Hello jitin bahri,
As I have explained you above, your pages created with Visual Composer will not be displayed on mobile mode if you are using Mobile Theme plugin because this has not been designed to recognize the shortcode generated by Visual Composer. Please try to disable the mobile plugin and the theme will be automatically switched to the general responsive mode and the mobile version will work as properly (in responsive mode).
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello,
Please switch to a wp default theme and use the same implementation and see if that works. Our theme does not change the embed method from wp. You can simply place the youtube url (not iframe) in the post content even in visual mode and WP should grab the video and embed it like so:
http://screencast.com/t/y0WQmdMP That was a youtube video url pasted inside the post in visual mode. It works on the front-end as well.
Please also try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it as it could also be a plugin conflict
Thank you!
Hi,
My developer fixed the responsiveness but the text is still not showing unless I disable JQuery, though I need that plugin and it’s one of the more trusted pin-it plugins. I write paragraphs of text under each H title tag in the smart list and they’re not showing up.
I’m getting a notice that there’s an update to visual composer… my developer seems to think that’s the issue. How can I find the latest version of that?

Hi
I’ve just tested custom ads on my side and they work fine on my end. Below is the shortcode from Visual Composer which generated this rezult: http://screencast.com/t/bDBmu5rHS
[vc_row][vc_column][td_block_ad_box spot_id="custom_ad_1"][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][td_block_ad_box spot_id="custom_ad_3"][/vc_column][/vc_row]
I am not sure why this happens on your site but there is a change to be a mistake in ad code. Please check the codes added in custom ad spots and make sure that they must generate different results.
Let us know how it goes and if the problem persist please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your login credentials and we will inspect this issue as soon as possible, also include a link to this topic.
Thanks!
yes sir i dont have knowledge. thankyou for your reply
my issue now is , i have create static home page with visual composer. it displays on laptop and pc but it does not work in mobile. how to resolve this issue thanku in advance
Hi Catalin
I think I figuerd it out.
I’m using the Visual Composer and if I understand things correctly I can’t use the default sidebar option. I need to add the element “widgetised sidebar” instead, like you described in your answer.
Is that correct?

Well the demo has no excerot at all. Look. If you do not know how to set up a homepage, please use this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/homepage-how-to-build-and-set-it/
There are 2 types of homepages you can use in our theme and on every theme out there.
A static page and a blog template. The blog template can only be changed from here: http://screencast.com/t/FFoHn6Mr6vKb
As for the homepge, you can use visual composer and build it as you want. Excerpts can be controled from the excerpts section or you can use a block that has no excerpts.
I hope this helps
Thank you!
Hello jitin bahri,
I suppose that you do not understand very good how mobile theme works, right? So, please notice that this theme concept intend to display a Big Grid feature at the top of homepage which shows the posts which are included in Featured category, then will show a text which you added in Mobile Editor in Visual Composer from backend and at the very bottom of the page you will bring the Latest Articles module. Please keep in mind that the Mobile Theme do not recognize the Visual Composer shortcode and that’s why you get this error on your side. So, for more information about our mobile theme, please check the documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ If you are unhappy with this layout, and if you want to have the similar structure with our demo mobile, you will simply turn off the mobile plugin and the theme will be automatically switched to the general responsive mobile mode.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello enestedt,
Please provide your website URL so I can inspect it closer. Do you are using the page builder+latest articles+pagination as page template? If you are using that page template, please notice that the Sidebar will be displayed automatically for Latest Articles Modules and for your first part of your front page (page builder content) you will have to use the Visual Composer to create your own sidebar, using the Widgetized Sidebar element, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/gTu0uz2x For roe information about sidebar, please consult our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/smart-sidebar-2/
Thanks for your understanding!
sir , mobile theme is having issue. i created home page using visual composer and now when i open website using mobile, codes are coming instead of page please helpme
my name is jitin bahri
Hi Justin,
1) I’m not sure why you say wp super cache is no longer available. You can download it from here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-super-cache/
Nothings has changed
2) It can be a plugin conflict but that is not a theme related error. It is a wordpress file that is mentioned in the error message. The theme is under wp-content/theme/newspaper/ not in wp-includes. Please make sure your wordpress install is up and running before installing the theme.
Plugins can also be a reason for it so test it without plugins by disabling all of them except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files.
Thank you!
Hi,
I have checked your site but did not see any responsiveness problem at the moment.
If you do have further issues, please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Some untested plugins create issues with our theme and break the layout whether you need the plugin or not. Every premium theme has this issue. Here is a list of tested and approved plugins: http://screencast.com/t/p5EzWXkqo5jY
Thank you!
Hello,
Please make sure wordpress works first before installing the theme. Remove the theme and make sure your wordpress install is Ok and running. Then follow this guide to install your theme properly: https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
Also disable all plugins except visual composer as sometimes plugins can also cause conflicts.
Let us know how it goes
Thank you!
Hi
Try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches then test the site again. Also make sure that the parameters from system status have at least the value indicated here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
You can also check browser’s console while you’re saving the settings in theme panel. If the settings can’t be saved usually there should be a 403 or 404 error on admin-ajax.php file. The theme makes many requests to admin-ajax.php file the security module fro your server may treat it as a thread. In this situation that file is banned and the theme can’t access it anymore. Try to contact your host provider and ask him if you that file is banned or if there is any firewall on the server which may block the request.
Thanks!
Hi Bogdan,
I can confirm that selecting “default page template” is working.
I have to select this setting for each page and use the visual composer to populate the page.
Many thanks !
Regards,
Steve
Hi,
I am also unable to add layout elements using Visual Composer. I currently have Visual Composer as the only plugin. I also cleared the cache. I do not use any CDN files.
Amanda
You want to check this:

