Please note that speed booster not working due to incompatibility with so many plugins….and out of which one is akismet…Please tell me a thing that a large website must have akismet active to protect from spam comments and your plugin is not compatible with that…..

We need a Popup plugin for all our posts in our Newspaper theme(exammag.in). When I tried a thirdparty plugin called Popup Builder Pro, it disabled your SpeedBooster, showing an error message “Speed Booster v4.1 – Disabled – incompatible plugin detected: popup-builderPro/popup-builderPro.php”
Could you help us to resolve this issue by suggesting a compatible plugin for SpeedBooster v4.1 or workarounds to resolve this issue? Your help is much appreciated.

I just updated the theme, but the website still runs very slow. the speed booster info shows like this “v4.5 – Disabled – incompatible plugin detected: adminer/adminer.php”.
also the social media icons on the pages home page we can’t link to our social media account, such as Facebook and twitter.
the website has two sites, English and Chinese. on English site, some not translated and still show in Chinese, if you guys can help me to fix it.

I am using the Custom Permalinks Plugin (by By Michael Tyson) which is useful for creating .html pages.
I checked the Newspaper System Status and Speed Booster has disabled itself. The comment says the following: v4.2 – Disabled – incompatible plugin detected: custom-permalinks/custom-permalinks.php
Is Speed Booster needs to increase speed of my website http://www.aerospaceguide.net, if so how do I get it to work again?
Do you know any other custom permalinks plugins?

As for the images, please disable all other image related plugins like photon or other optimization tools and then add the following code at the end of the functions.php which is located in the theme folder, the code will automatically compress each thumbnail to 50%:
add_filter( 'jpeg_quality', create_function('', 'return 50;' ) );

*In the step of installing TagDiv Speed Booster i get next problem:

So… Definetly Akismet it´s a needed pluging… any ideas?
*Following i´m still having problems with my images… (i´ve optimized them with RIOT and also with WP Smush it pluging) But still having the same issue.

Is there a way I can enable Speed Booster with using the wp-security plugin?

My high traffic travel website http://www.asiantraveltips.com has been using Newspaper theme for a couple of months now and it has been pretty good, but since the latest version updates all kinds of things have broken and I can’t fix them. I am currently on V7.0.1. My server is a VPS at A Small Orange running Apache with PHP V 5.4.45 and 1024 MB RAM. I’ve copied the Theme Status data below.
The Visual Composer is no longer working. I have tried uninstalling the plugin and reinstalling from the plugins folder in the theme files and it’s now on V.4.11.2 as you recommend but it still doesn’t work. If you visit the home page you’ll see the [vc] code is displayed at the top of the page instead of the parallax image scroller that should be there.
The image above shows the page editor screen when I try to edit my static front page. It’s blank. Before I uninstalled and reinstalled VC, it was displaying a VC logo in there but when I’d click it, I’d be taken to their website to buy the product. Now there’s just a blank box and if I click on the VC logo next to “Classic Editor” it does nothing. Same when I try to create a new page.
I have also lost my Mappress Pro maps and the admin strip across the tops of pages and posts when I am logged in as administrator. If I change back to my old theme, they both work just fine so it’s definitely related to Newspaper theme. I have even tried disabling all the other plugins and disabling Cloudflare and it makes no difference. So it doesn’t seem to be a plugin conflict.
I’m desperate and running out of options. This is starting to crash my Google rankings as well now.

Hi, the theme works fine, but i would need to improve performance. On Newspaper system status i see two problems:
“Speed Booster v4.4 – Disabled – incompatible plugin detected: woocommerce-mercadopago/woocommerce-mercadopago.php”
“Caching plugin No caching plugin detected – for best performance we recommend using WP Super Cache”
I´m running the last wordpress version on multisite mode with supercache plugin enabled to network. I dont know why Newspaper dont detect it. Also, what change i must to do on woocommerce-mercadopago.php to solve incompatibility.

Please notice that the CSS working in cascade (Cascading Style Sheet) and the first time take the code from style.css and then take the color that you have changed from Theme panel or through custom CSS area and because of this will appear that delay in loading. Unfortunately, it is not really a valid solution in this case because is the system’s behavior.
