I am experiencing the same issue and have followed the suggestions and the error still displays. One thing that is different from the comments above is that the file wp-content/themes/Newspaper/wp_booster/external is failing in the FTP queue. This has happened three times with same result. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

I am planning to use a backup plugin, which one do you recommend or supported?
and either one of these are supported ?
BackupBuddy
Updraftplus
Having the same problem as well. Updated via FTP and updated all new plugins. Even deleted the Mobile Theme plugin via FTB and still receiving the error “This version of the tagDiv Mobile Theme plugin is not supported by the current activated theme!
Please make sure you’ve updated the theme properly! Follow this guide.”
Hi all,

Hi,
Ensure that you have properly updated the theme via FTP way according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/, check the system status parameters to be increased according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ PHP memory is very important in this case to be increased as properly. It’s possible that the parameter to be exhausted and that’s why this functionality does not work.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thank you!
Hi,
What kind of theme version you are using? In most cases, those errors appear when you are using an old theme version, sorry! Please notice that we recommend updating the theme to the latest version of it via FTP way, clear all the caches, purge CDN files and check the results. Also, if the problem persists after you have updated the theme, please put the wp_debug to true and check what kind of errors and warnings do you receive.
Thank you!
We followed all of the steps from the documentation precisely, and have never experienced this issue before. We will try the FTP method as recommended but are surprised that a complete remove & reinstall is necessary.
Thank you!
