New update.
I pressed f12 -> console to see if there were any errors. There were, 3 related to HTPS.
I went to cloudflare and disabled SSL, and everything is working. But if i put it on “Flexible”, it doesnt work. Neither works the website on full, of course.
I would like having the HTTPS, but i need to desactivate it for having the theme working. any ideas? thanks in advance
Unfortunately it does not work for me 🙁
I added a new row and set it to stretch to full-width with no paddings: https://snag.gy/Ss9L5r.jpg
I added single images to it, but it is still limited to the site width: https://snag.gy/aWeCcL.jpg
Also, the Full height row option does not work either. This is VERY frustrating as we bought your theme to make use of Visual Composer’s flexibility.
Please advice asap.
Hi!
I’m using adinserter plugin for inserting ads into my blog as standart themes ads management is not flexible enough.
But I cant insert ads in positions “After post”, “Before/after comments” and so on cause the theme doesn’t send them via the_content hook.
Can it be fixed?
Hello,
But as you can see from the screenshot i gave to you, its possible to have that kind of layout.
I will recommend you make our layouts flexible for users using your template so use the desired layout of their choice.
Great theme anyway.
When im done designing my webpage, i will display it for you to see.

Kasnet
Hi,
I though the link you provided was your website, which already has icons in the block titles. There is a solution provided in this topic
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/block-icon-awesome/
Or add the class of the Font awesome icons in the block custom class section
– https://www.screencast.com/t/gGt6VXoL
And use this custom CSS code in Theme panel->Custom CSS
– https://www.screencast.com/t/2OScNnhjWT2
.fa:before {
position: absolute;
left: 0;
top: 0;
height: 30px;
display: flex;
align-items: center;
width: 30px;
justify-content: center;
color: #fff;
z-index: 2;
}
.td-block-title-wrap .block-title .td-pulldown-size {
padding-left: 28px;
}
The theme blocks and grids are predefined elements, which will respond in a predefined way concerning responsiveness. The way the grid looks on mobile devices cannot be changed, there is no option to choose how the grid will look on mobile.
Thanks
Hi,
After inspecting your website, it seems there is a code that interferes with the module meta that is displayed
– https://www.screencast.com/t/xRBpHvPYoLj
Without that code the meta would display properly
– https://www.screencast.com/t/1EjQiR0z11
But I believe that code is entered and supposed to affect only the post modified date
– https://www.screencast.com/t/XDusRB8Tqaur
So it could be changed to something like this to not affect anything else on the page
.td-post-title .td-module-meta-info {
display: inline-flex;
}
The modified date will remain as it is supposed to be, and the module will not be affected by the code
– https://www.screencast.com/t/ZcagCdyEoB
Please remove the previous code from the theme panel and enter this one, or modify it as shown.
Thanks
Basically, the answer was that most sites are using Google fonts, and it’s advertised as such to create a custom site with unique design. To *not* use Google fonts at all, unfortunately, at this time, you would need to modify the code yourself (as I did), or hire somebody to do that.
Bogdan is not rude, he is just short and to the point. “we cannot include everything” is the answer — wasn’t rude at all. Not everybody needs the same things — “most” people want the flexibility of custom fonts or system fonts (e.g., using the built in font stacks like Georgia, blah blah….
The system font stack used by WordPress currently is a good option, but even that is getting updated once Safari 11 supports the ‘system ui’ font properly everywhere.
Anyway — I wrote a how-to on moving to a system font stack, as I said — but you would need to do this yourself, or hire somebody to do it. Theme doesn’t support a ‘system ui’ font stack out of the box, at this time.
Not enough people have requested that to put it on the dev map.
( I don’t work here; just using the theme for 3+ years )
Hi More,
If you have two dates, it’s because you have the two code, like you write in your post, you must replace the first code by the new one and add in custom css:
.td-module-meta-info {
display:inline-flex;
}
.the-modified-date {
padding-left:5px;
padding-right:10px;
padding-top:2px;
}
.td-post-comments {
display:none!important;
}
It’s work for me.
Good luck!
Hi,
I installed the Flexible Captcha plugin to try.
I do not want to use it anymore, I deactivated it.
But when I try to delete it I get an “Internal server error”.
What is the solution?
Regards,
Hello to all,
only a report and short considerations.
We are making our new site with your theme and much personalized code for our needs; everything works well and optimization makes great results on speed and usability.
You can see the development at http://deb.radioradio.it (the content is real but test). The layout has yet to be decided, next week will be published at the definitive address radioradio.it.
We loved your work with the latest release (8) to create a native composer; In fact it’s even better than optimization and it seems to work fine.
Despite this, your composer is still missing some features, options, and widgets, very important for a modern and flexible layout.
For example, there are missing boxes, spoilers, accordion, tabs, icons, and other small items that sometimes seem useless, but contribute to the site’s appeal.
Then, very important, it is not possible to make (for example) a two-column (obviously responsive) page layout, or divide the contents of a column or row into n-columns; These are all things that can now be done with Visual Composer.
Still, you can not insert third-party shortcuts that are available in the text editor (probably depends on some incompatibility with the frontend editor).
Sometimes for a more general view, it is better to see the backend scheme (such as VC), which can not be done with td Composer.
We understand that in most cases you do not need to use these options / features, and may be harmful if someone is using them badly, but there are layout circumstances that need them.
For this reason, although we really enjoy your work, we prefer to stay in Visual Composer, hoping that in the forthcoming release, you can implement those features that are missing from your tdComposer today.
Thanks for your great work.

