Hello thetruongceo,

My advice is to make a new clean install from scratch via FTP way and install the only the plugins that come bundled with the theme core files, clear all the caches and check the results. Please try this way and check the results. If the problem is still there, please let us know.

Hello videomaker,

My advice is to try making a new clean install from scratch to another sub-domain only with the plugins which come bundled with the theme core files via FTP way because this is the surest method in this case.

Thanks for your understanding!

Hello,

Please contact your host and have them unblock admin-ajax.php or any other blocked files that could not get through from the server.
Also try to disable all plugins as plugin conflicts can also affect the theme panel

If the issue is still there afterwards, please create a full back-up of your install and provide wp-admin and ftp access via contact@tagdiv.com so we can login and investigate.

If you do contact us via email, make sure you post a link to this topic so we can identify you.

Thanks.

Hi,

Indeed that is a pretty old version of the theme. Much has changed in the theme since then. Also there might be issues with the latest version of WordPress.
This is an update guide that you can follow
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
The most recommended method would be by FTP, and as always make a backup first. Update the theme plugins as well (deactivate and remove, then reinstall from latest theme package).
Note that in version 8 of the theme, the tagDiv composer was introduced. This composer will be activated by default when the theme is updated or installed. In order to use it all the pages have to be recreated with it. Or you can continue using Visual composer for the moment, and make the transition when you want, if you want. More about it here
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/visual-composer-tagdiv-composer-transition/
Also a multi-purpose plugin was introduced, this adds many more elements and options to the tagDiv composer only
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C0ARTSimnUY&t=287s
Visual composer (now WPBakery Page Builder) is still provided in the theme package and updates are included along with the theme
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
Let us know if you should encounter issues after the update.

Thanks

Hello,

I always update the theme via FTP and always from the update folder, for example: 8.0-8.1 … 8.5-8.6.
The site and server are optimized very well. But, when 1000 visitors are simultaneously on the site, sometimes CPU overloads occur. Maybe this is the reason?

Hello redoankawsar,

Please take the header.php directly to the pack files because there you will find the right code for the entire theme. The best way is to reinstall the whole theme via FTP way because this is the surest method in this case.

Update the theme via FTP: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/

Keep in mind: Please do not use both the tagDiv Composer and Visual Composer simultaneously on the same page.

Hi
I have all the posts settings with style 3 and after update the template the written text is fullwidth running behind widgets and the column. I need the texts to be aligned, I can not use a CSS style because that also touches elements of the homepage. There are something in the update of the style 3, I think. I need your help for to do this well.
I had the template Newspaper 7 and updated by FTP to 8.5. http://chilecientifico.com/las-regiones-se-toman-congreso-futuro/

Hello all,

First of all, you should make a full backup to your database to avoid losing your database. After this, you should make a new clean install from scratch via FTP way according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/

Thanks for your understanding!

I would suggest to deactivate all plugins except theme plugins, deactivate the child theme if used. Check or remove temporarily any custom code you might have added in the theme custom code sections, or directly in the theme files.
Ultimately try to reinstall the theme by FTP if possible
https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
If there is still a problem, send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login information so we can take a look. Also paste a link to this topic in the email.

Hi,

The theme will work properly given these requirements
https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Also these recommended values for the server and WordPress
https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Test with no plugins active except theme plugins, remove theme modifications, deactivate child theme if used. Additionally try a theme reinstall by FTP
https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
Note that the theme is tested with PHP versions up to 7.1 higher versions may cause issues.

Thanks
