I have reinstalled the whole theme to the newest version, and reinstalled visual composer but I can still not make a post OR EDIT OLD POSTS. I can not place the cursor in the field. Nothing happens. I cannot wrote or input photo. As I said I have reinstalled visual composer and put in user name and API Key. The wpbaker license code I dont have.
It is urgent that I can update my site today or my visitors goes to another site 🙁

as far from your above point, i understood these things:
1. go to setting>visual composer> myshort codes ? is it how to generate short codes? but what should i add there to generate code there? i want to add content.ad widget php code.

This theme comes with its own bundled version if visual composer, which does not require a license, as noted in the theme docs.
My Visual Composer License (which worked before) is currently not working for the same website.
I keep getting: “Invalid liense key. Please check information in your envato profile.”
As I said before it worked, and randomly stopped working.
I’m figuring out the visual composer feature. I’m excited about the possibilities. Thanks.
You can try to reinstall visual composer by deleting the old version from wp-content/plugins/ then reinstall visual composer.

You can use the do_shortcode() function and use the shortcodes generated by the Visual Composer plugin to customize the widgets/blocks you want to add into the template and then add it where you want it like this: http://screencast.com/t/Y3TQLaFOx3lP

Unfortunately we haven’t tested this plugin so I can’t give you an accurate answer about this or how you can fix it.
You could check though if the plugin is in conflict with theme files or with other plugins you use and to do so deactivate all your plugins and activate just Visual Composer and the “Letting Little Hippo” plugin, empty cache/purge files if you are using CDN and check again.
If it dose work start by enabling other plugins to see with which one is conflicting.
You could also go through plugin’s settings and check if it has some settings which might cause this, my advice is to search online for a solution and also address this issue to plugins authors on plugin’s support page and if “All in one SEO” or “WordPress SEO by Yoast” dose the job for this I suggest to use one of them.
Please also note that “WordPress SEO by Yoast” was tested and should work fine with the theme.

I think the docs do show how to create a layout with visual composer and there are some preset styles if you start with “blank” page when creating page (choose “blank” page on right side).
Easy to play with without public seeing anything, since you can set up a working home page then create new blank page, test new layouts by using preview until you get what you want, or at least part way.
Of course there are also various tutorials online for using visual composer since it’s used by hundreds of theme developers.
Best bet is to login via FTP, and go to the folder and delete any js_composer folder in plugins.
Then manually install the plugin by uploading the js_composer folder to the /wp-content/plugins folder.
I also do not have it in the plugins to deactivate it. Just weird . I try to install the visual composer and get nothing bit errors . seems like it thinks it is there butvit is not. Please help

First please make sour you have set a featured image for your posts, hen you can add a slide using Visual Composer like this: http://screencast.com/t/mkegkjnVv and customize as the posts you want appear into it.
If this doesn’t help please provide more details about which slider you refer to and also provide your site’s URL.

Please disable all plugins leaving just the Visual Composer active then empty cache and/or purge files if you use any cache plugins or CDN services and check again. If this still isn’t working please check your console for errors and also make sure your theme settings are saved. If not you have to increase the max_input_vars = 1000; value inside the php.ini file to max_input_vars = 5000;.
If you don’t have access to the php.ini file please contact the host administrator and let him know about this issue.
You could also updated the theme if the settings aren’t saved as we have made some changes in the latest versions so this won’t be needed anymore.

You need to edit your homepage and set an sidebar using page builder and the widgetised sidebar element from Visual Composer, like this: http://screencast.com/t/itccvd4YTHk or you can set just the main content then use the page template settings to set an sidebar for the page like this: http://screencast.com/t/k1EWvWocDSB9
Please note that the sidebar set for the latest articles section is independent from the one you set for the page and content above so for the articles section you need to set and sidebar or remove it from here: http://screencast.com/t/FbXKlemE
2. Unfortunately that can’t be achieved as the theme doesn’t have an option like that. You could try to search and use a plugins for that.
3. You can edit the blocks used for each category from your homepage and customize them to use the latest articles from one specific category or more and just 6 posts so those block will always display the most recent 6 posts.

4. I’m afraid the theme doesn’t have an option for that either.

Please make sure that you disable all plugins leaving just Visual Composer active then empty cache/purge files and check again. Also make sure that remove any custom modifications you have made to your theme as all this should not happen and check again.
I also believe that you are using an early version of the theme. We have fixed lots of issues in the latest theme versions so please try to update the theme to version 4.6 and also make sure you make a backup of your current theme installation so that you can revert back to it if something goes wrong.

Hi,
First please make sure that this isn’t happening due to some other plugins you are using so make sure you disable all plugins laving just Visual Composer and Social Counter and also empty cache and/or purge files if you use any cache plugins or CDN host services and try again.
What theme version do you use as we have included the fixed version of the plugin into the latest theme update 4.6 so if you do not using it we suggest that you get the latest theme version from themeforest and you should find the fixed social counter plugin’s version within the theme’s files in the plugins folder.

You can build your own home page using the visual composer … see the docs on how you can create a “page” and then choose the “blocks” you want to use for your home page — such as by rows, and or columns, and you can choose blocks without images.
