Hi,

From what I understand you are missing the option to update the user profile
https://www.screencast.com/t/PcB5n4pko
Please provide more details about this and some useful screenshots if possible. In the meantime you can try to deactivate all your plugins except Visual composer, clear any caching installed then check to see if the problem is still present. A problematic plugin could be the cause for this.

Thanks

Hello tilakmarg,

Ensure that you are using the latest theme version and if you are using some untested plugins, try to disable all of them, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme core files and rule out any conflicting plugins. The bbPress plugins are compatible with the theme and should work as properly. Probably, you untested plugins might affect this functionality. Try to switch to a default theme and check the results.

Thanks for your understanding!

Hi,

There is no need to use a hack to display the images properly. The theme automatically creates the necessary thumbnails needed for the blocks or big grids, from the featured image you set on the post
https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-thumbs/
You can use this guide to regenerate the thumbnails if they are not displaying properly
https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/
After the regeneration process is complete, please clear any caching installed.
Also as it is usually the case for most image problems, some plugin you have installed could be interfering with the theme, causing this issue. You could try to disable them all except the ones bundled with the theme, clear the cache if you have one installed, and check to see if the problem is still there.
If you try these suggestions and the result is not favorable, please provide a link to your website, so we can inspect it.

Thanks

Hi,

Try disabling all your plugins except Visual composer, clear any caching installed and then try again. If this does not fix the issue try deactivating and deleting the editor then reinstall it from the theme package.
After trying these suggestions with no favorable result, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login information, so we can take a look. Maybe we can spot why this happens, preventing you from using the Visual composer editor.
Also provide specific details about this problem and a link to this topic, so we can identify you.

Thanks

Hello,

The only cache plugin tested and recommended to be used with our theme is Wp super cache and these settings: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
As you can imagine, we did not pick this plugin randomly. We are aware there are faster cache plugins out there but this one is the only one we found so far that is fully compatible with our theme. The other cache plugins all have different issues that prevented us from marking them as recommended.

Thank you!

Thank you for a quick reply.

I have tried that, i have disabled all plugins except VC, the theme install was brand new with no code added, but this still happens.

The only difference from the demo is that my website is RTL, maybe it has something to do with that?

Please assist.

I am using this theme on WordPress with bbPress installation. When I search anything from the WordPress search (search icon in the main menu bar), it does NOT show any results from the Forum topics and replies. I have updated the WordPress and the plugin also. Yet, no change.

Can you please suggest some solution?

Hello pascalvieille,

First of all, if you are using some untested plugins, try to disable all of them, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme core files and rule out any conflicting plugins. The smart sidebar is a too sensible feature and if your have some untested plugins, the functionality of it might be damaged, sorry! After this, if your problem is still there, please provide your website URL so I can take a closer look at it.

Thanks for your understanding!

Hi,

That is not supposed to happen. This could be the result of some problematic plugins, you could try to disable all of them, except Visual composer and the mobile theme plugin if you are using it, clear any caching installed then test again. Also check any custom code that you might have entered in theme panel, added directly to the theme files or modifications through a child theme.
These kind of issues are usually caused by plugins or modifications to the theme. If you already tried the suggestions mentioned above, please provide a link to your website so we can take a look.

Thanks

Hi Bogdan,

I believe my permission settings and system status parameters are all fine, as I am able to download, install, activate and use other plugins. For some reason, it’s only the tag div social counter that’s giving me trouble.

As mentioned, I already tried disabling all plugins and clearing my cache, but it didn’t work. Do you have any other suggestions for how to get the plugin to work?

Thanks,

Dave

Hi,

Please provide more details about the problems that are preventing you from installing a demo. Installing a demo is not a complicated process – https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/ and it can be achieved with a few clicks.
Please check the theme system status and make modifications to the parameters mentioned in this guide, if necessary, then try to install a demo again

Thanks

Hi tagDiv team,

we just installed woocommerce and so far (while setting it up) it works without issues.

The website’s language is Bulgarian and everything needs to be in that language.

