TD-blocks for other posts and categories; and none of these can be customised using Visual Composer because anything that is in the main post is HIDDEN by the sidebar! The main content of the post sits under the sidebar and is all measured incorrectly! I have tried removing the sidebar completely and you can see the entire post but this is obviously not an option! Surely you guys can add this functionality to the theme? The VC elements still work, they are just measured incorrectly on the page! If I could reduce the main content by 30% it would probably fit! Any ideas or suggestions?
So following up on this, I have the same problem with every single one of my posts! I add extra content to the posts on the site, podcast episode players, t-shirt images, tabbed lists; and the customisation available from Visual Composer in these posts is fine! The only thing that doesn’t seem to work is the sidebar sits on top of the content! Surely there is a way to fix this?

The interesting fact is that from the 3 administrators, this break of code only happens in two users. Do we solve this issue by updating to Newspaper 8? What about our edits, will we lose all changes we’ve made to files such as Custom Ad Boxes getting created? The colors of the menus/submenus, images, and/or their formats?

Thanks for the response, but that video doesn’t show anything about installing via FTP, just installing the demos which I have been testing.
I did the install inside WordPress using the Appearance –> Themes –> Add New and from the newspaper.zip folder. Then, installed a demo theme.
The only single place that “Edit with TD Composer” appears, is on the home page. Nowhere else and only them is some demos not all of them.
Nowhere have I ever seen the “Edit with TD Composer” link on a category, which is shown is some of the promotional videos.
I have the latest install, as it was only bought a week ago.

Hi,
The mobile theme is optional and meant to improve the performance of a website, by displaying a different variant. It comes with predefined templates for the homepage, posts, categories etc. It will not display pages built with composers, or that contain particular widgets or other complex elements. Adding content for the mobile pages is limited to the mobile editor at the moment

There will be no downside if you are not using the mobile plugin. The main theme is perfectly capable to display the best results on all devices.

Check your list with installed plugins and check if the Visual Composer or TD Composer is enabled. You will bring these shortcodes because one of these is not active. we recommend using the TD Composer. 3) We recommend using the tagdiv composer, not visual composer as we will no longer develop new options for visual composer but rather for our own page builder. Both page builders only work on pages in our theme.
4) On pages, the modules and blocks in our theme will only show a thumbnail of the video .you will not be able to play the video except by accessing the post and playing it from there.
5) Sorry but there is no plugin that can tie into our page builder. You will have to use the tiny mce editor provided as on the web there is no editor like word. On the web fonts and sizes are changed through css and coding. The theme panel offers font settings but they will affect more elements, not just the box you want to affect.

I guess that here is talking about a plugin which allows you to edit the Author page, like Author Box’s Visual Composer. Is it an addon of Visual Composer, right? Sorry, but our theme does not have this type of plugin to be tested and we have no idea about the behavior of the theme with it, sorry! All the options available for Author template can be found in Theme panel, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/5oert2rcK Also, if you want to add any other HTML structure to your Author page, you should do it yourself through editing the code from author.php file -> https://www.screencast.com/t/gfOjPkElt2PG. If you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom services at the moment, sorry!

It seems there is a problem people are facing with this issue but the visual composer team claim the option workds properly so we can assume it’s not a bug in the visual composer code but rather something else affecting it.
This could be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except the visual composer and woocommerce, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

Due to an oversight, it seems that tagDiv composer was not included in the list of permitted plugins. This will disable the Speedbooster. We will make the necessary modifications in the next theme update so it will not be inactive when the tagDiv editor is detected.

Unfortunately, notice that the TD Composer does not have any such an option that allows you to manage the Category pages, sorry! All of these can be managed only from Theme panel or from the theme core files via custom code. Yes, if you want to move to the new page builder, you will have to recreate your pages using the tagdiv composer and disable visual composer as both at the same time will not work properly.
