I don’t see how how that’s done. I feel like there should be an option when creating a post to assign it to one of the headers (ie Latest or Reviews or Make it modern) but I can’t figure that out. Please help

Please copy this code code in your public_html “.htaccess” file

FilesMatch "\.(ttf|otf|eot|woff|woff2)$">
<IfModule mod_headers.c>
Header set Access-Control-Allow-Origin "http://skin.cdn.com"
</IfModule>
</FilesMatch>

After you add the code in “.htaccess”, please clear all cache and force to refresh your web.
Also you can try to log out and log in again.
Thanks.

Hello imbob,

If you want to use another brand of Ads other than AdSense, notice that you need to access the header section of AMP and add the code of your Ad provider.

The amp header is found here: https://www.screencast.com/t/eSsRZ3cItk7u

Thanks.

i did all the steps ( changing the htaccess file and clearing cache )
but i still have the same problem :

Header set Access-Control-Allow-Origin “*”
# BEGIN WordPress
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteRule ^index\.php$ – [L]
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule . /index.php [L]
</IfModule>
# END WordPress

Hi,

The top menu is not supposed to display on mobile, it will be hidden. However it could be made to appear if necessary, try this code
https://www.screencast.com/t/Z93oGw3pqs0
Enter it in Theme panel->Custom code->CSS section if you decide to use it

@media (max-width: 767px){
.td-header-top-menu-full,
.td-header-sp-top-menu {
display: block!important;
text-align:center ;
}
.menu-top-container {
margin-right: 0;
}}

Let me know if you have more questions, I will try to help you.
Thanks

Hi,

Your logo look just fine, but if I understand correctly you’ll like to be bigger,
first of all when you set the logo from Newspaper>Theme panel>Header > Logo&Favicon make shore you set the size to full size ( https://www.screencast.com/t/sz6hKP7HVhi ).
If you like bigger you can add this custom css in Newspaper>Theme panel>Custom cede> Custom css :
.td-header-sp-logo img{
width: 350px;
}

you can set any size for width, but keep in mind if the logo is smaller than you set there, the logo will be enlarged and will show pixelated .

Hope this will help you.
Thanks.

I know of this, and I set this up. But I want to set up AMP AUTO ADS which require 1 code to be set in the header and 1 in the body of the amp posts. How do I do this?

Hi,

.td-post-template-13 .td-post-header .td-post-title .td-post-views {
display: none;
}

.single .td-post-views {
display: none!important;
}

Both of these work (I’m using layout 13) although I don’t like that you can literally see the view count disappear when the post is loading, is there any way to load it faster so it can’t be seen? I would imagine by adding either of these codes to the theme code, if so, how?

Thanks.

Hi,

From what I can see AMP is not activated for your posts. You simply have to install the plugin and activate it, to test add /amp at the end of the URL of a post page. The posts should look like this
https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_crypto/td-post-ripple-ceo-and-ethereum-co-founder-bash-ico-industry/amp/

There is no menu currently for the AMP version, this and the design is inspired by the Yoast SEO website
https://yoast.com/social-media-optimization-with-yoast-seo/amp/
The header logo will be the one you set for mobile in the theme panel
https://www.screencast.com/t/sk3sDiyVW
If the logo is blurry test with a different image format and sizes, until a good result is found.

Ad codes for AMP will have to be entered in the dedicated AMP section, be sure to use the proper codes, for example for Adsense
https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/7183212?hl=en
https://www.screencast.com/t/vc3VzKSIEHTi

AMP will work properly for pages created with the default WordPress editor if you want to use it for pages, not with page builder content. The main purpose of AMP is speed, not loading heavy pages with blocks and grids.

Of course our plugin is optional, you can use other AMP plugins if needed. We will try however to improve it and add more options for it in future updates. Let me know if you have more questions.

Thanks

Yes, I actually have the theme installed on 2 different websites (I own 2 licenses). Both of them were added with FTP, and yesterday I also copied the theme over again via FTP to make sure.

Site is loading fine, but the errors are appearing in my log file. That Line 6 is related to the header(), so any idea what it could relate to?

Note: Another issue. Today morning I discovered that frontpage loads only header (Jetpack is currently deleted). Now I turned off “Contact form 7” and frontpage is fully loaded again. But turning Contact form 7 on again, it doesnt cause any problems … Mystical things. Caching is off all the time.

Hi dexign,

thanks for your reply. I dont have the pro version but dont mind paying if it will do what i need it to do.

Can you clarify something for me. Reading your reply it would appear that i wouldnt need to use the ads section of the newspaper theme at all (you mention advert pages) have i understood you correctly.

if i dont need to use the ads section of the newspaper theme at all to serve the ads setup in adrotate i am assuming that i can place them in the following positions easily using adrotate only?

header
inside post
footer area
sidebar

sorry if i sound like a bit of a newbie with all this, i am 🙂

hi guys,
My client needs an anchor link in the header (weather section).
I tried this in td_weather.php (line 148):

<div class="td-weather-top-widget" id="<?php echo $weather_data['block_uid'] ?>">
<i class="td-icons <?php echo $weather_data['today_icon'] ?>"></i>
<div class="td-weather-now" data-block-uid="<?php echo $weather_data['block_uid'] ?>">

<span class="td-big-degrees"><?php echo $weather_data['today_temp'][$current_unit] ?></span>

<span class="td-weather-unit"><?php echo $current_temp_label ?></span>
</div>
<div class="td-weather-header">
<div class="td-weather-city">
<?php echo $atts['w_location'] ?>
<?php echo "/ Clima Extendido"; ?>
</div>

</div>

</div>

Link works but I have a problem when the user click in the numbers (the link disappear)
any idea is welcome!
regards

link weather

Hi,

Please check if you don’t have set stretch for header menu in Newspaper>Theme panel >Template settings> Force full width

Hi,

Our theme don’t use the_archive_title(), and we recommend you to use a SEO, but if you still want to make changes in theme file, then you can check the archive.php and header.php ( https://www.screencast.com/t/LVWCM5jAbx ).

Thank you for your understanding.

when i try to update it i get this.

Updating Plugin: tagDiv Composer
The plugin does not have a valid header.

The plugin is at the latest version.

Can i update it manually, and if so is it ok to delete the existing version without screwing anything up?

yeah, the theme status all reports good

Hi,

You could design category templates with the tagDiv composer and cloud library plugin, place different ads in each of them (page content)
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/

If you want to display different ads in the header itself, it will require some modifications
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/custom-ads-to-header-ads-section/

Or you could use a plugin such as Adrotate, I believe this has settings for something like that. More about it here
– http://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-manage-ads-in-wordpress-with-adrotate-plugin/
– https://ajdg.solutions/manuals/adrotate-manuals/

Hi, we noticed that we are having a problem in our front page header, after the logo we see

[vc_row el_class=”td-slider-row” full_width=””][vc_column tdc_css=”eyJhbGwiOnsibWFyZ2luLWJvdHRvbSI6IjIwIn19″]

Obviously the problem is that shortcode is not interpreted, the version of your Newspaper theme that we are using is 9.0.1, this problem happens just in the front page of the site, Any idea bout why is this happening? We haven’t install anything new lately.

I wait for your reply.
Best regards.

Try it like this, seems the code needs more strength to apply

.td-post-template-default .td-post-header .entry-title {
font-size: 24px!important;
font-weight: 600;
}

Should work then – https://www.screencast.com/t/0AFmGuhPrI79
