Hi,
I have checked your website and I saw that your footer is the same with your homepage what is not right. Please do the following steps in order to have a right footer to your website. Create a new page with your desired style and layout for your footer and then, go to the Theme panel and add this individual page to be a FOOTER page, from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/6xsQbIGr0F For more information about this functionality, please check the useful guide from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/
Thank you!
Hi,
There are two ways you could do this.
You can import just the homepage if you want to, without installing the actual demo. The homepage of that demo is available in the cloud library
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
This is the page – https://cloud.tagdiv.com/homepage-fast-news/
Then you can set this page as homepage in WordPress – https://forum.tagdiv.com/homepage-how-to-build-and-set-it/
Also import the cloud post template used by the demo – https://cloud.tagdiv.com/dell-will-invest-125-billion-in-chinas-tech-in-the-next-5-years/
Or you can install the demo with content – https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/ which will import all of the above, also the header customization, the stylesheet and different theme panel settings which will replace your current settings.
Regardless of what you choose the posts that you have created will not be affected. All the post are kept in the website database. If you want to keep them safe make periodic database backups, this is even recommended in general.
Let me know if you need help or you have more questions.
Thanks
Hi,
I found the code needed to disable lazyload on an image class. I have searched through the theme editor, but I can’t find any lazyload code.
I’m hoping you can give me the correct newspaper code to add in place of the ‘rocket’ wording. I’ll then be able to also add the code for the front big grid section of the homepage. I think many Newspaper users will find this helpful, especially on mobile devices.
+++function rocket_lazyload_exclude_class( $attributes ) {
$attributes[] = ‘class=”td-post-featured-image”‘;
return $attributes;
}
add_filter( ‘rocket_lazyload_excluded_attributes’, ‘rocket_lazyload_exclude_class’ );+++
Hi Support,
I’ve added my Google Adsense code to the Header ad, Sidebar ad, Article Inline ad, and Article Bottom ad. However, the ads appear to be showing up in random locations, completely ignoring my placement.
Using the Header ad as an example, the ad should appear beside my logo on my homepage. Instead, it’s a huge ad that appears underneath it.
For my Sidebar Ad, it doesn’t even appear.
What’s going on here? Any help is very much appreciated. For your reference, my website is http://www.supergeekreview.com
Hi,
If you like a demo you can install theme without content, please check our documentation -> Installing Demos – Installing Demos
Also if you want only the homepage layout you can get this from tagDiv Cloud Library or you can create one -> How to Create Beautiful Homepages with Newspaper Theme – https://tagdiv.com/how-to-create-homepages-with-newspaper-theme/
Also the post should work properly if you have used only the WordPress editor, but the pages in most cases will need to be recreated.
But first will be recommended to make a full backup to your website and database.
Thank you!
Hi,
So that is happening only with the homepage? What if you try and edit a different page or a new page?
If it happens only for the homepage that could mean there is something in it’s content that causes the problem, some code maybe.
If it happens for all pages even new ones, then it is a general issue, could be caused by a plugin maybe.
We could also take a look, send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login, also cPanel if possible. Include a link to this topic in the email.
Thanks
Hello
I am designing the homepage of my Blog and the homepage of Newspaper Fast News demo is the perfect design I have been looking for. I am eager to import the template of it, but I have published a lot of single posts on my Blog. So if I import this template, will the content of my single posts be changed by it? Because I used to import another template, which changed the content of what I had published, making me so annoyed. Therefore, I am worried about this problem a lot. If it will change the content, are there any ways to protect that from happening? If yes, please inform me.
By the way, would you please provide me with the instructions about how to design the content of it after I import the template, such as how to make the headline, how to upload the images, how to adjust the characters and so on. I will appreciate it a lot if you could provide me a detailed instruction about how to design the homepage step by step.
I would be more than grateful if you could reply to me at your earliest convenience. Looking forward to your reply.
Regards
Hugo
I’m getting this error:

