Hi,
When you say “The only solution is to uncheck the option to show exclusive posts when you don’t have them.”
Are you referring to going into Div Composer and editing the Flex Grid manually?
If so this won’t be possible as it will be users with the ‘Editor’ role who won’t have access the front end editors for obvious reasons.
Is there an automated process to make this happen?
Thanks
Curt
Hi,
I am using Flex Block 2 now Big Grid
Thanks
Hi,
So as a online newspaper we want to break ‘Exclusive’ articles, we want these shown first on the home page (top priority)
But let’s say we then removed the exclusivity from Post1, Post2, and we was left with no exclusive articles in wordpress, I want the flex box grids to just revert back to showing most recent posts.
I have
1 row
with 5 flexbox grids
So we could have up to 5 exclusive articles if we wanted too, but I want to figure out how we can display most recent still if we don’t detect any exclusive ones
Also – I’ve used Custom Label ‘EXCLUSIVE’ which shows as extra category block
Is that correct? or should/can we use another field to display the posts as exclusive?
Ok…
I tried Post Loop… but problem is I cannot filter the categories showed…
On my homepage there are a few categories that I hide… and there is no option to hide theme as in the Flex Block 5 I am using…
Also, Post Loop 2 is not allowing to put the date above the image…
Hi,
Yes, in the tab layout. There are many options to set the image size, for example. You can find more here https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/
Thank you!
Hi anamaria
In this case, the background became white.
Is it possible to change the font color?
Also, with Flex Block 1, the articles are arranged side by side.
Can’t line up vertically?
Thank you.
Hello Curt!
There is no option to do this with the big grid 1 element.
A workaround here can be to use multiple flex block elements. Follow the steps:
1. Add a new row where you need to build the block design: https://app.screencast.com/yVjrEEYjri0Rr
2. Add flex blocks like this: https://app.screencast.com/e9993FopPnvCn
3. First module should be like this: https://app.screencast.com/eVYiMkOtTrJ4e and you can style it as you like, adding other paddings and hide the elements you do not like to appear there.
4. This is the distance between the modules in the row’s settings: https://app.screencast.com/OX0NOq0nJZY2w
5. Add an inner row in the second column: https://app.screencast.com/om6T2QtzkS5Sr and add a flex block in every column as here at point 2.
6. Duplicate the inner row: https://app.screencast.com/q12l2CEIgWUaL, so you will have 4 modules as in the big grid 1 layout.
7. You can change the filter of every module or use an offset value. Read more about it here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/offset-feature/
8. We have a feature that will never let a post to be displayed twice on a page. Check it here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/unique-articles/
9. To be “sticky”, you can specify the post ID for every module. Please note that you can use only one filter and not multiple ones.

I hope that helps you!
Thank you!
Hello,
The plugin comes with its own CPT and taxonomies, so yes, I recommend using acf to create your own cpt and taxonomies https://forum.tagdiv.com/introduction-cpt-acf-newspaper-theme/ and use the module builder to create your own design and use the flex block builder to display them -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/modules-builder-newspaper-theme/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-builder-flex-loop-builder/
Thank you!
Hello,
Please use the flex block 1 and set the color from the tab style https://i.imgur.com/fJJWkkF.jpeg
Thank you!
Hello!
I think you can recreate it with the help of this flex block feature: https://app.screencast.com/rJWKGzsNkxXZ9
Read more about it here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/
Thank you!
Hello,
The featured image should have a size of at least 1200 by 675 pixels.
Also, I recommend using Flex Block instead of Block 5.
Thank you!
Hello,
I recommend to use Flex Block and Big Grid Flex, and delete the blocks 1-25 and Big Grid, because the flex blocks have more options for filter and sort https://i.imgur.com/q5fFBj2.png -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/big-grid-flex-settings/
Thank you!
Hello! Kelsey here from BluedotLiving.com. We are hoping to create better filtering options for the recipes on our Food page. I am looking into the Flex Loop and Flex Loop Filters on our staging site, but I can’t seem to get them to display properly.
I would like the block to show only the recipes category, and then be filterable by certain tags (i.e. dinner, breakfast, fish, etc.)
So far, I can only get the full list of categories to display, and rather than filter they link to the category page. How can I make the block filter by tag?
Thanks!
Hi,
Please provide some screenshots of the slider.
Also, I recommend using flex blocks, and flex builder blocks instead of blocks 1-25. You can set the pagination for flex block like this https://cloud.tagdiv.com/#/single/page/Sections/2470 -> https://cloud.tagdiv.com/#/single/page/Sections/2445
Thank you!
Hello,
You can stretch the rows and you can change the width for each column to do as you want or set the inner row https://i.imgur.com/zZnu0nr.png
You can find more details here https://imgur.com/QXIt4Gy -> https://tagdiv.com/flexibility-rows-columns-newspaper-theme/

Hi – for the real estate section of my website, can I have two custom post types, one for rentals and one for properties for sale, that both appear in results from the same flex block builder and flex filters?
Hi,
You can filter the block for a specific category. You can find more details here https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/
Thank you!
Hello,
We have some filters like this. For example, add a flex block in a post template, go to the filter tab of the element’s settings, and from the dropdown category filter, you can choose between Single – More from author, Single – Related by category, Single – Related from tags. Those special filters will work as expected.
Thank you!
Thanks for the quick reply.
To describe it short: I need a tabbed content module, where I can place ACF capable elements/modules on each tab.
I tried to achieve this with your description, but after creating a custom module it’s not possible to use the Flex Builder Block. It simply doesn’t appear on the left menu. The count of elements seems to be very small comparing to the view, when I’m styling custom post types.
Did I do something wrong here?
Hello,
From what I understand, I believe you can achieve what you want by creating a custom module where you can display whatever ACF you desire and use a Flex Builder block. If that’s not what you’re looking for, please provide an example of how you’d like it to be.
Thank you!
Each Flex Block, Block, Big Grid Flex, and Big Grid on the portal’s homepage displays:
– posts
– or post custom types
When the filter is set to “All Categories,” posts are displayed.
If the name of a post custom type is added to the filter, posts of that types posts are displayed.
However, this combination does not result in both categories of posts being displayed in the same block
If I add (Big Grid Flex 10) a custom post type name, Big Grid Flex 10 only shows custom posts types. Not all (post and custom post type name).
Big Grid Flex 10
Filter – Category Filter – All category
– only posts are displayed
When I add (I’m not changing the filters above)
Filter – Post Type – name custom post type
– only custom posts types are displayed
I have only one custom post name, so I don’t use a comma.
How to filter posts by both criteria at the same time?
Unfortunately, the solution you suggested doesn’t seem to work as intended. Big Grid Flex 10 module currently displays either regular posts or custom post types, but not both simultaneously.
