Header – Remove 'Pulse Pro' & alternative logo when the browser is made smaller - topic

Hello,

In the header, I have been looking to find where I can delete the words (or image?) ‘Pulse Pro’ when I make the browser smaller on my laptop. I presume it has something to do with the mobile layout, but I don’t want to start creating a mobile layout until I am happy with the main website in a browser.

I also noticed that the main logo disappears and another smaller (and different) logo appears in its place, next to Pulse Pro when I resize the browser, so yes, am I correct in assuming this is mobile related?

I looked at the header template that I am using, but I was unable to find anything related to Pulse Pro and different logos.

Please can you guide me to where I can change this so that it’s desktop browser related only? Once I am happy, I will start on the mobile layout.

Finally, what do you recommend I use to create the mobile version?

Hi,

So it doesn’t work if I put it in the child theme under parts/header
I have to overwrite in the actual plugin folder. Is this a known issue with the child theme?

Please select the header logo => https://prnt.sc/10cpvhl and check the option called “Show Image” is set on “Show”, also, you can delete the logo text and add the logo image => https://prnt.sc/10cpx7e ->https://forum.tagdiv.com/add-logo-newspaper/

I’ve just purchased the Newspaper theme and when I go to the “Theme Panel” to edit my header/footer I get zero options to edit my header style for example… Tons of options are missing…

Hi there,

You can see the logo is in Abril Fatface font on the desktop version but when I view the website on my mobile it’s just a normal font. How can I make it that it displays Abril Fatface font on the mobile too?

I just added the Woo Cart icon to the mobile header in the TagDiv Composer.

The 3 remaining things that I wanted to point out are:

1. The Apple Pay button does not show up on the product or checkout page in Safari’s desktop browser, but it does show up in the Safari mobile browser.

2. Also on the checkout page, there should be a checkbox to choose to subscribe or unsubscribe to our mailing list; but the checkbox is missing, therefore eliminating the chance for customers to opt out of subscribing.

I would like to ask that the dev team please look into the above two items, as I think it may be theme related. They were working before using the Newspaper (Gadget Blogs) templates (that also came with a Woocommerce / Shop extension for Newsletter theme).

3. My iPhone & iPad repeatedly prompts me to login with saved password (as mentioned above), and it does not do this on any desktop browsers.

Would someone please let me know where I could find the code for the login form in the theme or plugin editor, so I can take a look? Any help or pointing in a general direction for answers would be much appreciated.

So, I have just installed a cache plugin and set that up. I have minified CSS and Javascript. But after that my header menu active/hover style broke. As you can see in the screenshot the green dot for the active menu item supposed to stay before the menu item. but It is showing on top of the text. How to fix this without deactivating my cache plugin?

You can also do it without using any 3rd party plugin. Go to the Newspaper theme panel and paste the Pintrest tag in the HEADER SCRIPT CODE box. Clear the cache if you’re using any caching plugin. That’s it.

I did it myself. I have installed the plugin Insert Headers and footers by WPbegginer and inserted the code into the plugin. If that was not the correct way, can someone please instruct me how to do it in a different way? If this way was ok, then hope it will help someone.

I’ve already pressed save about 50 times. Cache deleted, the header reloaded several times from the cloud and changed for the new layout. Always the same problem.

Is it possible to sort the post loop according to categories? Thank you for help.

High res photos appear grainy and low res on site - topic

I have a series of images that should appear sharp on the website, but they are being auto-compressed. The result is that they look very grainy and low res. I have looked for a setting control, but unlike when inserting images into the body of the post, when inserting images into the header, there is no compression setting control.

Same issue here, the update 11.3.1 breaks my site, no more background image on home page, the footer is brocken too, no more colors on my header etc. I am forced to go back to 11.3.