The image issue is fixed now, the modules use proper thumbnails not resized full images.
It is true that some plugins may not work properly or at all with the mobile theme, and it does not have many customization options. Also it uses simplified predefined templates for posts, categories, homepage etc. These are the reasons why it is faster.
You could not use the mobile theme, then the same content from desktop will load on mobile.
From what I can see he website uses AMP – https://labussolanews.com/rimini/servizio-gestione-rifiuti-tariffa-corrispettiva-puntuale-online-i-numeri/amp/
It is also valid – http://prntscr.com/n41lrr
Google will index the AMP pages and display them in the search results
– http://prntscr.com/n41mzb
The official AMP plugin has it’s predefined template and layout, it has no settings for the logo, ads etc. With the mobile theme there will be ad spots in the theme panel. So ads while using just the AMP plugin could be added like this
– https://isabelcastillo.com/google-adsense-wordpress-amp
– http://www.jilaxzone.com/2018/04/21/a-guide-how-to-show-adsense-ads-on-amp-pages-on-wordpress-sites/
In the cloud post templates currently there are no size settings for the ads. These may be added in the future. The solution is to use media queries

Hello Author,
I have given some javascript code in the text block of TD Composer on my website homepage. I saved and closed the tab. After that website is crashed. Can you please help me with the path where the content has been saved so that I can go there and delete it!
Hi,
I checked again your website and your ads appear.
Please set some ads on homepage, because you do not have any ads on homepage.
Also is possible that your visitors/views to not check the post until the end, so they will not see all ads that you have set in posts.
Thank you!
Hi there, i’ve just rebuilt my homepage using the tagdiv composer at https://billyscrashhelmets.com.
In the first content block you see (below the intro text), I’m displaying the category tag next to each helmet – but each of those helmets has 3 categories assigned and I want them to display a different category from the one they’re showing ‘All helmet reviews’. Is there a way for me to choose which category name is being displayed? I’ve tried changing the primary category to see if it’s choosing based on that (which would work) but it seems to be just choosing what’s displayed based on alphabetical order which is a bit pants.
Any ideas on how to get it to display a different category in there? thanks.
I have the unique articles function running on my website’s homepage, and I want it to run, however I have one content block that I have set to only display on mobile devices (it is set to hidden via your TD Composer CSS panel for desktop and tablet devices but set to show on mobile phones). I want this content block to show the same article as what I show on desktop, but because I have unique articles functionality running it doesn’t allow it. How can I override the unique articles function just for this one content block on the homepage?
The use case is on desktop we like our featured story to show using one content block style, but on mobile phones we like a different content block for showing the featured story which is why we have it only show on mobile phones. I want the same latest featured story to show in both the desktop featured content block and mobile featured content block with unique articles still turned on the homepage.
Hi,
That is true, when designing a cloud header template what you set in it for desktop will not appear on mobile. So you have to add elements when on mobile. So for example I have this content on desktop
– http://prntscr.com/n3kwyw and this on mobile – http://prntscr.com/n3kx50
Both the desktop header content and the mobile content are loaded, it is just that when on desktop the mobile header is hidden, and when on mobile the desktop header is hidden. But the elements are still there and loaded, just hidden.
The purpose of the mobile theme is to simplify the mobile pages greatly, that is why with it active the results are noticeably better when testing with speed tools. Now it can also be used together with the AMP official plugin.
We will improve it’s current functionality in future updates. If it’s not active the same exact content and resources from desktop will be loaded on mobile, and now with the somewhat new Google algorithm when testing it will take into account each website visitors loading speed on mobile and provide a score based on this.
The issue with the background loading transition is known, we will find a solution for it. The quick fix for the moment would be to enter this code in the theme panel analytics section, enter it as the first code there (before all other codes you have entered)
<style>.td-element-style {
opacity:1!important;
}</style>
Flex blocks use one of these thumbnails – http://prntscr.com/n3l80s This allows greater flexibility by for example setting a custom height or width for the module. But it also means that the image may not be exactly as the module, like with predefined blocks.
However from what I can see the flex block in the homepage on your website isn’t using a theme created thumbnail, instead the original image is resized
– http://prntscr.com/n3lb1r
I suggest that you regenerate the thumbnails so that they are created properly
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/
Also disable the jetpack image optimization module for images
– https://jetpack.com/support/site-accelerator/
Or begin by disabling this module first, and check if a thumbnail is loaded, before regenerating.
Thanks
Ok,
The mobile version is now working after figuring out I have to disable the Jetpack mobile version. I like how it works, howevere I still have a couple of questions:
1. How do I customize the featured image of the posts displayed in the homepage like in your tutorial video of the mobile theme?
2. The tab section of the mobile theme is helpful (plain helpful), but I need to add other elements such as logo and
3. Disable others such as the main menu (which it is not deactivated in the theme panel after saving settings) and the search feature
4. The footer also needs a logo, which like in the header, CANNOT be added!
5. And this is a personal remark. I know you guys sell this theme as a piece of cake to set it. Which is in part true, but it is still way toooo far to be it.
Thanks
Hi,
So I just updated the newspaper theme, and I got an error on my homepage. My blog is : https://kadungcampur.com

