Hi,
In most cases we have investigated the issue was related to one plugin or the other. Deactivating all plugins except theme plugins solved the problem, so it was a question of identifying the one responsible.
You could try the same, see what happens. If you already tried this, we could take a look. Send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login access as well as cPanel or FTP if possible. Include a link to this topic in the email.
Thanks
Hi,
That would mean the theme is already in the WordPress themes folder. Would be best to use FTP to see what exactly is in that folder. Follow the guide provided by Edward.
There are more guides online regarding using FTP, for example
– https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-use-ftp-to-upload-files-to-wordpress-for-beginners/

Hello there,
I want to use Advanced Custom Fields in my custom article template to show more than one source via a text field. The problem is that I can’t find a way to show the content of ACF in my template. I use the following php code for it:
<?php the_field( ‘quellen’ ); ?>
I tried blocks like “Raw HTML”, “inline text” and “column text” but nothing works. Is there a folder for custom templates that I can access via FTP so I can put in the php code directly? Or is there any other way to use php code in custom templates?
I hope anyone can help!
Best,
Sebastian
Install the theme via FTP.
Check this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
I did the updating by ftp exactly as indicated.
I downloaded the new version and installed it without problem.
The thing that I don’t understand is that it is still indicating the version 8.8 instead of 9.0
Hello legalmediacompany,
Check the requirements from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ Also, check the system status parameters to be increased according to our documentation. Ensure that your theme has been installed via FTP way because this is the surest method in this case. If the problem is still there, you should provide some useful screenshots of all of these so I can identify them.
Thanks for your understanding!
Mailed the following.
1: wp-admin login details
2: Item purchase code
3: FTP Details
Note: Please DO NOT activate the theme. I have multiple website, and I haven’t decided yet on which website will I be activating the theme and using it.
Right now, I’m just playing with the theme options to achieve a desired look. Once I am satisfied, I shall activate the theme myself.

Hi,
I don’t know exactly what modifications were made for that, may have been in the theme javascript, not sure. The modified files are listed in the themeforest theme page below each release.
Best you update the whole theme however, not just some files. That could cause problems. Update by WordPress, by FTP or by patch (patch provided in the full theme package).
Thanks

Hello,
Everytime I use the footer page the site crashes. I then have to get into ftp disable the theme, and td visual composer.
I then re enable the theme, remove the footer page and then re enable td visual composer. My site went down four times today trying to do this. THere seems to be a bug somewhere.
Also with the footer page everything gets disabled such as the footer menu etc. Not sure if its suppose to be like that but please take a look at this.
Hello zambrastaff,

If there still a problem lets us know.
Thank you.
Maybe install via ftp?
Hello Keith,
I have inspected your website and it seems that your CSS core files do not load! I would suggest you make a new install to another sub-domain for testing via FTP way because this is the surest method in this case. Check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
The theme can be updated like other themes, nothing special about it. Updating the theme is not difficult to do, certainly it should not cause such major issues with the website.
This would be the update guide in the documentation
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
The most recommended, popular and reliable method in general is by FTP. If you follow the steps as they are mentioned then there would be no problems
Also be sure to check the theme requirements guide
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Insufficient resources can cause problems with the theme or theme plugins. Low WP-memory can cause 500 errors for example.
Thanks
Hello crazydiver,
In both cases, we recommend doing a full backup to your database to avoid losing all of your dates. If you have mad some customizations to your website, you can update your theme using the patch and otherwise, it’s recommended to update the entire theme folders. Check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
Thanks for your understanding!
