Notice that demo is available on our demos list which can be loaded from Theme panel and it’s made with Woocommerce plugin. It’s a custom-made demo and if you want to re-create it you should import it or create it with our page builder. That would be the intended behaviour. The theme has a content container size, the background is set for the this content container. This space to be more exact

It is not a background for the actual content but for the outer space. As the width is reduced the outer wrap space will slowly be reduced, until the content of the page occupies 100% of the available space. That would leave no room to display a background, there is no outer container.

The theme container width is 1068px, 1164px with a background set. A full HD image as you use would be sufficient as a background. Like in this example

A rotating ads option does not exist at this moment. Adrotate should work properly with the theme, many users recommend it. Mayeb double check your settings