Then when I want to check my homepage using the tagdiv composer on Page menu, I got this error :

I’ve already updated the plugins from Newspaper that I used, ie. tagdiv composer and tagdiv newsletter.
Any helps would be appreciated.
PS : I am not a technical person.
I’ve been using Newspaper for over a year on my website and never had an issue upgrading. When I went from 9.5 (I think) to 9.6.1, the coloring of my main menu and footer disappeared. I have attempted the upgrade 3 different times and get the same result.
This is how it used to look. (Ignore the under construction banner):
Menu: http://prntscr.com/n39w6p
Footer: http://prntscr.com/n39vyv
Widgets: http://prntscr.com/n39wc3
This is how it looks now…
Menu: http://prntscr.com/n39wl4
Footer: http://prntscr.com/n39x3e
No widgets: http://prntscr.com/n39wwi
Another thing that is odd. The top featured post image used to have different dimensions. Now all of the posts on the homepage look the same. See the pretzels top post image:
Now: http://prntscr.com/n39yc0
Before: http://prntscr.com/n39z44
I am using header style 6 and footer style 14.
..The website is http://prntscr.com/n39x3e
There is some custom CSS but this has not changed in months and I have never had an issue with prior upgrades:

Posts look alright – http://prntscr.com/n356ha
Also pages – http://prntscr.com/n356wi
The homepage will not be AMP, only simple pages containing no composer elements can be AMP. Such as the pages in the footer – https://elevatedgarage.com/privacy-policy/
Activating the mobile theme the homepage will be AMP ready, it will use a predefined template, not composer content.
Hi,
Sorry for this, but note that if you keep replying in your own topic before we reply, it will only delay the answer from us. It will refresh the topic date and add it to the bottom of the queue. We answer from oldest to newest.
The homepage has content at the moment – http://prntscr.com/n34n7u
Posts will require that a featured image or video is set for each of them
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-image-or-video/
If there is no featured image/video set the theme won’t have thumbnails to display in blocks and grids – https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-thumbs/
So each post should have a featured image or video. I can’t say if this will be possible to do with a plugin instead of manually setting a featured image, we haven’t tested such plugins unfortunately.
I see that there are images in the modules however, try to do a regeneration
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/
This will recreate the necessary thumbnails.
Also be sure to check the theme requirements guide – https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-requirements/
The PHP version used by he server should be for example 7, 7.1 or 7.2. There could be errors when using older versions of PHP. Let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks
Hi,
Thank you for reaching us! I think that your homepage displays your latest posts as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/ywPsM1qW1G1K and if you want to change the modules for this page, you need to go and change from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/W0rAnlqCU If you will choose the second option, you will can create your own custom page, using the TD Composer as page builder. For more details, you can read our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/homepage-how-to-build-and-set-it/
Thank you!
Hi,
I’ve placed the video on the homepage and it’s working fine on PC but it’s not working on mobile.
I also don’t want the play button. It should automatically play the video as in PC version.
Thanks
Hi,
1. That depends on what the page contains, maybe other factors if used, like row stretching, backgrounds, CSS styling. Best way to check if there are issues would be to copy the homepage content from the backend, into a test page and edit that with WPBakery. Do what is needed, then update and view the page.
A simple page containing normal theme blocks and grids (no flex or cloud library elements) should work just as well with both builders.
To avoid any possible issues it would be best to use just one page builder at all times, if possible.
2. This I can’t say exactly, I have seen users that use such extensions for WPBakery. In some cases there were some issues, but I don’t remember which add on was it about or what the problem was.
If it is possible, ask them if they have a trial version or if they can provide a refund in case there are problems. Be sure to test while the tagDiv composer is inactive, there could be conflicts.
Thanks
Hi,
You can add a search form in your homepage with tagDiv Composer -> https://www.screencast.com/t/XqN852SEFm
Thank you!
