Hi, how are you?
In this image:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Wllkh0DnrDmSIK9zHplTUe_sd8lyQKF6/view?usp=sharing
is possible to see that, after last update, isn’t possible to edit with tagDiv the Footer template in Clouds Templates. Even the button in the editor page (when I click ‘Editar’ link) doesn’t appear.

How I can do?

I tryed to create e new template, but when select a Footer template, it appear the same problem.
I tryed to copy the code (click on Edit, copy the raw code of page) in another page that have the “Edit with TagDiv Composer” link, but, after saving, the page doesn’t load again…

It seems that have a miss understanding between footer code and TagDive composer.

Can you help me please?
Have a great day

Hello,

You can use a header template / footer template from Cloud Library, and you can customize it with tagDiv Composer => https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXQQygkCCJo
Also, if you use the standard header/footer from Theme Panel, so you need to have the tagDiv Standard Pack plugin, from version 10.4, this plugin is no longer required because the new demos are using cloud templates.

Thank you!

Hello,

Yes, you can update the theme to the latest version 11.3.1.
Also, I saw you use WP Bakery. This plugin is a conflict between tagDiv Composer/tagDiv Cloud Template which is why I recommend you to shift from WPBakery to tagDiv Composer because WPBakery is an old builder plugin => https://i.imgur.com/O4CA0y0.png -> https://i.imgur.com/bFnzNtQ.png -> https://i.imgur.com/mv8AhFU.png -> https://i.imgur.com/IMyLYiY.png
Also, if you use standard templates for header and footer from Theme Panel, then please make sure you have tagDiv standard pack updated and activated, please check this topic https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/header-styles-not-showing-on-theme-panel/
Also, please update the theme via FTP/cPanel => https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/

Hi,

What I can suggest is to use Cloud Templates from tagDiv Cloud Library for posts/categories/header/footer,etc and Flex Blocks and Big Grid Flex, instead Block 1-25, Big Grid Full, elements from tagDiv Standard Pack.
Also, on our channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCOT1RiNysIPCTPSnVZskwtQ, you can find more videos that can help you and documentation https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-documentation/ and you can ask us here on the forum if you have any questions.

Hello,

1. If you have the mobile theme and AMP plugins activate, then your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited, this keeps the things simple).
You can disable the mobile theme plugin on the pages => https://i.imgur.com/OTAJQSS.png
Also, please check this topic where I explained each mobile version -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-version-not-working-properly-2/

2. Please try to import the header and footer from here => https://i.imgur.com/jDsslQi.png -> https://i.imgur.com/89ztoQB.png -> https://i.imgur.com/Jtb3hoO.png and make them global => https://i.imgur.com/6qg5arf.png -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-manager/

3. Unfortunately, is not possible to change the Big Grid Flex 5, but you can use it for mobile Flex Block => https://i.imgur.com/hRAQWNc.png

Hi,
I went into cloud templates —> all templates —> single article and also in category but the problem was not solved. I select in “manager” footer and then “footer pro” but the footer does not appear. I believe there is a problem because the footer on the Home is visible instead in the articles and in the categories it is not visible.

Hello,

The header and footer are taken from the standard ones. All you have to do is edit the mobile page, and in Manager (Website Manager) you need to import or the easy way is to convert the existent header/footer like this => https://www.screencast.com/t/HrjOBNayd -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY (03:11 – Mobile Templates & Pages)

Thank you Anamaria,

Unfortuantely, I cannot edit the footer under cloud templates because it does not allow me to do it with Tag-Div anymore. I am not sure why? The header I can edit with tagdiv but not the footer.

Hi there

For some reason the footer within the Newspaper Theme can no longer be edited using the Tag-Div editor.

In addition, the ‘Stay in Touch’ feature has now disappeared with the latest update too. I tried to creating a new Footer using the Cloud templates, the ‘Stay in Touch’ shows during the preview; however, as soon as you import the template the ‘Stay in Touch’ disappears again.

Could you please clarify what is happening? There is no way for me to edit the template anymore.

Hi duck1970, this can be done in 2 ways:
1. Using a cloud header and footer, those can be set using tagDiv Composer as individual (only on that page) or global -> https://i.imgur.com/qQ4SPfG.png -> https://i.imgur.com/1vREczK.png
2. Another alternative will be with a custom css like this one -> https://i.imgur.com/AjzZLUO.png
.page-id-783409 .tdc-header-wrap , .page-id-783409 .tdc-footer-wrap {
display: none;
}

This code need to be set in the theme panel> custom code> custom css.
I hope it will help you!

Hello!

For cloud templates, you should use the element called “Ad box” from TagDiv Composer and there you need to add the ads: https://www.screencast.com/t/DmSFbTW94Sx. Edit the homepage with the TagDiv Composer, and add the “Ad box” element in your header and footer(scroll till footer when you edit the homepage) with drag & drop.

Thank you!

I have added a new cloud template and selected the footer category. From that I pick one that I like, and tweak it to my liking. After saving and using it on a page, it appears like there is some top margin that I need to delete. Returning to the cloud templates page, I notice that the for the footers (all of the footers) there is no option to edit via the Tag Div Composer, unlike all other templates in the same page. Additionally, when I create a new template, in an attempt to make this right the first time round this time – because only the first time you import the footer template is it possible to edit it in the tag div composer (I don’t know why, it doesn’t make any sense…) – sometimes I get an error like the following when I try to rename it to something that will make sense:

Invalid template type! Please make sure your are editing a supported template type title.

The above message is returned after I have attempted to edit a supported template I have imported into tag div composer from its own cloud templates library.

Please assist me with this. Thank you.

Hi,

You can use tagDiv Composer, for layout if you use a Single Post Template from tagDiv Cloud Library, also, with tagDiv composer, you can set an individual header and footer for each Single Post Template if you want https://tagdiv.com/how-to-create-a-footer-with-newspaper-theme/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-manager/ -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rbkYVyj1__Q -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nE51MfLV7hE => https://www.screencast.com/t/Mn1Wq5io16

If you have a Single template from Theme Panel then you can’t use the tagDiv composer.

Hello,

If you create a separate page, please use cloud template to edit them for desktop and mobile. You could also check out some cloud header templates
https://cloud.tagdiv.com/#/load/Headers -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nE51MfLV7hE
These can be edited with the tagDiv composer and customized. You can import each one with the cloud library plugin – https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
Or you can build your own header starting from a blank template
http://prntscr.com/nme4cchttp://prntscr.com/nme4h6

The predefined header/footer styles don’t have any settings, the cloud headers offer more flexibility.

Thank you!

Hello,

1. Seems the auto-loading is disabled now https://www.screencast.com/t/l1KPB2p7haV, also, for login and register I saw you created an individual page, so, you can’t change the name of pages after the user is logged in, only if you use a plugin that is designed for such a thing.
2. You can set the Google Analytics code in Theme Panel -> Analytics/Js Codes => https://prnt.sc/10jk7fq
3. To add the logo in the footer, you need to use the element header logo and set the logo.
4. To have a list of pages in the footer you need to create a menu from Appearance -> Menus with these pages, and after you can set the menu in the element called “List Menu” https://i.imgur.com/EtAXZgB.png
5. You can manage the social icons for the mobile menu from the Theme Panel -> Social Networks => https://prnt.sc/10112uu
For the content of the page, I saw you have the mobile theme plugin activate, so you need to add the content page in the mobile editor https://i.imgur.com/mxqTQgU.png -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY

Hello,
Is there a way to select “TAG DIV COMPOSER” from “POST” and edit it?
For “POST”, is there a way to select the header or footer created in “Cloud Templates”?
