Thank you for your understanding!
There is post posted in the forum on Oct 21, 2015, today is September 17, 2016 – 11 MONTHS! I had the same issue last week and WASTED 1 week working on trying to solve the problem. The images DO load SOMETIMES for a short time then disappear again.
Oddly, in the test site (www.testsite.inbishkek.com) using the magazine demo, everything works perfectly, after it was hand-copied to its home (www.inbishkek.com) and switched demos to the default demo (client wanted the text boxed) we’ve had nothing but problems with images being displayed on pages and posts. All settings are the same including plugins. Both the test site and home site work without problems on smartphones; Windows, Android (Google) and iOS (iPhone), as well as Windows 8.1 tablets, iPads and Android tablets. So the problem are not PLUGINS. It’s the code stupid!
Documentation about this problem cannot be found in the KNOWN BUGS or theme issues anywhere, just in a post in your forum – and I found this thread by chance! Instead of the bonehead advice from support to disable all plugins, I instead disabled lazy loading, and now the home page of the site seems to be working again on all PC based browsers, but only the FRONT PAGE has been working for the past hour. The problem is intermittent, it comes and goes randomly, so I’m not sure how long this will remain true.
The POSTS, however, still have issues. Only only some images showing up. So what could be the problem? Both sites are in the same domain, but test site is a subdomain – so that’s not the problem. 2 sites, same configuration except for the test site has lazy loading enabled – everything works perfectly. The home site, which was copied later after verification that it worked, and has had lazy loading from the beginning. We’ve disabled lazy loading on the home site and only the home page has no issues. We’ve created a “special page titled http://www.inbishkek.com/newspaper7-problems, please look at the screenshots, at the very least, visit the links before answering this query.
The screenshots are from identical post pages of the two sites. All images display correctly in the test site – the Huge IT slider and style 8 post, lazy loading was NEVER disabled. In the home site, before lazy loading was disabled, no post images, but sitewide sidebar displayed fine. With lazy loading disabled, images appear in the post but NOT the style 8 top image of your POST TEMPLATE and the Huge IT slider. This is happening in Chrome, Firefox, Opera and Vivaldi browsers. In Safari and IE everything works on both site versions. WTF?
If the shit does not work for ALL browsers, at least get rid of the defective feature! Don’t make us waste our time researching for solutions, writing these stupid posts and waiting a couple of days for replies. We have better things to do!
It is troubling that developers continually tout a feature to speed up site loading, yet fail to FIX the problem after 1 year! NO it’s not a plugin conflict, it’s a issue with your CODE!
I think everyone is getting tired of these bullshit cookie cutter answers by lazy coders & developers; “This problem might be a plugin conflict. Please try to disable all your plugins except visual composer and then activate lazyload and see if the problem is still there.”
This crap advice/response not only pisses your customers off, but it negatively impacts site development deadlines we have committed to our clients! Will I recommend this theme for a client? Definitely not. If they want it, I’ll do my best to dissuade and steer them in another direction.

Dear Team Dagdiv,
My Visual composer said that “There is a new version of WPBakery Visual Composer available. View version 4.12.1 details. Automatic update is unavailable for this plugin. To receive automatic updates license activation is required. Please visit settings to activate your Visual Composer. Got Visual Composer in theme?” how to update it?

