Hello OlioDiPalmas,
Ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme installed via FTP way, remove all of the untested plugins, clear all the caches and check the results. I did not see any problems with your drop-down menu. Check here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/XoQ6KVvNRO because here you will see the default theme behavior.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello StephenLieu,
I suggest you make a new theme install via FTP way according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/ Before installing the theme, you should make a full backup to your database to avoid losing all of your data. Ensure that you have updated all of the tested plugins and remove all of the untested plugins if you are using something like this. Clear all the caches and check the results.
Thanks for your understanding!
If the theme panel or theme system status is displaying a different version than the one you have installed, then the theme did not install/update properly. Best way to install a theme would be by FTP
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
The old theme has to be completely overwritten, or removed and replaced by the new theme. Then this will be visible in the theme panel or system status, the version should be the one you installed.
It is also important to have enough resources allocated
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
This usually fixes hanging issues with the theme panel.
Please try and reinstall the theme by FTP if possible, then check if there are any problems. Let us know.
I am confused, I can not see any option to setup MegaMenu on my site.
Hallo Catalin,
Okay, so I deleted Child Theme, deleted cache, updated theme via FTP and reset the settings. But unfortunately it did not help, so it’s still CSS, I can live with it but it’s not nice, can it be related to PHP 7.2?
I updated to the latest 8.7.3 for two different sites and one of them is giving me an error on the main home page. The other site is working perfectly. The code is below. It is for the site https://epicdigest.com I updated using ftp. You could check out how the page looks visiting the site.
wp_booster error:
Internal error: The system tried to use an att that does not exists! class_name: td_res_context Att name: “f_title_font_size” as “tds_newsletter5-f_title_font_size” The list with available atts is in td-multi-purpose.php register_templates()

So with the CSS code it works, have now updated the theme via FTP, but have the same result without the CSS code
Hello AcarelTV,
If you will check our changelog, there you will find what kind of files were changed in the latest version of the theme. Also, if you will use the patch, all of these files will be overwritten via FTP. Please check here -> https://themeforest.net/item/newspaper/5489609 -> https://www.screencast.com/t/AkePgTwep6
Thanks for the message!
Hello,
Make sure that you are using the latest version of the theme installed via FTP way. I have tested on my side and this seems to work as expected, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/dTBu1Iygc
Thanks for the message!
Maybe a stupid question but patching the theme (with the patch files) means, just overwriting the files on my server via FTP? Rather than going through the uninstall / install theme process?
Thank you
Hello MJ,
I have tested on my side and this option should be there and works as expected, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/5DCKoTCaescA

Hello tovyt,
Please notice that the theme has been changed a lot from 7 to 8 version and probably that’s why you get some changes, sorry! You should make a full backup to your database and then, update the theme to the latest version of it and try to adjust it to look good with the latest version of it. The theme installing should have to be done via FTP way, clear all the caches and check the results. Please notice that our theme is in continuous development and if you want to bring good results you should keep up the steps with the latest version of the theme.

Hi,
If you have a problem with the composer, first please check if it has been updated automatically (it is now version 2.2).
Also check the theme system status section, check if there are enough resources allocated
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
If necessary contact your hosting provider and ask them to increase the parameters as mentioned in the guide.
Additionally try as a quick test to deactivate all other plugins except theme plugins and see if this has any effect on the issue.
If there is still a problem with the composer functionality, send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login, FTP and cPanel if possible as well. We will take a look. Mention what exactly is happening so we can test. Also include a link to this topic in the email.
Thanks
Hello tovyt,
You should install the theme via WordPress and check the results. If it fails to install, you should do it through FTP.
Thanks.

Hello,
Sorry but we cannot provide installation services. You can use this guide to install the theme though: https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-wordpress/ or https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
If you need installation services they can be bought from https://studio.envato.com
Thank you!
You use File Manager located in hosting or FTP client such as FileZilla. Then go to the public_html () => directory and look for the .htaccess file and edit it. You add the following code to the end of the .htaccess file
php_value upload_max_filesize 128M
php_value post_max_size 128M
php_value max_execution_time 300
php_value max_input_time 300
php_value memory_limit 256M
It is all unformatted, wrongly sized etc., when displaying as Newspaper 8, like the theme just isn’t working. I have reverted to the old theme (7) for the time being.
How to update the theme: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Read Update the theme via FTP section.
Thank you responding back Bogdan, I understand that it hasn’t been easy for you guys since the release of 8.7 update, but perhaps better to quadruple check everything before releasing an update would make sense as since the update to 8.7, it has caused more concerns than appease your customers including myself who has recommended your theme to 2 established news publishers and are currently running your theme.
I have emailed my ftp details to Alin who is going to try and fix the fatal error i encountered after i updated the site followed by reinstalling the TD composer plugin.
Also please provide us with the changelog info so we know what has changed in the new update.
Many Thanks.