Wordpress and woocommerce are both set in BG, but there are many words/button labels, messages etc. (for example in different steps of the purchasing process) that are not translated in Bulgarian.

Following this short guide: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-localization/

I localized the woocommerce’s PO file which is responsible for the translation. In our case: woocommerce-bg_BG ( you can download it here https://www.dropbox.com/s/7k4s6infkaucq01/woocommerce-bg_BG.po?dl=0 )

When I open that file using PoEdit, it seems that all words are translated in Bulgarian, but on the website not everything is translated – it is a mixture of English and Bulgarian.

See some examples here:

How can I fix this?

Thanks for your time.
Cheers,
S

I Can’t install demo

Hello wilfredo,

You should simply copy and paste the child theme inside the folder with your theme and when you will go to the Theme panel->Appearance->Themes, you will have to see the child theme. Try to follow again these steps and check the results. Otherwise, you should make a new clean install from scratch and install again the child theme and check the results.

Thanks for the message!

Like I mentioned nothing else changed when the site was migrated to the new server no new plugins were installed. However, if you look now every plugin has been deactivated but the essentials and it’s still not working.

Hello wilfredo,

My advice is trying to make a new fresh install from scratch via FTP way, disable all of the untested plugins if you are using something like this, clear all your caches, purge all CDN files if you are using the CDN system, make sure that you are suing the latest version of theme and the PHP 7.0 or less.

Thanks for your understanding and let us know how it goes after you will follow these required steps.

Hello ryan_lipton,

I have inspected your source page of your website and I saw that you are using a lot of untested plugins which can interact with the theme core files and cause a lot of unknown issues. Try to disable all of them, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet. -> https://www.screencast.com/t/vqDEeoCYvj Notice that we cannot provide theme support if you are using these untested plugins. Try to make a new sub-domain with a fresh install where you should install only the default theme and check the homepage post module and see how it will work or not. This element has been tested with the theme and seems to work as expected.

Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Hello,

Please do not use php 7.1 This error occurs when using this version of php. Our theme is only compatible up to version 7.0.
Please change the php version on your server to 7.0 and then uninstall and install the theme demo again. Not the whole theme. Just the theme demo: https://www.screencast.com/t/8rRH2YCHQc

Thank you!

Hello Escobar,

I have inspected your website on iPad device and the header seems to work as expected, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/NZc9YtQWQywg Notice that the menu on iPad has not been designed to be in hamburger mode. This menu style is only available on mobile. Please keep in mind that the theme is optimized to work as expected on all devices (desktop/Tablet/iPad/Mobile) and this thing can be verified on our demo here -> https://demo.tagdiv.com/newsmag/ Notice that each additional customization will affect the theme and if it is not right added, might influence the entire theme and the responsiveness. If your problem is still there after clearing your caches, I suggest you making a new clean install from scratch via FTP way and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme core file and rule out any conflicting plugins.

Thanks for your understanding!

Salut,

https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
https://codex.bbpress.org/step-by-step-guide-to-setting-up-a-bbpress-forum/
Se poate sa fie vreo setare trecuta cu vederea, sau configurare gresita undeva.

Multumesc!

If the access token does not get generated it means you did not update the plugin. The version you are using does not work anymore because of facebook changes to their code. Please update your theme to the latest version and also update the plugin by disabling and deleting the current one you use and installing it again from the new theme package you download from envato. Then the access toke will work .Important however is to clear all caching including the browser cache.

Thank you!

Hello Mustafa Varol,

Our theme has this option and when you want to share other posts on facebook will display the author name, like this: http://screencast.com/t/X9va7aOglP You have control on this feature from td_wp_booster_functions.php file like this: http://screencast.com/t/ThEgEFxgw6F Please inspect this file on your back end and check if you have this code. SEO Yoast Plugin is tested on our theme and works properly with default settings. I have no idea why do not work for you. If you use another Plugin for Seach Engine Optimization, try to disable it, maybe cause this problem and try it again.
Also, you can try to disable all the active plugins, except Visual Composer, empty all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme.

Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Thank you for the message!