I find this theme not friendly user for what I need to produce. Not just post, but Pages with listing and this site doesn’t offer me the flexibility to create the visual I need. After a week of confronting difficulties, I am facing a wall and will redo it all with another theme.
How can I get a refund?
What is the procedure,
Thank you.

Ok. Thanks. Do you intend to make the rows layout more flexible so that we can use more variations like 3/5-2/5 or others? I feel like I’ve been losing with this migration. Otherwise all very well, but the design of the row is very restricted, in fact very few options. Thanks
H1 is added to Title tags usually. If the audit software are giving warning, i guess you should ignore them. Just try not to use h1 heading in page.
The title tag on the above is purely for users, however, the one set by Yoast is for SEO. Try to use both of them abit different. Title for attracting visitors and Yoast SEO title for search engines.
Apart from that, try to use small H2 headings in page, they will be appearing as sitelinks for the article. I have been practicing the same and have got sitelinks and some super rich snippets for my articles recently. For the check, you can try searching “mbbs books” or “Window reflex”. You will find the sitelinks actually appear below the post in search results.
Hi, Simon.
Thank you for advice. It works, but… partially. 🙂
Hidden category slugs are still present in URL of:
- Mega-menu items
- YOAST SEO Sitemap.xml
- Maybe somewhere esle…
We can fix the sitemap.xml issue with Google Sitemap by BestWebSoft plugin, but how to win Mega-Menu – we can’t figure.
We deside to return the YOAST SEO Sitemap.xml and leave “need-to-be-hidden” slugs in URL, although I fear that this may lead to undesirable consequences (for SEO and navigation/usability).
I think it’s a good idea to give the opportunity to completely hide the selected categories and slugs from site (front and URL).
This will give more flexibility in creating site structure – without creating the custom taxonomies (that does not negate my wish of full CT&CPT support :-))
Hi,
One way would be to use a plugin that has that option. The other would be to make some modifications to the theme. Here is a related topic
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-to-make-this/
You need to edit the corresponding file from the theme, according to the post template style that you are using.
For example if you are using Post template style 2, opening the single_template_2.php file from the main theme folder you will see the line that needs to be replaced
– https://www.screencast.com/t/g53HT0PldRtj
Like this
– https://www.screencast.com/t/4hGRjk2K
Then enter this code in Theme panel->Custom Css
.td-module-meta-info {
display:inline-flex;
}
.the-modified-date {
padding-left:5px;
padding-right:10px;
padding-top:2px;
}
You can use an existing class instead of the one currently in the code
– https://www.screencast.com/t/ROSOqFlXMW
This way there would be no need to enter the Css code in Theme panel.
At the moment there is no setting in the theme that would allow the modified date to be displayed on posts. That is why you could probably search for a plugin that you can use. Or try the method presented above.
Thanks
Hello,
You seem to be using an external plugin that adds a bottom margin.
Please note that untested plugins are not covered by the theme support but we try to help out where we can if the modification is not very time consuming.
Please use this css to remove the extra space:
.flexslider{
margin:0!important;
}
You can add the code in the theme panel-custom css box.
Thanks.
Dear author,
I have been enjoying the theme very much so far. But there’s one problem: guest author.
My blog has many guest authors, and creating username for each is not feasible. I understand that ‘guest author’ feature is not within the theme, but I’d like to know if you could suggest some custom coding. No plugins have worked flawlessly, as many replaced the name of the author in a single post, but also replaced all author names one the sidebar, etc. Ideally, I’d like to keep using the User for some posts, and custom author for other. However, if it be easier to just remove the use of User and author box, for the sake of flexibility of custom authorship, I will be happy to do so.
Thank you!
K
Hello flex202,
Most likely, the Newspaper view count in posts stopped working because you are using some untested plugins which can interact with the theme files and cause a lot of unknown issues. Try to disable all of these (Litespeed with LSCache and CloudFlare Pro) and install only the plugins which are tested with the theme, clear all the caches, purge CDN files if you are using the CDN system and check the results. Notice that the first step in debugging on WordPress is to remove the eventual culprit which cause this problem (untested plugins).
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks for your understanding!
Can you please make popular post more advanced like this plugin: WordPress Popular Posts

i need this kind of header menu for set in newspaper theme
thanks in advance
I have got request from a client to add a fourth column, so I was wondering if there’s a hack I can implement for this. The theme does not support 4 columns currently. Are you going to add this option in the future? It will be nice to have this flexibility.
Hello,
Thanks for the update, but that is not working on my site. I can add background image but can’t link it. It simple not working. I installed theme on my test site here: https://flex202.com/2017/05/04/health-star-ratings-kellogg-reveals-the-cereal/ added background image and linked it in settings, but it’s working. What could be the problem?
Thanks
Kind regards
Hi Catalin,
Thank you for your kind words! Do I have to change from Newspaper to a more flexible and intuitive mag theme that can take in html or javascript code for my manual ads in strategic location since all I got from you are not friendly enough.
Google didn’t accept our adsense for this site claiming that we have duplicate content which we’ve tried to clarify that the journalist now writes on his blog site now and those from other newspaper are his previous but they refused to answer our pleading.
So, the option is to have our own manual ads on your theme but we are hit a brick wall once again.
Regards
