No search results were found in Documentation!
I searched the forums but could not find an answer to something that should be fairly easy.
I installed Retro theme which has primarily black backgrounds. I would like to change these to white or something close to white on posts and pages in particular.
Using Theme Panel > General Theme Colors > Background Colors has no effect.
Even adding something general like
body {
background-color: #ffffff;
}
to custom CSS has no effect.
I guess I am missing something. Any ideas?

I am using 9.2.2 version of Newspaper theme currently. Today while checking some of the tutorials and other demos of Newspaper Theme at tagdiv website, I noticed that I don’t see all the new features at TagDiv composer. For an example, I don’t see a Search Box element in my TagDiv composer. Similarly, I see a few more options missing. Is there anything particular I must know pls?

So you installed a demo and then you tried to activate the theme with the license key. That would have no effect on the state of the website or demo installed.
When a demo is installed this process will import the demo theme panel settings and custom design where needed (with content it will import demo posts, categories, menus etc).
Only if the demo is uninstalled, or a different one is installed will the demo data be lost. The theme panel settings, custom design etc will be removed in this case.
What exactly is the message you are receiving? A screenshot would be helpful. Also what exactly is preventing you from updating the theme, what error message? Let us know.
The theme can be updated in multiple ways, the most recommended is by FTP

I have a few questions, i install the demo on my site first, and set up everything. then I went and got me the license copy, but my demo tells me I have an update will that wipe out my setup I already have on the demo. And also i cant even update because i keep getting an error message.
Help is needed!

News Ticker in my website is stretched with the screen. I can’t remember how I did that. Now I want the alignment of the news ticker as shown in the demo site. But I can’t do it. Please let me know how can I do that.

Is there any way in which I can have a video on desktop, but when viewed on mobile it shows an image?
Ive been having trouble with images in the header being blurry (I’m using the spa heaven demo). Even when I’ve replaced it with the one that came with the them it shows as blurry. Is there anything that could be causing this?
The td_011 does indeed belong to the theme, it is where all the theme panel settings, custom code from theme panel and other theme settings are kept. If these would be removed the mentioned data will be lost.
However having a size like you mention is quite large. In my local install I exported the td_011 table, it is nowhere near such a huge size – http://prntscr.com/m7stcw
The remote cache, log, and demo history could be cleared, make a backup before.
Featured video. How can I get the template for Newspaper video shown in the demos?
I have used TD Composer before on other sites with no problem. I recently installed the Art Creek demo and tried to use TD Composer to edit the home page. After clicking “Edit with TD Composer” it just loads the posts page on the dashboard. I have tried to reinstall the theme several times as well as TD Composer and it continues to happen.

You can try the settings from theme colors, the settings from demo are mostly custom made, but you can obtain that with some work.

What exactly is happening when you try to edit the page? Are you using the latest WordPress and theme, and theme plugins?
Note that the demo homepages and pages are all built with the tagDiv composer, they should only be edited with it. There could be problems if you use WPBakery to edit them, they could be damaged.

That post doesn’t seem to be using post template 8 at the moment, it doesn’t look like the Newspaper theme is used.
From what I know there is no current issues with that post template. I checked a post using this post template on my end, everything seems to be in order.
What is happening in your case when you set post template 8 for a post? it should look like this

I have already checked those tutorials and deleted transient from plugins I don’t use anymore.
As you can see on the photo the biggest rows are the ones related to Newspaper theme. Correct me if I am wrong.

What should I do with them? Can I delete it? If not how to reduce the size of it?
I noticed that the blocks on the default demo are all different colors. I would love to do that on my site, but can’t seem to find the directions. My question is how is it done, and do you have to assign a single color to each individual block? I’m using mainly block 4 from the Voice Report demo, but would gladly change if I can get the colors to work and still keep the rounded corners on the images.
I’m also looking at the colors on the News Magazine demo, and how the links and color match. Love it!

I will make sure upon next update I am not installing a demo.
It still does not utilize the tagdiv slider gallery after going into classic mode and following the instructions. The demo shows a slide…when I do this it posts my photos as a grid regardless of the columns I set.

Unfortunately, our theme does not have such an option to minify the style.css file and we cannot recommend any plugins with this functionality because is not tested with our theme. For minifying this file, we are using CloudFlare for our demo and works fine. Also, check all of your Ad Spots and if you have entered any suspicious code through them, remove all of them and check the results without them.

If you will check our demo preview from here -> you will see that the main menu is omnipresent for all the website pages, sorry! Most likely, this problem comes from your untested plugins. Try to disable all of these, clear all the caches, purge CDN files and check the results. If you need more assistance, please provide your website URL.

The Gossip demo is made with tagDiv Cloud Library, in order to hide the author you’ll need to edit the templates made for Gossip with tagDiv Composer , because those are overriding the settings from theme panel.
In order to edit those templates you need to go in Cloud Templates -> https://www.screencast.com/t/YeAUYOBxmw7g
For example in order to remove the author on posts, you need to edit the Single Cloud Template – Gossip -> https://www.screencast.com/t/KYGhusnpz , now click on author and pres delete after tat click ok, or click right and click delete -> https://www.screencast.com/t/u1VrtDwr26 , build the template how you want, save it and enjoy the results!

Hosting providers can do this for you, most do.
Also, check what PHP version are you using (should be higher than 5.6), check in the theme system status panel for example. There was a similar case before when using an older PHP version caused problems when installing a demo.
The last step if you have made all the above-mentioned changes and the result is the same, is to contact us at the mentioned email address and provide all the necessary information (admin login, FTP access or cPanel if possible). Also, paste a link to this topic so we can identify you.
