Hi, I got round to upgrading to 11.4.2 today, along with the associated plugins. But now I’m seeing this message at the top of my site, all pages and posts. I can’t track it down, please can you help me:

1) I see what you are referencing here. In the past, I was able to shift the entire homepage layout by selecting a different option. For example, a “tile/grid” style layout of featured images that still looks/behaves like a homepage. Like this site that also uses your theme:
I don’t want to display individual full posts in chronological order.
2. Thank you for this. I will dig through and figure out which plugin is causing the conflict.

I am prompted to update to 11.4.2
However, I need to know what this will change? I have changed a lot in the actual code, and I am afraid updating will change all of those settings. For example, I have changed the WP memory limit and the PHP max input vars. Will updating change these settings?
I need to know if the update will also change my theme look. WIll it change the way my homepage or any other pages look??
After updating the Newspaper theme to version 11.4.2, my site’s homepage broke, and now the latest posts look very ugly and unorganized. Please take a look at it and if there’s any solution to this problem, please share it.

I took the slider from the tagdiv composer and arranged as per my vision of the website. I don’t know if it is from the revolutionary slider. Anyways, could i share my website link with you through email at contact@tagdiv.com? Actually i made some minor changes to the homepage(of default pro prebuilt website) and I am on the way to design the site as per my expections. At first i didn’t get the sliders right and later, it went exactly as planned even though i didn’t made any changes. So i was happy that issue got solved on its own.But today the same problem appeared. On top of the that, mobile version is being even on desktop version too.

1. About the post -> https://i.imgur.com/jWmZAbh.jpg I think that you have set on the homepage the element “homepage post” element -> https://i.imgur.com/5ACgRQE.png > https://i.imgur.com/tJazQ69.jpg remove it from the page and the first post that display the image on the full size will be removed.
2. This situation can appear from more problems.
For example it can be from a plugin conflict, for this you need to make a test using only tagDiv plugins.
Also, this problem can appear only on specific page, or it can be do to a code set in the header or footer (you can test it by setting the default header and footer -> https://i.imgur.com/VVlG7W7.png), in this case what you can do is to use the revisions for that page or cloud template -> https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/complete-guide-to-wordpress-post-revisions/

Can you test it using only tagDiv plugins and see if the problem persist?

I think these 2 issues maybe connected, which is why I have started just a single support ticket.
on my homepage, the most recently published article’s Featured Image displays the full width of the homepage as a background image – how can I edit this?
Based on that question I went into Edit Page–>Home. I try to use TagDiv Composer and get this error message:
“Error at zones: 6(models) : 5(dom). The model does not match the content Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)”
Something feels “off” and I have kept everything up to date.

solved the issue with permalink manager lite plugin by Maciej Bis. It has a field for custom url which replaces the wordpress custom permalink structure. Thanks for the insight though. But I have another problem. the slider for posts that i have arranged in homepage for mobile version is not showing up as intended in mobiles. Instead, three images with post title are being displayed. Please help.
Hi stringbenderb5, I just notice something and I think that I know why the options are not looking like for us. You need to edit the homepage with tagDiv Composer and then access the manager, after that the options should be there. In you video I think that you edited directly the cloud header, and that option (for sticky header) is displayed only when you are on a page or cloud cloud template where the header is assigned.

The problem is:
1. Some friend associations will like to use our today’s Daily liturgy post in his homepages.
2. This post, obviously, changes every day as it is the older one of the cathegory named “Daily liturgy” having the tag “ld-next”. (As we have posts for every day of the year, we use this tag, which is daily updated, to sepparate past days from actual and next days)
3. As they want to point directly to this today’s post, I ask if it si possible to give them an URL like, lets say: “revista.arautos.org/?cathegory=633&tag=”ld-next” that they can use in his pages.
4. Or if you have a better, more simple solution for our problem.

However, I’m recently facing an unexpected problem as I’m trying to save some changes on pages under TagDiv Composer:
Use case :
1/ I had to change a small text in ‘description_field’ of a an ‘Image_Info_Box’ extended shortcode, everything ok, i can change the text and save the file, then view it with actual change. No problem at all with that
but :
2/ Then, I want to change the image Url. (Both in Image_url_field and Button_url_field) I can write it. ok. But I cannot save it… when I first try to reload the page (view), it was rendering the old url… and if I reload it in the Composer , it comes with the former basic homepage_url with a /# nul anchor… 🙁
This same problem occurs with a CTA_multipurpose_shortcode when I want to address the ‘Button_url_field’ on another page…
I guess something goes wrong 🙂

The double slash // inside of the url seems to be part of the problem …

This is quite a problem.
Did you tested only with tagDiv plugins to make sure that is not ca plugin compatibility problem? Most of the problems seems to be related to a plugin conflict.
Did you set a mobile page template only for homepage or you set for the rest of website too?

I just checked your website https://www.wirtschaftsanwaelte.at/ and it looks that you have set a redirect to homepage when you access the categories.
Sometimes when the posts are not display in the category that is assigned it can be from an extra plugin that it is used. Please make a test using only tagDiv plugins and see if the problem persist. In case that the problem is no longer there, then enable the plugins one by one and check the situation until you find the plugin that is interfering with the theme.

I’m writing because I have tried to resolve the problem with my Instagram followers, but I couldn’t.
My website is http://www.soloestetica.cl
I linked my Instagram business account (soloestetica.cl) with Newspaper 11. At the bottom of the web you see the latest Instagram posts.
Also if one clicks on the Instagram symbols on any side of the page, it redirects to Instagram. This is OK.
But in the Instagram widgets it doesn’t see my number of followers and it says 0 followers.
That happens on the homepage and in the posts.
How can I solve it?

I think that the tagDiv Composer button is not display only for the homepage and this is because there is not set a page and it is the blog (latest posts).
What you need to do is to set a page as homepage. For this you can use our guide from here -> Homepage – How to build and set it

If you are referring that this link politicadeverdade.com/mou is repeating on the homepage and it is a link from a different page, this is because this one is mentioned in 5 places on the homepage. Some links (from menus and one from the end of homepage) and from 2 blocks.

If the homepage was made using the tagDiv Composer, then you can select the blocks that you want to have a pagination and set it from the filter tab -> https://i.imgur.com/GjFGSc5.png
The numbered pagination can be added only by selecting the page template on the “Page builder + latest articles + pagination”.
