Hello, I’m trying to recreate the pop-up model used in the header of the Center Magazine demo, but I can’t find where its template is located. Would it be possible for you to share the code used on that page? I haven’t been able to find the ready-made version anywhere.
Hi,
The fix text should be set on this element – https://i.imgur.com/izwCuur.png and the animate text should be edited in the raw html – https://i.imgur.com/xSBRwft.png
If you want to add code for GA & tagmanager then you can set them in the theme panel > analytics/js code in the header section – https://i.imgur.com/bu6DkmQ.png and you can track it using your GA account.
Thank you!
Hi,
We are using the Newspaper theme on elubaczow.com.
The theme seems to generate different HTML for mobile and desktop.
This causes issues with full-page caching (sometimes the cached mobile HTML is served to desktop users and vice versa).
I think so and I received this information from the hosting provider.
Is there an option in the theme or in the tagDiv Composer / Mobile Theme plugin to disable device-specific HTML output and use a single unified HTML structure (with only CSS-based responsiveness)?
If not, what is the recommended way to configure caching (plugin and server-level) for Newspaper to avoid this issue?
The problem only occurs for users who are not logged in.
I have the “tagDiv Mobile Theme” plugin disabled.
Is the problem something else?
Incorrect loading: https://prnt.sc/Ao3ObgNt1cia
It displays a completely different header – unused, and the rest of the page falls apart.

On my website: https://dedektifdergi.com/ the search button on the home page header does not work and gives this message: Search button does not work: You have not selected a page or another modal in or
I cannot locate enough information in the documentation to fix it. I downloaded a search global template and in the Theme panel I selected the downloaded search template however I cannot fix it. Any help or guidance?
Good day,
Thank you for getting back with me on this issue. I have done what you suggested and came up with the same results. The conclusion that I have come up with is that there is a bug in the theme. I am going to see if I can find where the theme is referencing “td_header_logo” in the database and see if I can change it there. Thank you for your help and time.
Hi,
Most of the time, this issue is caused by a shortcode that isn’t compatible with our theme or by a plugin conflict. As a result, after you configure the page or cloud template with tagDiv Composer and save it, you may encounter this error the next time you try to edit it.
If the problem occurs on only one page or cloud template (including header or footer templates), it’s likely due to specific settings or shortcodes used there. You can test this by temporarily switching the header or footer to see if the issue persists. In many cases, the problem can be resolved by restoring a previous version of the page using the revision feature: https://wordpress.com/support/page-post-revisions/
Thank you!
Hi,
Thank you for providing everything via email. My colleague Simion will do his best to resolve it.
To remove/replace the logo “Gourmet Pro” you can do it by removing the text from header on desktop and mobile – https://i.imgur.com/e9fOfjM.png – https://i.imgur.com/JfiKTZ1.png
Thank you!
hello,

Good day,
Thank you for getting back with me on this issue. It is appreciated. I did go through the tutorials that you suggested (thank you). I also made sure that the SVG was removed from all the header information…to be honest, that was my first thought, that I missed something.
However, my apology for not mentioning this, but as for the header itself, I am not using the header Chained News. I downloaded another header from the sample prebuilt. I am using the “Pulse Pro” header instead. (I wish there was a way to show you exactly what i am seeing in a screenshot.)
Any other suggestions?
Thank you for your time and help.
Hi,
The Chained News PRO is made using tagDiv Composer and cloud templates and it can be edited using the theme builder.
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-manager/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
-> https://i.imgur.com/9ioGHfF.png – https://i.imgur.com/4ZZ7tTo.png also the logo from that demo is an SVG, so you need to remove the SVG from the logo tab.
Thank you!
Hi,
The header files for the header styles are on the path wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newsmag/parts/header.
When tagDiv COmposer is not enabled the one in used will be – wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newsmag/header.php
I hope this will help you!
Hi Calin,
I’m doing it in a staging site. Don’t worry. I’ll take responsibility for protecting my site. But I’d appreciate knowing where to find the file that the header loads from.
Thanks

Hey, I hope all is well. I am in the process of building a website using one of the pre-built templates. What I am doing is modifying what is there to fit my style. I am currently using the “Chained News” theme for the site. The issue is when I shrink down the window to activate the mobile view of the template. When I shrink down the window to, say, 767 px wide, the name of the template will be displayed and not the name of the site. I have looked in the theme panel under “Mobile Header” and typed in the name of the site. I have also added an image that has the name of the site to it.
Also, under the mobile theme, in the “Newspaper – Theme panel,” i have done the same thing there. Adding images/name of the site but it still comes out the same…meaning the site goes from name of the site to “Chained News”.
The question I have is where in the wide, wide world of sports is this located? I have even looked, when I edited the header, to see if there is any reference to “chained news” and could not find anything.
