how to diabsle or remove wp-includes/css/dashicons.min.css?ver=5.7.2 for website speed optimization on mobile
Looks like that code made some issues, so using this code to hide that section which i showed in the video above.
Here is the cusotom css i tried, in case if anyone else is also getting the same issue.
/* Inner */
.td-main-page-wrap .tdc-zone .tdc_zone .stretch_row_1400 .td-pb-row .tdc-column .wpb_wrapper .vc_inner{
display:none;
}
Hi there, I also am getting the same issue. But i have tried everything mentioned above. Here is the very short video i just created with my audio to show you that all the tips were given above is no longer working in the new updated version of the theme. Here is the video = https://youtu.be/fZ9TpBuTxtw
Note:- For the time, i am going to hide them with custom css
/* Inner */
.td-main-page-wrap .tdc-zone .tdc_zone .stretch_row_1400 .td-pb-row .tdc-column .wpb_wrapper .vc_inner{
display:none;
}
Hello,
In the new update, new implementations have been made for Google page speed and now, the width and height for images must be displayed, and on a standard template if you use SVG it will have width and height 0 (if you want you can use a stronger CSS to set these dimensions manually):
.td-main-logo img { width: 100%; }
our recommendation is to use a cloud header where you can upload SVG and set the dimensions => https://www.screencast.com/t/yVhxp0c6yf
Thank you!
Hello,
The page speed is not related only to the theme that you are using, this is affected by plugins/content/ads/ external resources, etc.
To increase the page speed you can check these similar topics for more solutions:
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/optimize-script-to-improve-site-speed/
– https://www.infophilic.com/get-almost-100-pagespeed-newspaper-theme/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/a-few-tips-for-newspaper-x-speed-high-cpu-usage-issues/
– https://tagdiv.com/how-to-increase-page-loading-speed/
However, page loading speed can depend on many factors, and each website is unique from this point of view.
Let me explain some of these factors and maybe they give you some starting points for optimizing your website.
External factors: server speed, if you are using CDN or not, the external resources loaded by your website like ads, fonts, tracking scripts like Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, Twitter analytics, Hotjar and so on.
Internal factors: the number of elements on the page, image size, image formats, if you are using mobile optimized layouts, console errors, if you are using the Standard Pack plugin on not if you are using PRO demo or a standard one.
Also, in most cases when tagDiv CSS Analyzer has stopped it when is use Cloudflare and the Rocket Loader is active (in our guide it is mentioned the Rocket Loader must be disabled).
The tagDiv CSS Analyzer to be able to do the complete analysis takes longer (8-9 minutes), so I can’t say exactly why it stopped.
Let me know the results!
Thank you!
Hello,
You can change the header background image with tagDiv Composer => https://www.screencast.com/t/9NCnIaZERkh select the row on the header menu and in the tab called “CSS” you can add/remove the Background Image => https://www.screencast.com/t/fwWK3AvGyA
If you don’t mean this, then please provide me with more details and screenshots.
Thank you!

2. how to make the whole theme full width. I don’t use a side bar. Please help me with the css code
Hello !
For more tweaking you will have to use the CSS tab as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/AmQP1El6uplv You can use negative values too, like -20px or whatever works the best to fit it as you want.
Thank you!

I figured out that the problem happens after I use CSS Analyzer. When i remove generated CSS everything becomes ok.
Hello!
Normally it should display correctly, because I tested and it is working well.
Please add once again the video embed in your article and make sure you add this one: https://prnt.sc/10d0w5n

Please make sure to use our newest tool called tagDiv CSS Analyzer which comes in handy to resolve some of your issues. Take a look at the video guide here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tnkVapqhIHc
“This custom tool performs an automatic test to find missing CSS rules applied by user interaction. Moreover, you can manually interact with a chosen section/component from the page while the tool records all the involved CSS. It will generate the final CSS file for this page and also will split the rules in Critical CSS to be loaded in the website’s header.” ( https://tagdiv.com/whats-new-in-the-newspaper-theme-10-4-update/ )
Our tool is running only on normal pages and not for posts or categories for example.
We tested our tool on our demos, and we have such great results!

Hi @dominik-jagiello,
I have this problem too, I reported no result long ago. They bring a css analysis tool that only works on the home page, instead of modifying the entire theme and refining it by fixing bugs. Unfortunately, this is going in the wrong direction!

I want to change font-size from 60 px to 35 px for the covid-19 statistic country block

Hello!
Yes, with cloud templates and mobile pages also you have those element Raw HTML and Raw CSS and you can add them with TagDiv Composer.
No, Standard Pack is used only for default templates and not for a cloud/PRO templates.

Hi,
I’ve been using Newspaper for the past 5 years and want to optimize the site for Page Speed Insight.
I am concerned though about importing new Cloud Templates and now the Mobile Page incase I lose any functionality as I have a lot of custom html/ccs on pages and posts.
With Cloud Templates, can you add custom HTML and CSS code within TagDiv Composer? Does the same apply to Mobile Pages?
I’ve noticed there are 3 plugins: TagDiv Composer, TagDiv Cloud and TagDiv Standard Pack. Is the Standardpack necessary for TagDiv Composer?
If I do not use Cloud Templates, can I just remove the plugin without affecting the site?
How much optimisation improvement (%) would you expect by adding a Mobile Page?
Best Regards,
Dave
Hello!
@pratul11 My colleague just replied to you, please check your topic.
Please edit the homepage with TagDiv Composer and check in Website Manager if you have set up the header globally. If all is alright, then please check if you run our newest tool tagDiv CSS Analyzer and run it again.
If the issue is still there, then please send an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin, so we can investigate this issue. Also paste a link to this topic so we can easily identify you.

Hi,
I’m using mainly Cloud templates on my page. Everything works fine except I can’t change any fonts via Theme Panel. What could be wrong? I guess it could be some sort of css conflict.
Is there any way to fix this with an ease?
I’m just posting this so the users of the fantastic Newspapper theme can try.
I was trying that function from WP Rocket with every update of the theme.
Now it is working a 100% fine and my lab data metrics are always with 95-100.
Thank’s!
Hello,
So, I understand you have the pro prebuilt website “The critic”, right?
To change the background colour on the sticky menu, edit the homepage with tagDiv Composer, scroll a little, until the sticky menu appears, select the row and in the tab called “CSS” is an option called “Background colour” and you can change it. => https://www.screencast.com/t/aTwSrCfrRC9
If you don’t mean this, then please provide me with more details and screenshots.
Thank you!
Hello!
Please uninstall, delete and install again the TagDiv Composer plugin.
Check if the revslider is showing on your mobile version in Composer.
Related to the column issue, please edit the element “text with title” in your mobile version, in CSS tab verify if you have the setting “H. align : Center”.
Hope that helps you!
Thank you!