I’m still stuck my friend..I contacted the theme’s staff and given them wp-admin and ftp access..Hopefully they’ll sort it out..
Thanks for your help.
Hello,
Unfortunately pages cannot have an image outside of the content. They are a different matter altogether. I;m not even sure about the difference between the 2 images you pointed out. One is up next to the menu and the second one has a bit of padding. That’s all. You can add full width images on pages if you want by stretching the row and content like this example homepage: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_travel/
To do that simply create a row in visual composer and then select stretch row and content and then add an image to it like so: http://screencast.com/t/0N7logJP797
If you prefer the coding method, you will need to modify a page template. There are 3 page templates in our theme: http://screencast.com/t/5f6U6nfgw7
You can edti the page templates and add images as the category images like so:
<?php
if (is_page(13)) {
echo do_shortcode('[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image="887"][/vc_column][/vc_row]')
}
elseif (is_page(14)){
echo do_shortcode('[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image="886"][/vc_column][/vc_row]')
}
?>
I hope this helps.
Thank you!
Hi,
Over almost half a year I have this problem,
I can not save the settings in the theme panel, only infinity loading.
I tried it all
– Deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches then test again
– I tried to put ModSecurity to OFF
– My System Status parameters were as you specified
– change php from 5.4 to 7.0
– I do not have a plugin for firewall like Wordfence or other
– Much more I tried
in Google Chrome Console throws this when I press save

Hello Thanos,
Please notice that our demo has been designed to use the Big Grid 5 in that section and I noticed that you are using the Big Grid 7. Please notice that each demo has own design and if you will change the Visual Composer elements may be appeared some differences. Try the code below and place it in Theme panel->Cusotm CSS area.
The code is ->
.td_block_big_grid_7 .td-module-empty.td-big-grid-post {
padding-right: 1px;
}
For more customizations if you are not aware, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom work.
Thanks.
Thank you Catalin for your message.
That’s right, one pic (same) for all of the pages! What you suggested is a nice idea but it’s not gonna work for our design. Option we used on single post (https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/header-imageevery-categoryevery-post-different-image/ ) is perfect for what we need. That is a solution you recommended to us for our first website.
There is a huge visual difference.
Example with Visual Composer image :
http://picpaste.com/pics/4INUI72P.1476106305.jpg
Example we integrated in a singlepost.php following the instructions above (as in singlepost.php)
http://picpaste.com/pics/OQV5Iizr.1476106340.jpg
We want to apply the SAME on singlepage.php If you have a look at the post on the link provided above, you will se that pic isn’t inside a td-main-content-wrap div but above it.
This link below and solution is of key importance for what we are doing, only difference is that we want to do THE SAME for singlepage.php (single page).

Thank you for your effort
Hello AyrtonSenna – A Tribute to Life,
I suppose that you want to add a new image for each page, right? So, please notice that you can do this thing just only use the Visual Composer and insert with Single Image element your desired photo where you want to appear in the page, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/yL4u4cPlSbH
Hope this helps!
Thanks.
Bogdan,
After testing several methods I’ve found a way to post Amazon Ads in the Newspaper theme.
I installed the Plugin ‘Amazon Link’ and input my Amazon AWS account Public Key and Private Key in the plugin settings.
Under Amazon Form Settings selected ‘iframe image’.
Then on a new Post or new Pages, look under the text window and settings, and find the ‘Amazon Link’ settings. You can do a Search there for whatever product you want to advertise. Select your product, click ‘Insert’ and the shortcode displays in the text box.
Copy this. You don’t need to save the Post.
Go to Newspaper/Theme Panel/Ads/Custom Ad#, Paste in the product shortcode.
In Pages/Visual Composer add an ‘Ad box’ block. In the General tab select from drop-down menu the Custom_Ad# you setup with the shortcode. Make your customizations of background color and margins,etc., and Save.
You can paste in 2-3 shortcodes in one Custom_Ad. They display side by side.
I haven’t yet run the process of actually buying something to see if the link records the action to one’s Amazon associate account. But displaying the Ads is a start….
Hello blk709,
Please keep in mind that our Mobile Theme do not recognize the Visual Composer and that’s why you cannot make any some pages in mobile theme. This concept has been designed to be very fast and that’s why our developer team has decided to restrict the shortcode provided by Visual Composer. For more information about our mobile theme, please consult our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ As you want, please notice that is not a simple task for implementing and it requires to have a solid knowledge in the code to do that. If you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry! Also, if you are unhappy with our mobile theme, you simply disable the mobile plugin and the theme will be automatically switched to the general responsive mobile mode.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello,
@supersheek if you want to remove breadcrumbs from all pages at once, you can use this css code to do it:
.page .entry-crumbs{
display:none!important;
}
.td-crumb-container{
min-height: 10px;
margin-bottom: 5px;
padding-top: 0px;
}
You can add the code in the theme panel->custom css box
@crazynuts99
The title you mention is not a breadcrumb but the page title itself There is a difference between the page title and the breadcrumb. If this is what you want to remove simply change the page template to one that does not show the page title: http://screencast.com/t/rid0B4L9h98
The default page template – it will show the title if you do not use visual composer on that page
Pagebuilder + latest articles – will not show the page title
Pagebuilder + page title – will show the title.
Thank you!