Any suggestions/help would be great. Thank you.
Hello guys,
i removed the background and layout breaks…
as you can see: https://wordpress-919309-5834713.cloudwaysapps.com/ now content section have some padding on both side, i need that of same width of header and footer.
And at least i need help to remove the shadow on bottom content section.
It’s little urgent, pls help.
Hi,
Before trying to edit any files that will later be lost when you’ll update the theme., I will recommend to use the theme options from the theme panel and choosing a different header template – https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-header-styles/ try header style 7, 8 and 10.
If you want to edit the theme files, use a child theme – https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-child-theme-support/
Thank you!
Hi guys, I really want to customize the header in Newsmag so that I can keep the ad bar but ALSO have a full-size logo (ie: I want them one on top of the other instead of side by side). I don’t really code. I use ChatGPT to help me navigate the files. But I can’t figure out what I need to edit. I tried to edit the header.php file, but it didn’t display the image. I commented out the do action php at the top and it displayed the logo but obviously changed everything else for the worse. So is there another file that the theme is actually loading the header from? And if so, how do I edit it to achieve what I’m trying to achieve?
Hi,
Please run a quick debugging snippet (in a temporary plugin or in functions.php), you can check if the theme defines that constant:
add_action( 'init', function() {;
if ( defined( 'DONOTCACHEPAGE' ) && DONOTCACHEPAGE ) {
error_log( 'DONOTCACHEPAGE is defined by theme at init' );
}
})
Check your PHP error log. If you see that message, it confirms the culprit.
Constants cannot be undefined once set, the only safe way to override this is to prevent it before the theme sets it.
add_action( 'plugins_loaded', function() {
// Prevent the theme from defining DONOTCACHEPAGE later
if ( ! defined( 'DONOTCACHEPAGE' ) ) {
define( 'DONOTCACHEPAGE', false );
}
// Intercept no-cache headers
add_filter( 'nocache_headers', '__return_empty_array' );
});
How to test this safely
– Go to /wp-content/mu-plugins/ (create the folder if it doesn’t exist).
– Create a file called allow-litespeed-cache.php.
– Paste the code above.
– Clear all caches (LiteSpeed → Purge All).
– Open your site in a private/incognito window.
– Check response headers again.
If it now shows: x-litespeed-cache: hit, then the problem is confirmed and fixed.
I hope this will help you!
Thank you!
Hi,
Yes, this is possible, using a cloud header you can assign it globally (for the entire website) and you can also use it as an individual, only for a page or cloud template (the individual option will apply over the global one). This can be done using tagDiv Composer – https://i.imgur.com/5AtRPwa.png select the manager and in the header click on the header name – https://i.imgur.com/4D0lqVN.png (not on global, only on name to make it green, this means it is assigned as an individual on that page/template).
Thank you!
Hi,
Our theme do not use no-cache or DONOTCACHEPAGE.
Also, testing with a theme like “Twenty Twenty-Four” that does not have any features and comparing it with the Newspaper theme that you can build almost anything, I think, is not a good comparison, but if this is indeed something related to our theme make some tests like this. Use only the Newspaper theme without any extra plugins except the cache plugin. If it’s ok, go on with tagDiv Composer, this is the hard part of the theme. Then, with tagDiv Cloud Library and so on, until you test it with all the theme plugins you are using.
The text step after you identify the plugin that is interfering with the cache is to check the cache settings. From my experience, setting ‘/’ in cache fields will be interpreted to not cache the homepage, but this is maybe only my interpretation.
As a suggestion you can try a code like this one in the child theme (the code needs to be adjusted):
add_action( 'template_redirect', function() {
if ( class_exists( 'LSCache\\LSCWP' ) ) {
// Remove any DONOTCACHEPAGE flag that may have been set earlier
if ( defined( 'DONOTCACHEPAGE' ) && DONOTCACHEPAGE ) {
// Un-define the constant (only works if not locked), or override via filter
// Note: PHP doesn't allow undefining a constant, so we use filter below
}
// Use our filter to override caching logic
add_filter( 'litespeed_cache_allow_cache', function( $allow ) {
return true;
}, 99 );
// Clear any HTTP headers forcing no-cache
header_remove( 'Cache-Control' );
header_remove( 'Pragma' );
}
}, 0 );
Thank you!
Hi,
Why are the menus in the header menu displayed in two parts when I resize the screen to a smaller size?
Thank You!
Hello tagDiv Team,
I am using your Newspaper theme on a **LiteSpeed Server** (Hostinger) with the official **LiteSpeed Cache** (LSC) plugin.
The problem is that my site (laikmetis.lt) is not being cached. The response header always shows x-litespeed-cache: miss, and the HTML comment at the bottom of the page says “Page generated”, not “Page cached”.
