Hello Mayapur Voice,
The speed booster is an optional plugin and it is tested only with these plugins – http://screencast.com/t/hcjLnOqh4i2 and if you use other plugins it will be automatically disabled. A lot of people install the plugin without knowing what it does and after that they add many plugins and some of the them are not written fine so the developer took this decision. If you want to always enable speed booster, delete this code from speed booster file: http://screencast.com/t/RZLIOPUNdqh
1)The latest version of Speedbooster is 4.2.
2)Please notice that the Speedbooster should affect your speed page in well because this is its role. Also, please notice that you are not set it the Speedbooster according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ and if you have just installed, this plugin does not affect it. As you can see in our documentation, this tutorial addresses only for ADVANCED USERS. If you do not have some knowledge in this regard, please notice that you will have to spend quite a bit of time to learning how to increase your page speed and if you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide customization services at the moment, sorry!
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi Catalin,
Thanks for the reply. The popup that I referred to is the subscription popup which will be shown up when I go to the store index page. (Please check this screenshot: https://www.dropbox.com/s/mm7bat20w71ou9j/Screen%20Shot%202016-05-05%20at%209.51.37%20PM.png?dl=0)
This popup exists when I installed the theme. I guess it is using some kind of plugin and could be configured somewhere in the system configuration page. I only figured out it is displaying the content inside a static block named “arw_sebian_block_popup”. However, I seem could not find how to change the store to display another block.
Thanks for your help. 🙂
Hello Torgut,
1)Unfortunately, I have checked your website and I saw that you have a lot of customizations. As you can see in this screenshot here -> http://screencast.com/t/2KVWPuCDaGYh this behaviour come from your additional custom CSS code -> http://screencast.com/t/2KVWPuCDaGYh If you want to remove it you have to remove from your custom CSS box, from Theme panel.
2)I have checked your source page again and I saw that you are using a lot of untested plugins which could cause a lot of unknown issues in theme. First of all, please try to disable the Photon module from Jetpack plugin because it seems that this type of plugin is a problematic one and create a lot of issue in our theme ->http://screencast.com/t/YBBe3mk5A Also, for better results, we recommend to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins.
3)Now, you have a lot of customizations with CSS that can affect your theme design. Also, please notice that when my colleague provided you a custom CSS code you did not have a category tag. Subsequently, you have added them and that general code will further affect the style of your tag. Please notice that this was your request at that moment -> http://screencast.com/t/HzKsKuLVqhU Please notice that any code you have added in your backend to fix some design styles and then you have changed them or have added other options will affect these and probably do not work as properly or what you want. Please try to check your custom CSS box, remove this part of the code and check the results.
Thanks.
Hi,
If you tried testing the theme in it’s default state, then this could also be a server side issue. Maybe there are certain settings made on the server preventing google from analyzing your site correctly.
Our theme gets a positive response for mobile friendly tests: https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/mobile-friendly/?url=demo.tagdiv.com%2Fnewspaper
Please contact your hosting provider and as if he knows anything on the server that can prevent the google insights.
You can try this on a sub-domain with a fresh install of wp and the theme and see if the mobile friendly test returns the same.
Thank you!
Today, “suddenly” my all theme settings gone and set to default by itself. I’ve just posted 2 contents and they all resetted. My logos, background, theme colors, ads settings, menu settings, footer settings, post settings etc… Theme looks like new installed. But I didn’t do anything! Until today everything was normal. I import my local theme settings and solved this. How is that possible like this?
Hello threesides,
Please ensure that you are using the latest version of Visual Composer (4.11.2), that come bundled with the latest version of the theme (6.7.2), clear all cache and check the results. Until now we do not have any bad reports in this regards and should work as properly. Also, please try to use the theme without some untested plugins (Tiny MCE is not tested with our theme) because these cold interfere with the theme and might create a lot of unknown issues. Also, if your problem is still there after these changes, try to make a fresh install to ruling out all of potential issues which could be appeared, in your previous installation.
Please try to make a fresh install of the theme and then only install the Visual composer version that comes with the theme. Please remove any other version from the plugins section (disable and remove) and then install it from here: http://screencast.com/t/DwZN21u0VR -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/ Also, please ensure that you have the latest version of the theme because there you will find the latest version of Visual Composer that come bundled with our theme.
Thanks.
Hello Torgut,
1)I do not understand very good on what you are referring to in this case. So, I assume that you want to change the menu color when you do hover effect over these, like -> http://screencast.com/t/h7bbVHQU Please notice that this menu is called mega menu and you can only set from your panel. For more information about this, please check our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/mega-menu/
If is not what you mean, please provide more details, some useful screenshots so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.
2)Please check the following topic because there was be discussed this issue and there it explains the entire system when the theme uses the images. Please check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/resize-thumbnails-to-proper-size/
3)Unfortunately, this behavior is not come from our theme, sorry! It is most likely a plugin conflict which generates this behaviour. Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, please all caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme. Also, you can compare our demo with your website and you will see that to our demo it is not this behaviour with hover on the category tags -> it is the same effect.
