Also please contact your host and have them disable any hosting side caching as this seems to be the case more and more.
Hosting cache is not recommended for our theme.

Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Then install the mobile theme before all the other plugins.

I have all tested plugins installed on my end including revolution slider and budypress and I can login and out without errors. Please also check your child theme for any errors if you have one that is. Switch to the main theme if you use a child theme. Also after you disable all plugins you should also clear cache

I’ve taken a look at the php5.ini file in my FTP and it says my memory_limit = 1024M. But on the front end dashboard upload it says I can only upload images 32MB or less.
I’ve also tried a reinstall, which doesn’t work either. Thank you!! Otherwise dope template. Please help.

I install Newspaper theme after buying it. I’m on WordPress 4.7.2
When i active one of the two extension Revolution Slider or Buddy Press whom are recommanded, i can’t loggin on user or administrator.
I need to delete folder plug in on FTP connexion to restore my administration access.
I install only the plugins found on https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-wordpress/ :
– Visual Composer
– Revolution Slider -> error if activate
– tagDiv Social counter
– tagDiv Speed booster
– Mobile theme
Recommended plugins
– WordPress SEO – SEO plugin -> not found on market ?
– WP Super Cache – caching plugin
– Contact form 7 – used to make contact forms
– WooCommerce – eCommerce solution -> not install / no need
– bbPress – forum plugin -> not install / no need
BuddyPress- social network plugin -> error if activate
– Font Awesome 4 Menus- icon pack, supported in the theme menus
– Wp User Avatar – Change users avatars -> not install / no need
– Jetpack – plugin with lots of features *it may slow down your site -> not install / no need

With our site using the Newspaper 7 theme, it looks absolutely fantastic on an iPad. However, when I install the mobile plug-in, it changes it to the iPhone view which isn’t as good and is missing the menu functions. My questions:
Can you install the mobile plug-in but prevent the iPad or other tablets from showing the mobile version?
Is there any way to get the top menu to appear alongside the main menu items in the mobile box-doohickey thing in the left hand corner?
Is there a way to move the top ad that appears on the top right of the page to appear below the menu bar on the mobile version?

Not a big deal, but just thought I’d ask. In the System Status panel, under “Caching plugin”, I notice that it doesn’t recognize if WP Rocket is installed and active. I know this doesn’t change anything, but it would just be nice to get rid of the yellow “warning” label and have my system status be all green. 🙂
You don’t have to recommend a paid plugin or anything — just turn green if WP Rocket is active.

I have just installed Newsmag and all’s well apart from I cannot change the background colour of the main menu. It’s stuck on solid black. I’ve tried changing it using the Theme Colors section on the Theme Panel but it won’t change to any other colour or change the % of tint.
Oddly, the Editor link in the Appearance section has disappeared too. Otherwise it works fine.

The best way to go about this is to create a back-up first.
Thyen simply delete the old theme and install the latest version directly as a new theme. The differences between the 2 are way too many. It will be as switching to a whole new theme. We have tried to maintain compatibility between the theme elements though so you can run the update script for newspaper 4 from here: https://www.screencast.com/t/084XLAKU (this is done after you install the new theme)
Unfortuantely you will have to remove a few elements and replace them with current elements as some will not be available anymore in the current version.
Pages are the ones that require attention the most. Posts will have a changed post style because the old post styles are not available anymore.

We have tested the theme security rigorously before releasing and also it was tested and analyzed by Envato reviewers and if would have any security issues would not pass their reviews.

Try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches and test again. First of all, please update the theme to the latest version of it via FTP according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/ clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins. I have tested on my side and the Twitter share button seems to work as properly.

Hi there,
Today I was updating all my websites and I noticed a website that hasn’t received an update in quite some time. It is running Newspaper Version: 4.6.3 on WordPress 4.5.4.
How do you suggest I proceed? I guess I can update to v5>v6>v7, but I am not sure I kept all the required files (and themeforest only let’s you download the latest version). Alternatively I could remove the theme completely and install v7 over the current post database. But not sure if I can then import my stylings settings thereafter.

Thanks for your message. I would be happy to allow you to access my site. I already had a developer looking into this but no one knows why the theme does not work with regards to responsiveness. The only plugins which were installed come with the theme ( no external plugin were installed). If I will be making a new clean install from scratch, should I be worried about the exciting content?
