Hello MacZil,
Do you have updated your theme to the latest version of it via FTP way? Do you have updated all of the plugins? We recommend using only TD Composer plugin because this is our page builder which will be developed continuously. If the problem is still there, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) so we can further investigate it closer to your setup page. Also, provide there more details about your problem.
Thanks for the message!
Hi,
That would be a common issue with WordPress unfortunately. There are many topics about it online, and many possible solutions as well. The easiest is to simply install the plugin by FTP. Delete the old ones and upload the new plugins
– https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/step-by-step-guide-to-install-a-wordpress-plugin-for-beginners/
– https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-manually-update-wordpress-plugins-via-ftp/
Or try various solutions from online topics and hopefully fix the problem

So I got update. I was able to install theme via wordpress but it didn’t automatically redirect me to theme welcome panel – I got blank white page. The same blank white page as I got when I used FTP. Here is link when I click Live Preview – https://www.dringrid.ca/wp-admin/customize.php?theme=Newspaper&return=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.dringrid.ca%2Fwp-admin%2Fthemes.php.
So I have them installed but I can’t active it.
Please advise.
Ingrid
Hello,
I have similar installation problems:
1. Uploading Newspaper using WordPress – I get this message:
< The link you followed has expired. Please try again. >
2. Uploading via FTP – after activating it, I got a blank screen.
Please advise,
Ingrid
Hello Trey,
We recommend only the FTP for updating your theme and also, most important is to have the system status parameters according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello rsingh,

Hello AlexandreAbrahao,
Notice that we do not have any bad reports regarding on Ads with the new theme version, sorry! Regarding on theme update, we recommend using only the FTP way because this is the surest method in this case. ->> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
Thaks for your understanding!
Hi,
If that worked before, you just have to make the modifications again. Updating the theme by FTP or WordPress will remove the modifications to the theme files.
The files you mention are the same, we made no modifications to them in the last updates.
So the mobile parts/logged.php is still the same as before
– https://www.screencast.com/t/ijqGfOMs7
Make the modification and maybe clear your cache after.
Thanks
Hello libraeditrice,
Please ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme installed via FTP way, increase all the system status parameters to be according to our requirements from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/

Hi Catalin,
Thank you for your response.
So I followed the documentation on how to update via the envato market plugin. That said my theme was the latestest, but was still saying 8.7, when I know there is a version 9. So I tried to upload via ftp, which worked, but then it said my plugins were deactivated, because the were not compatible (all the TD plugins).
So, I re uploaded the plugins. Now, just with TD-composer, when activated i get an http 500 error.
I have checked my system status via the newspaper system status and the only thing is possibly my wp memory limit, which is currently 40mb.
Any advise on what to do? I will contact my host to see if I can bump it to 64mb.

Hello javid,
Please keep in mind that it’s not recommended to be removed because this code is very important for a good theme functionality. Also, not from this code occurs this error. Please check your error log from your dedicated server and try to find which is the culprit, sorry! Notice that td_ajax_URL is used in the whole of our theme and if you will remove this, the theme will be affected, sorry!
Also, if the problem is still there, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin), full FTP and CPanel access so we can take a closer look at it.

Hi desbravandomadrid,
Please notice that 500 errors do not come from our theme. It seems to be a problem with your hosting provider. Hi,
Please check the theme requirements guide as a first step
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Check with your hosting so they can increase the allocated resources if needed. Theme is compatible with PHP versions up to 7.2, also there are some modules that are required (mentioned in the guide).
Then the theme should install just fine
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-wordpress/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
Let us know if there is still a problem, or what you did to fix it.
Thanks
Install via ftp, or make sure you are uploading correct zip file from your hard drive to the wp admin theme installer
Hi all
I cannot edit widgets using the customise tab by appearance as all that appears is a blank page: https://gyazo.com/78e730a9f0e0dd575abe95c518d06b27
I have experience with HTML, and was wondering where I can go to edit the live widgets at the side of my webpage?
I cannot update the theme as I do not want to lose my many custom changes.
Thanks!
Hi,
With lot of excitements, I just bought Newspaper theme from themeforest.net and downloaded theme package. Unzipped the package and tried to upload only the Newspaper.zip (actual theme content) to wordpress by “Upload Theme”. When I click Install theme, it always ends up with “Error 404 Not Found”. To my total disappointment, while every other crap themes in the market gets installed fantastically, what happened to world most popular theme, ending up with issues like this? Super frustrating. Please advice the solution. I don’t want to do that manual FTP upload. I’d like to see this getting installed like every other theme.