I’ve built my site locally and am now ready to upload it to a live server to replace the existing HTML site. When importing the .sql.gz file containing the database, I am repeatedly encountering the following error!…
—-
“Dumping data for table wp_options
#1064 – You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ‘?’ at line 34″
—-
I have tried deactivating all plugins except Visual Composer. Same error. Found a blurb on Hostgator’s site about this particular error. They say that when this error is received, it means…
“The file does not contain backup data for a database, or the file has been changed or corrupted.”
I haven’t changed any of the backend files and am unfamiliar with MySQL in general, so am very confused about what to do to fix this. Please help!!
Hi
Please make sure that you updated the theme according with our documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-the-theme/ also try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches, purge the cdn if you’re using then test the site again.
Let us know ho it goes.
Thanks!
Hello,
The post settings are not found on the blog and post template settings. Those apply to posts that do not have any settings in particular. please edit the post and you will see the settings for it under the tiny mce editor in post edit.
Visual composer in our theme is only recommended on pages, not pots, but if you want to use it, you can activate it for posts from the visual composer settings.
Thank you!
Hello tws,
Please try to update the theme to the latest ver.sion of it (Newspaper 7.4) and the latest version of required plugins (Social Counter 4.1 and Visual Composer 4.12.1), clear all your caches and check again. Also, if your problem is still there, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your login information (wp-admin) so we can further inspect your setup page. Also, please provide the link of this topic so we can easily identify you.
Thanks for your understanding

Hello Sitthinunt.p,
First of all, please ensure that your Revolution Slider is installed. Also, if your Slider is just created by you, please notice that you can use the Revolution Slider element from Visual Composer that offers you a way to change your Slider, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/9tx5ISu4aGH Also, in order to achieve best results using the Rev Slider, please getting familiar with the plugin documentation -> https://www.themepunch.com/revslider-doc/slider-revolution-documentation/
Thanks for the message!
Hi,
I have tested your site on every version of IE from 9 up but could not see the issue. This is truly strange.
DAMN IE: http://paulhastings.me/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/If-Browsers-Were-Guns.jpg
Please try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset dn files. There could be a plugin conflict affecting IE. I can;t say for sure as I cannot even see the error.
You might also try to update your theme and visual composer to the latest version
theme 7.4 and VC 4.12.1
You can use these guides: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
Let us know if you still have trouble afterwards.
Thanks
Hello,
Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. Also please remove any code from your theme panel or child theme to rule out any custom code you added.
If you still have issues with this, please provide a link to your site so we can inspect it.
Thank you!
Hello,
I have tested this on my end but could not recreate the issue. Please try to disable all pl;ugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it.
If you still have this issue, please provide a link to your site so we can inspect it
Thank you!

HI
Please follow this guide in order to properly update the theme: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-the-theme/ and Visual Composer: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
Let us know if you need further assistance on this.

Hello Dustin,
Sorry but apart from the super cache issue, we have no such reports of the mobile theme behaving like that.
We only tested our mobile theme with wp super cache so I cannot say for sure if your caching solution work with our theme or not, We can only recommend what we have tested.
You can also try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files in order to rule out a plugin conflict. We do not know of any other solution as we only identified wp super cache to cause this for the moment. Try your caching solution on another wp install. Create a sub-domain with the same settings as your main site and do not install the theme. Leave just a wp default theme and try the jetpack mobile theme solution. WP super cache also affected the mobile theme from jetpack, not just the one from our theme. This way you can figure out if the problem is caching related or theme related. (our mobile theme only behaved like this with wp super cache so I think it;s safe to assume it’s your caching solution causing it)
Thank you!
Hello,
This is most likely a plugin conflict. You even have an error at the top of your site: http://screencast.com/t/xU1jjRTI2
Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it.
Then only use this caching solution:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
Thank you!
Hello,
Please make sure visual composer is installed and active on your site. What version of the theme do you use? What version of visual composer? Do you use the mobile theme?
The most common case is the mobile theme plugin which provides a second editor in the back-end so you have to scroll down a bit to see the visual composer editor.
if this is not the case, please disable all plugins except visual composer. clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it.
Thank you!
Hi
Please make sure that the parameters from system status have the values indicated here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ also make sure that you’re not using special characters in sidebar’s name. You can use only Latin characters from a-z and 1-9. Id the problem persist try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches then test the site again.
Let me know ho it goes.
Thanks!
I’m having trouble updating add-ons not updated

Hi, I have some post based on text blocks but the real content that I want to insert in the excerpt is in the third text block. These post are created with visual composer. I want to know how can I auto populate the excerpt field with the first X character of the content of the third text block instead of doing it manually?
