Please note that we don’t recommend you use WP Bakery anymore since there can be conflicts between TagDiv Composer and WP Bakery; also WP Bakery can’t edit the tagDiv Composer templates. If you created the mobile pages with tagDiv Composer, then when you install the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).

So, the mobile responsive is what you see then that you select the viewport on phone => https://www.screencast.com/t/matV17hH, so some settings may apply for each viewport(where is the border blue), and others are not(where the border is black).

Mobile responsive version of the theme and the mobile page editor can be edit with tagDiv Composer, the mobile theme plugin not.
For example, you can have the mobile theme plugin activate and use the mobile page/mobile responsive version for the homepage/pages, but for the categories pages/404 page you can’t use the mobile page/mobile responsive version if you have the mobile theme plugin activate.
So, if you want to design the pages with tagDiv Composer, you can use the mobile page or mobile responsive version.

You can’t filter the block Posts Loop, you can only sort it => https://www.screencast.com/t/geckLSYd5sa, so if you have set the Posts Loop on the homepage, then will display all posts of all categories, if you have set the Posts Loop set on the category template, then will display the posts only from that category.

I had done this in php before cloud templates, but now i cannot.
I want to set the background image of post from either featured image or ACF field.
This is for a CPT listings, some featured listings will have full wallpaper image. Similar to HomePage Post Element.

I followed your recommendation and crop my contribution images in full HD (1920 x 1080) before uploading. However, these are displayed in such a way that the left and right areas are cut off.
How can I set the full image to display as cropped. Especially with photos of bands it is annoying when 3 people cannot be seen on stage.

Please check on every category individually if you selected Module 2 and the theme panel has saved your changes.
For the homepage, you can also modify it with the TagDiv Composer and choose a flex block instead. If you want to modify the style of the latest articles on the homepage, then you need to choose the module while you edit the page.

I’ve not touched the site in about 2-3 weeks as I want it to be stable – before I do anything. BUT if I simply go to the homepage (www.doogle.com) it looks a mess (again). Why does this keep happening? This is now the third time (see previous posts). I don’t want to keep reinstalling Newspaper but if it’s not stable then I’d need a refund.

I changed the template setting in theme pannel from module 1 to module 2 for categories and home page but it is not working, but when I change block settings for search page it shows of instantly. i also disabled cache plugin.

Set the homepage as a default page in the Gutenberg editor. Also, make sure you add the elements in the content zone on the sale page and not in the footer zone.

A few weeks ago, my website (www.thecolonymagazine.com), suddenly lost all of the thumbnail images from it. My host is GoDaddy. They’ve hosted my site for 5 yrs and never a problem until now. I’m running PHP version 7.4.30 and Newsmag version 5.2.
This is the text that appears as a place-holder for the images on my homepage: “Enable thumb from theme panel-Block settings”. I tried enabling them but it didn’t work. I had also tried using a Thumbnail Regenerator plug-in (like you suggested to other users with this problem, and it didn’t work.)
With my research on this, I ran across a similar problem that people with the NEWSPAPER theme were having, and I found this solution that was posted by tagDiv:
VERY IMPORTANT! The regeneration process requires the installation of GD library for .php on the server for image processing. Please make sure that you have it installed and enabled on your server before regenerating thumbnails.
Would this also apply to the NEWSMAG theme as well? If so, please tell me where I can find instructions on how to install the GD library, and perhaps a different thumbnail regenerator plug-in, other than the one created by Alex Mills. ( he has died, and there hasn’t been support for 2 years for the plug-in).
Also, can you instruct me how to increase the PHP memory limit.
When you sign up for membership, if you use your name in English, you will receive an email to the email address of the person who wants to sign up normally, and the name and email address of the person who requested to sign up by the homepage manager’s email.
However, if you enter your name in Korean when you sign up, you will not receive an email from the person who tries to sign up. Also, the user name and email address of the person who attempts to join the homepage administrator mail will arrive in a blank space.
Can’t you at least allow me to sign up for the user name in Korean?
I am making a sale landing page for the website, once done, I was surprised because the page appears on the homepage, right below the last homepage widget and above the footer.
See the image I give red box is the sale page that should not be there.

I’ve been experiencing a peculiar issue in which my homepage loads, including the post grid, but then the post grid disappears after a couple of seconds.
After running several analysis from different people, it’s been determined that the homepage is huge at 119MB.
I was told as follows, which you may be able to understand better than me:
“Investigating this further and it seems one element you are using for the homepage is the Post Grid which seems to load all of the post and its corresponding images (set as Data Source) when checking the source of the page hence the huge total page size. These posts are just hidden but still have to load the resources on page load so they are ready to show when you click “LOAD MORE” button.”
I’ve tried switching this element to Lazy Load, but the problem persists. Is there possibly a better module I should be using? Any other ideas?

I have some informations that my client want to show in Homepage for each post : Title, category, date, author, excerpt and tag (or post format).

Edit the homepage with the TagDiv Composer and check the settings.
Also, deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones. If you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it and see if the problem goes away.