I have run tests and **100% confirmed this conflict is caused only by the Newspaper theme**:
* **Test 1 (Newspaper theme active):** The result is x-litespeed-cache: miss.
* **Test 2 (Default Twenty Twenty-Four theme active):** The result is x-litespeed-cache: hit. (The page caches perfectly).
I have already tried every possible solution from the LSC plugin side, but your theme overrides all settings. I have already:
1. Confirmed that LiteSpeed Cache -> [4] Excludes settings are all empty.
2. Confirmed that LiteSpeed Cache -> [4] Do Not Cache Cookies is empty.
3. **Most importantly:** Added / (the front page) to LiteSpeed Cache -> [1] Force Cache URIs. Even with this “force” setting, your theme **still blocks** the page from being cached.
**Important Clarification:**
Please **do not** suggest that I use WP Super Cache or WP Rocket. This is **not a solution**, as I am on a **LiteSpeed Server**. Using any plugin other than LiteSpeed Cache means a massive performance loss. The goal is to make your theme compatible with my server, not to abandon my server’s advantages.
**My Request:**
These tests prove that the Newspaper theme (or TagDiv Composer) is actively sending a no-cache header or using a PHP constant (like DONOTCACHEPAGE).
Please provide a specific solution (a code snippet for functions.php or a hidden setting) so I can **disable** your theme’s no-cache signal. This is necessary to allow the LiteSpeed Cache plugin to finally function correctly.
Hi,
The Doctors Pro needs to be edited using tagDiv Composer https://i.imgur.com/zmyC5nI.png select the logo and select the svg tag, remove the code from there – https://i.imgur.com/vXXlfiI.png then the settings from the general tab will apply if are not set on hide – https://i.imgur.com/jAw8YFf.png (the logo is teh same on header, footer and sticky.
To change the homepage image, select it and click onthe image to replace the current one – https://i.imgur.com/AgRX2jM.png

Hi,
Most of the time, the problem is from a shortcode that is not compatible with our theme or a plugin conflict; therefore, after you set it with tagDiv Composer and save the page/cloud template, the next time you try to edit it, you’ll get that error.
If is only for one page or a cloud template (it can be on the header or footer, you can change them for tests and see if the problem persists), this is from some settings/shortcodes set on it and it can be fixed using the page revision https://wordpress.com/support/page-post-revisions/
Thank you!
hello, @Calin So about the previous issues, I can’t get shortcodes to work at all, because in TagDiv Composer! It doesn’t show up on the page, it only appears in posts. I spoke with the owner of the search plugin, and he said he tried to contact you guys from the theme to get support for his plugin and didn’t get a response. The guy from the search theme said this about your theme, https://imgur.com/a/HcEGq1O
I had to create a search field, I couldn’t add it to the header, but I managed to add it to the home page. I’m having some problems.
The block images, I can’t reduce the image size no matter what I do, I have to set up CSS for all of them, it’s a lot of work, and when I delete some tdi_ element it changes the number and messes everything up. Well, tdi_98, I can’t get the image to be 90px by 90px. I used this CSS when it was tdi_97 and it was working perfectly. Then I had to delete some elements, it changed to tdi_98 and it stopped working. I adapted everything correctly, only the images aren’t staying 90px by 90px, they’re huge. Look there, the CSS is correct. https://ibb.co/TMNTDZvB desktop mode only, because for mobile I had created a separate page. https://glostv.com/tv-ufg
Could you provide CSS to fix the large image issue? To make it 90px by 90px.
About this related thing, https://ibb.co/qLBYQZPX, I can’t set it to a primary category, like there’s this option, https://ibb.co/1GJkWGGs, to make it primary up there, https://ibb.co/VpJb4rCj. Is this possible via CSS?
About this, is there also a way to hide the title without needing CSS?
Is there somewhere in the theme that disables the date that keeps showing up?
Google searches, https://ibb.co/hFZNCXJf I already deleted everything in WordPress, did everything, hid it in WordPress, https://ibb.co/wFRmCNrh
Is there any way to make the site faster with this theme? You guys in the theme recommended Super Cache, which is horrible depending on the configuration, it modifies the CSS and everything. I measured my site on https://pagespeed.web.dev/ and it’s terrible, seems like the theme is too heavy. Is there a way to improve this? Because when I update something it takes too long to update the page; I’m not logged in.
Lastly, how do you translate https://ibb.co/LXG4WdqF I tried to find it and couldn’t. If you can help me with these problems.
Ask the theme owner to add in the next update the ability to reduce the image size of the tdi_ modules so we don’t need to keep using CSS code. Ask them to add shortcode support in TagDiv Composer! on pages, because it only appears in posts.
