I’m using flex block 3, and in the second module the text is sitting too close to the image. I’ve been through the layout options, but can’t find the one which will create a padding space. Can you tell me where I can adjust this?
Hello I haven’t assigned a category to a page in a while. I have been trying for hours with no lucky. I have no idea how I created all my website when I can’t figure this out. I have made a new page and a new category to go with the page. When I make a new post I assign it to a specific category that’s fine but I want the post to show in the page related to the category. There is nowhere at all that lets me select a category to a page it’s really frustrating. Also when I create a page it’s not letting me add flex blocks etc to the page it’s just refusing to be dragged or selected. I have no idea why it’s become so difficult when I remember it being so easy when I done it all before. I really hope you can help me thanks

To improve your performance, I recommend using Redis Cache and, if possible, upgrading to PHP version 8.0 or 8.1 and then checking again.
Additionally, if there are no improvements, you should disable Live Search, Infinite Scroll, Infinite Load, and Infinite Scroll.

Hello there,
We are experiencing an issue with the “Most Popular” section, specifically the “Popular” sort option in the Flex Block 1 module on our homepage. Initially, only the Popular (all time) option was enabled, while the Popular (last 24 hours), Popular (last 48 hours), and Popular (last 7 days) options were disabled.
To enable these additional time-based filters, we activated the “24/48 hours and 7 days post sorting” option from the Theme Panel > Block Settings. This allowed us to select Popular (last 7 days) through the tagDiv Composer on the homepage.
However, when we select any of the time-based options (last 24 hours, last 48 hours, or last 7 days), the widget displays “No posts found.” We have thoroughly checked all related settings but haven’t been able to identify the cause of the issue. Our goal is to display “Popular (last 7 days)” posts in the “Most Popular” section.
Note: We have many recent posts with views, but they do not appear.

I´m having critical issues with the performance of the site.
APM stack traces show me the issue is with td_flex_block_4.php and td_flex_block_5.php
Also it says within those there are queries under performing.
From what we can see a slow SQL query generated by the Newspaper/TagDiv theme
I´ve some suggestions, whiling to hear from you:
Remove SQL_CALC_FOUND_ROWS from the Query
Avoid NOT IN (…) in the Query

Please note that if your posts have multiple categories assigned, they will display if you choose to filter at least one category from multiple ones.

Hi there,
I have a template setup for a listing – and it has images which are pulled from a custom field which show perfectly fine. But I don’t seem to be able to enable that to be a modal/lightbox. I’ve seen other demos with this but am I right in thinking this is a ACF pro feature to enable this?
Essentially I want images clickable so they popup in a lightbox and get larger if that makes sense.
Also with regards to flex loop filters, I can happily show taxonomies on a search/listing page but don’t seem to be able to show anything from a field group so If I had a custom field for company, I’d like a dropdown so you can filter by company.

Unfortunately, the “Flex Box 1” is not going to be an option for us.

Yes. However, setting up the block to display your listings is incorrect. A workaround there could be to use a flex block 1 there with limit 1 for the big block and use a filter. And in the second part you can add another flex blocks. The offset value can help you with multiple blocks with the same feature. For example, the first block can not have an offset, but the second block can have an offset of 1, or how many posts display the first block, and they are showing the next latest, for example, and not the same post. To increase flexibility and make the Newspaper theme more extendable for all developers, please consider adding a filter in tdb_state_single.php around line 401, where it currently says:

If you replace it with:
$featured_image_array = apply_filters( 'tdb_post_featured_image_data', $featured_image_array, $atts, $shortcode );
return $featured_image_array;developers could programmatically modify $featured_image_array for instance, to append custom fields to the image caption—without editing core theme files. This would greatly enhance the theme’s extensibility and maintain a more future-proof solution for any developer enhancements.
Would you be able to have this incorporated in the next release?
Hi again, I’ve now tried with the Flex Block and the pages do appear again, so I’m going to stick to the Post Loop with “posts” in the Post Type field. That appears to do the trick.
Great! If I add “post” then it seems to work. However, I’m now going to switch to the Flex Block instead, as you suggested, as I can add the Ajax categories dropdown which is useful!

Please edit the page with the tagdiv Composer and add a Flex Block with the filter Search: Current Search and check if it works. I’ve tested the latest update, and it seems to work well, especially the posts loop and flex block shortcodes.
You can also set in the post type: post.

I’m having issues formatting the search results page. https://nordsip.com/?tdb-loop-orderby=alphabetical_order&s=plastics
1) The “Flexloop” sorting option doesn’t work. As you can see with the link above, this should be sorted from A-Z but it isn’t.
2) If I set up the post loop to be sorted as “-latest-” it doesn’t work. I need to select the “latest modified” to work in a somewhat chronological order.
3) How can I make sure that pages don’t get included in the search results? I have set up the search function by clicking on the “exclude pages” options but as you can see if you click on the link above, the home page and some other pages show up at the top.

Flex Block1: In filters, how to select two categories that are not in the same hierarchy?
Example:
Dior Men News is under Dior Men and Dior Women News is under Dior Women.
In the Dior page – https://www.stefanegirard.fr/maison-mode-dior/ – I want to display Dior Men News and Dior Women News in a Flex Block1.
For the moment I only have the news of the men displayed.
