Hello technouk,

Try using the font-size CSS property and add it to your custom code if you want to achieve these changes. For more information about this CSS rule, please check here -> https://www.w3schools.com/cssref/pr_font_font-size.asp

Thanks for your understanding!

Hi,

If you mean the avatars here on the forum, that is simply a border radius set on the default avatar image
https://www.screencast.com/t/DiOAju4PicJH
This forum is custom made with bbpress
https://codex.bbpress.org/getting-started/
You could style the forum further with CSS, maybe try codes like this
https://codex.bbpress.org/bbpress-styling-crib/
Or create your own code, using the browser inspector to identify the elements and classes
https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-custom-code-using-the-browsers-inspector/

Thanks

Hello Zoran,

You should use a bit of CSS code in order to have this alignment. Try to place the following code in your Custom CSS box and check the results.

.vc_btn3.vc_btn3-color-green.vc_btn3-style-modern{
display:inline!important;
}
.wp-image-713{
float:left!important;
}

The result is here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/GdLNbrgLns

Thanks for the message!

I have noticed the opacity in “td-business-home-row” css is not working in latest version of the template. Due to this, I am unable to update my theme.

Click on the getmarried menu and login.

The issue is the area under the NEW ENTRANTS, the words cut. I need a css code to increase the width and the height.

Thanks.

I’ve tried the following with no success.

.entry-title, .td-post-title, .td-page-title {
text-align: center;
font-style: italic;
font-weight: bold;
font-size: 16px;
line-height: 20px;
}

Just now tried your live css feature for the first time and some of the above appeared to work when trying to change anything except the size and line height.

Would’ve thought this to be in the font settings within Theme Panel but couldn’t narrow it down.

Hi,

On pages you could set a background color for each of the columns for example
https://www.screencast.com/t/wOiEWv1l
On category pages you can sue some CSS code to customize the category page
https://www.screencast.com/t/PBl8yUaelW
This is a guide about using the browser inspector to identify the elements on the page and their classes, and create custom code
https://forum.tagdiv.com/create-custom-code-using-the-browsers-inspector/
This is the code I used in the example for the category

.category .td-main-content-wrap,
.category .td-category-header,
.category .td-scrumb-holder {
background-color: grey!important;
}

Thanks

Hi,

That would be possible with some custom CSS. Try a code like the one provided below. The grid will look like this in after adding the code
https://www.screencast.com/t/PeP6iI8u
And like this when hovered
https://www.screencast.com/t/1xct16btt
The code must be entered in Theme panel->Custom CSS if you decide to use it

.td-grid-style-7 .td-big-grid-post .td-module-thumb a:last-child:before {
background: none;
}
.td-grid-style-7 .td-big-grid-post .td-module-thumb:hover a:last-child:before {
background: yellow;
}

Thanks

Hey, I’m sorting out my forums and was hoping you could help make all avatars site-wide rounded like on here.
Also, I like how the tagdiv forums look on here, is it just CSS? If so am I able to implement it on my site? I really like it.

Hi,

You could create something like that, with custom CSS code. This demo is also somewhat similar to that design
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_architecture/
Analyzing the demo with the browser inspector you can see how it is made
https://www.screencast.com/t/UPLYieAxhw
Here is a guide that will help you use the browser inspector to identify the elements on the page and their classes, and create custom code

Hi,

@nostalgi
If you want to center the page title, try a code like this for example
https://www.screencast.com/t/VxK6atcIT5yS
Enter the code in Theme panel->Custom CSS

.td-page-title {
text-align:center;
}

If this is not what you meant, please provide more details and a link to your website if possible for a more accurate solution.

Thanks

Hey Chris,

We did exactly as per your suggestions but to no avail.

I’m using WP Supercache and I guess this theme is conflicting with this cache. The moment I switch off I can see the CSS-changes, and when I re-activate Supercache the problems are back again.

Have I overlooked something?

Have tried W3 Total Cache but it’s not working fine with this theme. So I would like to contine with Supercache.
Any idea how to resolve this?

Thx

Hello,

As it is a simple css isn’t it simpler to just copy and paste it instead of looking through the db? It is a simple string of text you can copy from the main domain over to the new one and that’s that. You can even save a copy on your pc in a txt file for safe keeping.

Thank you!

Dear tagDiv Team,
I would know how to update Newspaper 8 theme to 8.1 version without losing all the changes I have made on the themplate.
I didn’t write any code or css changes, but of course I modified the homepage via TagDiv composer and the theme via the Newspaper8 Theme Control Panel.
How can I keep all the changes I have applied on my website? Will I lose them?
Waiting your courteous reply,
Best Regards,
Marco

After updating to the latest version, v8.1 single image style and CSS animation stopped working for me. Can anyone help me. Also added the page URL for better understanding.