Thanks.
Hello Cybi,
After you have done your update to the latest version of the theme (6.7.2), please try to delete your old Visual Composer from your Plugins area, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/Tt9OsrzvdEL (deactivate and then delete it) and then you have to install from your Theme panel, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/wbPjiuXVEL
Hope this helps!
Thank you for your message!
I could reinstall the visual composer , with the new version and is now working , thank you!
Hi, In our posts the ‘visual’ or ‘TEXT’ tab in the WP WSYIWYG editor is not showing on our install. We can only edit in text mode and can’t switch.
Installed the Tiny MCE advanced plugin to see if this fixed but no luck.
Have updated to WP 4.5 and tested in Chrome and IE, Edge.
http://blog.sw.com.au/
theme: Newspaper 6.7
Any suggested fixes? Is this a theme setting which we have ignored?
thanks – Todd
Hi,
I have a problem with the number of Facebook fans. Normally it should be around 59k but it shows just 1 and it doesn’t change. I’ve been reading almost all topics about the problem. I deleted and re-installed social counter plugin, i’ve checked if it’s an old version. And nothing fixed my problem. Everything looks normal (new version, apps secrets, access tokens etc.)
P.S. I have my website on another server and i’m preparing it for public. So even i give you the link without changing your host file you can’t see it.
Thanks in advance
Same here. The theme installed fine but the error is with installing VC. The error is:
The package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature
i can get the desktop load speed to move up to 88 after i install the speed booster plugin, but i still get issues. The first is a javascript error which breaks the lazy load and also breaks the posts what use the large backdrop.
(index):1153 Uncaught ReferenceError: tdAjaxCount is not defined
I also cant seem to get the main theme style.css to move to the footer even when i add the item to the speed booster plugin which is why i want to just reduce its size. It i can bring it down to 100kb or so it will take a lot of the pain away.
Hi Catalin, thanks for your support.. I do have the visual composer installed in Theme plugin area as per the image you sent.. What about updating it.. I found a link here for that.
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-to-update-visual-composer-2/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/update-the-visual-composer-plugin-wpbakery/
I also deleted wpbakery, is that wrong?
Hello failmuch,
Please ensure that you are using the latest version of Visual Composer (4.11.2) and Newspaper (6.7.2). Also, please notice that this plugin come bundled with our theme and it is not necessary to buy another license in this regard. Please ignore this message and try to install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme, clear all caches and check the results.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hello Mbclk,
Unfortunately, we do not have .xml file that could be imported via WordPress, sorry! Please notice that if you want to have a demo, the single way is to install it from WordPress, Demo section like this -> http://screencast.com/t/aqzU44ceqX
Thank you for your understanding!
Hello olivervossmann,
I have checked your website and I saw your mega menu. It seems to be a conflicting plugin. Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme. Also, you can compare the mega menu with our demo preview and there you can see that this feature is working fine. Also, please ensure that you have correctly set you mega menu according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/mega-menu/ Also, if you have any additional customizations please try to remove them and see how it works.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi
This blank space is not generated by the theme, it seems to be added by a facebook widget: http://screencast.com/t/DxlcxjRX I am not sure what code calls that widget but it could be one of your installed plugins or a custom code added in theme’s files. Try to deactivate all plugin except Visual Composer, clear all caches then test again If you still can’t manage to remove that space use this css in theme panel > custom code > custom css: http://screencast.com/t/hG4hl3DzhRSX
.fb_iframe_widget_fluid {
display: none;
}
Thanks!
Hi Guys,
After I copied my GA code and pasted it into the appropriate box in the theme panel, it started displaying above the header of my site. See here for example:
http://www.irreverentgent.com/
How do I fix this?
Also, I’ve installed the code, but I don’t see any results in GA. How can I make sure it’s connected properly?
Thanks!
Hello mayankaircel,
Please ensure that you have correctly installed the plugin according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-woo-label-plugin/ Also, please try it without any untested plugins because it is possible to appear some interferences between theme and this plugin that could create some unknown issues.
Thank you for the message!
Hello RadGoat,
Unfortunately, I cannot access your website, I give that -> http://screencast.com/t/ihdhrf3A and also, when I log-in on your WordPress, I cannot find our theme installed -> http://screencast.com/t/Mz96BjuD5 Please provide a valid URL with our theme (Newspaper) so I can further inspect your logo.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hello dmitriy,
It’s most likely a conflicting plugin that creates this issue. I have checked your source page and I noticed that you are using some untested plugins. Please try to disable them, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out this conflict. Also, you can try to disable the lazy load option from your panel because this option could interfere with your untested plugins and could create this type of issues. -> http://screencast.com/t/louo7XBjOn
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
