The theme does not have any such an automatic option that allows you to make this but it can be done only via such a custom work. Notice that each demo has an own style which can be replicated for your website. You should check the demo folder like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/pEuYojRhk because there you will find all the CSS files for each of our demos.

I don’t know if it will work or not, maybe they provide a demo version so you can try it out and see if there are problems. That would be the only way of spotting eventual compatibility issues between the theme and that plugin.
The revolution slider is tested and works with our theme, but with the essential grid there were no tests made.
Hello, I’d like your assistance in this issue:
Beforehand gotta say I love your theme and its been awesome to work with, I’m currently only having two issues. The one on the topic title that only happens when loading in firefox browser, I’ll show you with images:
And the other issue I’m having is mixed content on loading two backgrounds from demo theme. (I’v already deleted and changed all background images on theme panel but it keeps trying to load them)
I’ve also tried to change the calling of the images to https but it won’t work. I migrated from http to https but only those 2 images are giving me a hard time.
¿Would you recommend a clean theme install to fix both issues?

The demo I’m using is Local News. When I insert the word Nationals into the search engine, it gives me all the results that are attached to that category. But I do not want the word “Home” to come out as a result, nor do I want the word “international” as shown in the image.

Hi. I’m using Newsmag 4.3. I’m looking for someway to assign a different look to certain parts of my site – preferably by using a different demo look. Is that possible? Also I’ve updated the latest jscomposer plugin and it does not show up on the pages.
I bought Newspaper a month ago, and after feeling overwhelmed with it I just parked the idea and went back to my old theme. I can’t quite work out the order of things… do I need to activate the theme before I can use the ‘Theme Panel’ to customize? I currently get a message saying “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.”
I like the look of the coffee demo, but how do I go about installing it with my existing content? I’ve read through so much of the tutorial info and just can’t work it out. I’m nervous to press the activate button and find my site looks like crap for a week while I work all this stuff out live. Is there no way of previewing before I press the button? In live preview mode I can’t edit anything!!
Anyone’s help would be greatly appreciated. I’m not usually so easily defeated by technology!

Hello, I could already remove the author frome some parts of my website usind that CSS-code:
.td-category-author-name, .td-post-author-box {
display: none;
}
But how can I remove all the other author names? I guess the names are displayed on my start page and on category / tag pages.
Furthermore I changed the sub-footer content, but only on some pages I can see the new content “Coin-Dragon .. Impressum .. Datenschutz”. On many other pages i can still see the sub-footer content of the demo-theme.

At the time the demo was created the them did not have the option to set a header background image. So it was set in the demo stylesheet

In order to set your own, please remove that highlighted code from the demo stylesheet. Then the background you set in the theme panel will apply

@andyfirthuk Seems you do not use a sidebar. If a sidebar is not used, the post content will occupy the whole width of the theme. When you set a sidebar left or right, it will be limited like so

You could also not set a sidebar, and reduce the post content by adding text padding

I really love this theme, but I’m having some trouble with the composer. When I attempt to edit with the Tag Div composer it does not work. Literally. When I click on the button I am directed to a blank page. At first I thought it was because I was using a demo version, but uninstalling the demo didn’t help. Then, I thought that maybe it was because I also have the beaver builder so I deactivated that, and it didn’t help. I would really love to use this composer as I enjoy watching the tutorials for it! — can someone please help? Thanks!

In the Voice Report Demo is the header image able to be changed? We are testing and when we upload a header background image it doesn’t change.
Ive seen its probably something to do with the css thats included with the Art Creek demo?

Removing the option there will not cause the website to be full width. The website will be boxed, because of the background

1. Do you use any caching or CDN? If possible try without any of these as a quick test. How the website loads could be affected by such services. You can check the live theme demo, see how it loads

2. From what I can see you use stretched rows with blocks. The images may look blurry, the same thumbnails will be used, as in a non-stretched row.
You could use the flex block which allow you to choose a thumbnails size, this would be more suited for full width. Or use Full big grids

If you use WPBakery page builder for your website, remember to deactivate the tagDiv composer after you update. When both these page builders are active there could be problems with some elements.

Please try to avoid using blocks in such row layouts, the results may not be the best. Blocks should be used only in these row layouts

That post template featured a parallax effect, it will add some opacity, please check the demo post template 7

I would like to recommend a better way to handle Retina logos in the Newspaper theme. Right now I believe it’s using javascript, but you can use the native ‘srcset’ attribute to let the browser pick the Retina logo on 2x displays. The code below works on my child theme:

Right now with the javascript method, it downloads the non-Retina logo and the Retina logo. With ‘srcset’ the browser will pick the correct version it needs. Srcset is supported on all major browsers too:
